I'm a 15 year old girl from Boston, Massachusetts. My mom read me Harry Potter when I was a kid, and me and my friend would always act out certain scenes, she would always be Hermione and fall in love with Ron (she had the biggest crush on Rupert Grint) and I'd be some random girl (this was before HBP) who'd find love with a certain green-eyed, black haired, heart throb ;)
Anyways, I rediscovered my love for the Harry Potter series this summer, and since then I've been rereading the books over and over again, much to the dismay of my family (they love Harry Potter, don't get me wrong, but they don't think my obsession is healthy, which it probably isn't)
A little more about me: I love dissecting novels, T.V. shows, and movies more than anything else in the world. I fall in love with characters and quotes, and my greatest comfort after a long day at school is curling up with a Harry Potter book (preferrably one with Sirius Black in it) or a movie like Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, or Titanic (yep, I'm a romance type girl)
I'm trying to be a better writer, and also get all these ideas for scenarios out on paper, in the hopes that then I'll finally be able to concentrate on Chemistry, instead of the never ending enigma of Severus Snape
I'm a Canon girl, and absolutely despise Draco/Hermione stories (I think Draco would be better suited with a Boggart, or perhaps the Giant Squid?)
My favorite era is the Marauder era, and Ginny and Harry are probably the two cutest people in the whole world. 'Nuff said.
My Constant by MoRoCcAnAnDpRoUd
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 484]
Summary: The first war with Lord Voldemort is constantly getting worse; people are dying left and right, dementors are attacking people on the Death Eaters' orders, and nobody knows who is trustworthy anymore. Lily Evans, in her seventh year at Howarts, does not want to be a part of the war -- but some things are unavoidable.
I really like the story so far. You've got a great writing style and everything flows pretty nicely. I really liked Frank and Alice's part, there aren't nearly enough stories about them.
However, I lose interest pretty quickly with this whole will they won't they crap that a lot of stories have with LJ's seventh year (hasn't that already been happening for the past 2+ years???) Just some advice :)
Again, good job!!!
Author's Response: Glad you like it! I think the answer is now permanently yes, they will.

When Regulus Met Lily (or What To Do When Werewolves Attack) by solemnlyswear_x
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 5]
Summary: He’s always thought she was beautiful – in an unbiased, third-party, observer kind of way, of course. It’s not like he spends hours waxing poetic about her eyes or anything, which he suspects is the sort of thing people like James do. Whatever. He has noticed her, though. But so what? It’s not exactly surprising that he thinks she’s pretty. Look, it’s practically a fact at Hogwarts. Just like everyone knows Bertram Aubrey is an annoying prat, everyone knows Lily Evans is beautiful.
Regulus runs into Lily Evans while shopping in Flourish and Blotts.
This is solemnlyswear_x of Gryffindor writing for the Fiction Junction I Challenge Thee Challenge. My prompt was to write a Regulus/Lily story set during the war (but not at Hogwarts); it was set by ron lover.
Let me start by saying that I adore this story, very realistic, and although we don't know very much about Regulus's character from the books, I reckon that you've got him nailed.
I loved seeing these characters (James, Lily, Sirius) from a different perspective, from a Death Eaters eyes. You included a lot of small details that I thought were really clever.
Anyways, great job!

I really liked this. It was so cool to see Ron mature over the years, but you still did a great job at keeping the same voice throughout. Really, really well done.
