Summary: [He] walked a little taller that day. We had to tip our hats to him. He was lucky she hadn't beat the crap out of him. We wouldn't have blamed her. What he'd done was sneaky, rotten and low... and cool. Not another one among us would've ever in a million years... even for a million dollars had the guts to put the move on the lifeguard. He did. He had kissed a woman, and he had kissed her long and good. - The Sandlot
awesome. you're a really talented writer, and a good sense of humor to go along with it. i really enjoyed this one!! =D
Summary: In the aftermath of the Hogwarts’ battle, Draco Malfoy is interned at Godric’s Hollow under the vigilant eye of Ginny Weasley. While Harry and the Order convene to decide on Draco’s fate, an unlikely bond is formed between captor and captive.
hi it's annie magus again, and i had to write again to say that you have completely CONVERTED me into being a draco/ginny shipper!! i've decided you are SO right about ginny just liking him for his fame. I mean, they barely even talked for years!! harry didn't even think about her except for his best friend's sister. i really do believe, that even though draco was just a nasty little kid when he was little, he was definetely changed after the seventh book, and he changed even more after really meeting ginny. i think i was such a stick in the mud about harry/ginny because i just thought maybe harry deserved a little better when she dumped him?? whatever, i liked how you ended this anyway, and really, you are seriously a talented writer!!
Author's Response: I seriously have a huge grin on my face right now. :D There is no greater compliment than to be told that your story/writing has converted a hardcore Harry/Ginny (or Draco/Hermione) into a D/G shipper. Seriously, that is a wonderful compliment, and you have made my day - especially since your review is so well-thought out. Thank you so much. And if you ever want to be introduced to some seriously awesome D/G fics and authors, I can hook you up. ;)
I don't know... I LOVE your writing style and creativity (Seriously, you're awesome, I will never look at Draco and Ginny the same ever again.), but in the book, Harry and Ginny are perfect for each other, because even though he didn't feel the same way for years when they were kids, She didn't see him for almost a year while she was at Evil Hogwarts and he couldn't tell her what he was doing, even though he was off with Ron and Hermione all the time without her, even though he broke up with her at the end of the sixth book, the point is, no matter how long they were apart, or whatever happened, she still loved him, and he still loved her. Sorry to rat on you though. But, about the Draco changing idea, I think that solitary confinement -or may I say it- LOVE- can change a totally prideful, snobby, arrogant IDIOT Malfoy was. I also liked the touch about Ginny like being called Ginevra, but I thought it was Ginerva, you know like King Arthur's girlfriend who left him for Lancelot?
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I know Harry/Ginny shippers can't stand Ginny with anyone but Harry, so I appreciate you reading and reviewing this. ^_^ In my opinion, JKR didn't solidify Harry and Ginny's romance. All she really did was tell us that they'd be together. There's no real interaction. Harry just wakes up one day and recognises that Ginny's hot. Now, I'm not going to argue the whole who is meant for who, but I will say that in the situation I presented and given Ginny's temperament, I could totally see her getting seriously upset with Harry for abandoning her. Harry, God love the boy, is just so clueless when it comes to women. It's not his fault. He grew up without a father figure or a strong male role model in his life. He had Sirius briefly in his life, but Sirius was never around long enough to give advice, and for a man never in a relationship, what could he have to offer? I can believe that Harry and Ginny got together in the end if they had both dated other people, took a break from one another and discovered a true love for each other, years later. Their love, in school, just seems superficial: Ginny loving Harry because he's a hero, the Chosen One, and Harry loving Ginny because she's pretty. It just seems more like infatuation at this point.
Hmm, that went on longer than I had expected. Heh. But, again, thanks for reading, and I very much hear and understand your point of view. ^^
Oh, and it was Queen Guinevere who was married to King Arthur and had an affair with Sir Lancelot. Is Arthur Harry and Lancelot Draco? Hmm...well, Draco isn't really much of a hero. Heheh.

Summary: “Muggle women wear them, Archie, not the men, they wear this.”
Remember ol’ Archie from GOF? Well, now you’ll know why he refused to give up his flowery gown for a pair of trousers.

oh. my. god. you are HILARIOUS!! But, im sorry Theobald died, what happened? Could he no longer stand the scratching? ;-D
Author's Response: Hahaha! That's quite possible. I was thinking it was more due to old age, but your interpretation is smack on. ;)
