Hello to all muggles, muggle-borns, half-blood and pureblood witches/wizards!
Before I make a long, tiring speech about myself, I need a name for you guys to call me with, for my penname is quite hard to pronounce (LeeMH stands for a Korean actors' name^^).
I guess you can call me Aerith, though it isn't my real name (I don't like giving personal infos).
I must tell you that I'm not really excellent in English Language subject; maybe back at primary school I was, but not today. And I'm not either American or British or any else so English is not my first language.
But anybody who would kindly and politely correct my wrong grammars or anything, I would very much appreciate it! =D Any advise about how to write a good essay would be a great help ;)
So....I like to read Harry Potter novels (of course) and I haven't read the Half-Blood Prince and Order of Phoenix. ='( Having all seven sets of Harry Potter novels always been my biggest dream.
Oh, I also read Lemony Snicket's book 'Series of Unfortunate Events'. And those are the only English novels I've read so far. I know, quite a few right? Pathetic I am.
I'd once tried to read Twilight novel and quickly gave up. After I managed to read till page 38 did I handed it over back to my friend. If there's Twilight fans here, no offense and forgive me for saying this, but I'd found no interest at all towards both Twilight novels and their movies, and I can't figure out why everyone else does =/
Anyways, I'm interested in fantasy, adventure, and magic-regarding which--at the same time romance-involving--novels. So if you guys know such books besides Harry Potter, please let me know =)
Oh! And I also admired JK Rowling SO MUCH! I mean, who wouldn't?
Let's see, I ship:
I love and fall deep in love towards Dramione! At first, I never even crossed my mind to think such couple, but when my friend first mentioned about it (through a dramione fan fic she made) I was CRAZY about it and felt as though a light finally shone in my life! I almost searched the whole internet only under the topic 'Dramione'. I'd spent half my life imagining Draco and Hermione together and the other half whining that it would've been better if JK Rowling made Draco and Hermione ending up together. I know most of you guys would say 'It's just not logical' or whatsoever, but I could find their way through the Half-Blood Prince novel which I may or may not make a fan fiction about it...still, Ron/Hermione weren't that bad either. BUT if I was to choose between them, Draco/Hermione would go first! ;D
Now, to be honest, I've only read Dramione fanfics so far and had no intention to read other couples, especially when Draco or Hermione was paired with other characters; STILL, if I'm in a very good mood someday, I may travel here again but to the other couples' fanfics, so I'm looking forward for those who could, if possible, challenge my taste *wide smirk*
I must say, I'm quite thick on defending Dramione, but who knows? I'd be joyful to find one who could cross my Dramione wall ;D
Long live Slytherin !!!
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)
I can't believe you haven't updated for four years! Leaving us with those four damn words: 'And then something happened.' WHAT????? I boiled up after I found out the last time you've updated..why did you left it like this?? C'mon, we're waiting; your FANS are waiting! If you needed support, there's always a big one from us! Remember, we'll always be there for you...so pleeeeeeeeaaassseeee updateee *sniff*sniff
It seems there are still some of you who didn't know about it, but Sparx had been updating her story at harrpotterfanfiction.com and it's recent! Sparx's last update is only Dec last year, and she's now up to chapter 5 (she had to go slow) but she said in a review (yes, she REVIEWED) that chapter 39 IS written and will be updated soon (oh, well, something along those lines). So what're yo waitin' for? Search up for the site below! ;D
I hope this lightens your mood. I found this first from previous reviews, though =) So spread the news !
To mugglenetbabe :
Its okay =) I dont think u'll have to wait till ure 19 this time. look at reviews below, and Sparx even give reviews ^^
Summary: Ron calls Hermione a Mudblood right before she has to go to a Heads meeting with McGonagall and the Head Boy, Draco Malfoy. Then, when she goes to find her friends she stumbles upon a secret Death Eater meeting.
it would've been more entertaining and enjoying if you make it longer; also mentioning why and when Draco starts to fall in love with Hermione..yet it still nice! good job^^
Oh! and one more thing: i like the way u relate yourself into the story; i meant by using 1st person. I never used to like such stories (for example Twilight; sorry if you're a fan) but this moves me^^ I mean, anybody who reads it can imagine themselves as Hermione and explores the wizarding world, right? =)
Summary: In the years following Voldemort's victory in the second war, Muggle-borns must become slaves and servants to pure-bloods in order to survive. Over time, Hermione Granger has learned to suppress her pride and independence in households where she is considered lower than dirt. She thought she would be prepared for this new family, just like she was for all the previous ones. What she didn't know was that this new family was none other than Draco Malfoy's. Will she manage hold up when she finds herself struggling to withhold her sharp tongue, returning hatred, and...something else?
The last chapter of this story has been posted! Thanks for reading :)
Thank you to everyone who voted "The Sweetest Sin" as the Best Tearjerker in round 4 of the Dramione Awards!
Thanks to some of my amazing readers, The Sweetest Sin has been/is being translated into seven languages: French, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Czech, Latvian, and Chinese. If you would like the links to any of the translations, please e-mail me or leave a review :)
wow... It was awesome =) despite the fact that Draco died, REALLY died, -- where i was greatly hoping he would pop up from nowhere and approach Hermione when i only had read half of the chapter -- it was good! N the endings are really touchy! Now i know why JK Rowling never want Voldemort gets the victory, it was...horrible; under his rule. But if it can, by any non-violent ways, put Draco and Hermione together, im in =)
Other than that, GREAT JOB! Well plotted and nice story lines! I'm looking forward to read your other fanfics and i hope one day u'll be one of the greatest authors the world ever had ;)
Btw, to bcakez: u really make sense there! Especially the part that Hermione's real personality was that she wouldn't left Draco alone. I mean, it's true! And u sounded so professional. And and, if u have fanfics, I cant wait to read it too =)
Summary: A one shot.
Number Twelve Grimmauld Place is full this summer, between Arthur, Molly, Remus, Bill, Fleur, Fred, George, Charlie, Ron, Ginny, Harry, Hermione, and none other than Draco Malfoy.
Aaaaah! so sweeeeeeeeeeet! i love it soooooooooooooooooo much! if u ever make it longer, it wouldve been excellent! But this's awesome too! =D
Summary: Not all Voldemort’s victims were on the side of right.
Over a year has passed since the Battle of Hogwarts. Families grieve, but their dead are remembered with honour.
For Draco Malfoy it has been a year of nothing. Merely existing, he is bound tightly to his past as if enveloped in a shroud, unwilling to accept help. It takes a chance encounter on a cobbled street to jerk him into the realisation that he cannot go on like this. A chance encounter with the one person who has most cause to hate him.
But shrouds, however tightly bound, unravel.
A huge thank you to Natalie (hestiajones) who put her laminated canon card in jeopardy by beta'ing this fic and being very supportive all the way through.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. Her lawyers agree, so please don't mistake us. I just like taking the odd liberty (ahem) with her characters (and pairings)
Nominated for two QSQ's in Best Non-Canon Romance and also Best Post Hogwarts story for 2011. Thank you.
sorry to say this...but man! you made me cursed aloud! I was furious with the ending. no offense..but I completely don't ship any Ron/Hermione pairing, AT ALL. And I was so excited for the first few chapters! But it went downhill after that...I could've cried in the end if I wasn't so angry with it, and I pitied Draco =( for my opinion, he was as though being used by Hermione just so she could gain her own happiness again, but sure, she did helped Draco in the end ^^
Seriously...you should've listed Ron/Hermione too in the pairing section...that way I'll know what's in store...
But hey, on the bright side, you really made a great story! I loved the way u wrote, and to be honest, sometimes it confuses me..but you really did well! I mean, I myself wouldn't be able to do such nice writing, so who am I to judge -.-' I liked it especially when you used all those rare or complicated words..and I just LOVE the way Draco confessed to Hermione how regret he is for his mistakes and such. You had barely changed any facts from the original story, and you're really blending it! I'm just...wow O.O Ha ha, great job all the way. keep it up!
P.S. i hope you don't consider me as rude...and pardon if my English was bad..still learning ^^ that's all, thank you!
Author's Response: Glad you liked the beginning of the story, if not the end. basically, I really don;t think it at all plausible from what we know in canon that hermione and Draco could work long term. They would have to give up far too much to be together. Could Hermione ever give up her friends? Could Draco ever betray his mother? Um ... not in my opinion. Unless someone is writing disregarding from book 6 onwards then it's not really plausible - sorry, that's the way it rolls with me.
Regarding the pairings. If I'd added Ron/Hermione then that would give the end away and the main pairing in this is Draco/Hermione.
You're right Hermione was using Draco. he knew that and I think he was using her, too. he needed redemption, she needed closure - they helped - or used - each other.
I generally don;t deviate much from canon, I like writing JKs world and tweaking things a bit.
Thank you for the review. I appreciate it ~Carole~
