Summary: Sequel to "An Aversion to Change."
It's Voldemort's world now: a world of corruption, betrayal, greed, and violence. A world of evil thoughts and evil deeds, where no one can be trusted, especially those closest to you.
But through it all, there must be strength. There must exist those who will stand up to totalitarian rule, who will say no when others submit, who must survive despite their condition. There must exist the resilient.
Eventual Draco/Hermione with plenty of plot. Very dark, so read at your own risk!
how could you leave us with such a suspenseful ending!?????? No need to rush but please hurry for the next chapter I am eager to find out what will happen to Hermione. Your story is very well done and I hope that you will continue to write a thrilling ending to it :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The ending is pretty thrilling, I think, and I can't wait for you all to read it!
I can't believe he sold her! However, I suppose she is better off at Dragon's Keep, temporarily. Why must you leave us on the edge waiting for the bridge to the next chapter to appear?? But my Gosh! You're back, YAY!! Please write again soon. I'm dying to know what Hermione's part of :)
Author's Response: I know, I'm evil. But cliffhangers are just so much fun! For me! Hahah. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!
Summary: Hermione knows Draco Malfoy - he is arrogant, mean and has been nothing but hurtful towards her ever since the first time they met. Called to testify at his trial, however, she sees something other than hatred in the face of her old nemesis and begins to wonder if there is something she has been missing all along.
I believe that it was a little too short. I agree with some of the other reviewers that some dialogue in the beginning between Hermione and another character would have been helpful. I'm not saying that I didn't like your fic, for it was entertaining. I absolutely love the ending and how it suddenly took a change to show the side of Draco that we all know. So what does this mean for Ron and Hermione? I'm curious to know what happens next, please keep writing :)
Author's Response: At the moment, it's just a one-shot, but since a lot of the reviewers so far have asked for more, I may have to develop it. If I do, I'll certainly take your suggestion for needing more dialogue in order to better show Hermione's character.
As for what this means for Ron and Hermione, I'll leave that for you to decide...for now.
