I love the Harry Potter books and characters. I greatly enjoy writing, but I often find myself getting upset when characters in fanfiction divert from the original dispositions of the true characters. I wish to make my writings as close to the canon characterization as possible.
Summary: On the day of Draco's wedding, Pansy wonders why Draco chose Astoria over her.
This will be very good for me, since I'm writing about how Astoria and Draco fell in love. I hate Pansy, but I did initially wonder why Draco decided against her when they seemed to be so together throughout the books. It just goes to show that almost nothing is ever simple!
"So many people say that they were pushed off that cliff; that they fell, or never saw it coming. I've been sitting here my entire life, taking pictures of the rocks I could hit on the way down. I suppose it's always been a choice and I've just been teetering here, waiting to decide. Turn around or jump?"
[dark one shot feat. Draco Malfoy]
This is excellent. It's hard for me to even put what I mean into proper words, but you make everything about this fic raw and tangible without overcomplicating it. I loved it, absolutely loved it!
Author's Response: I suppose it's every writer's dream to be able to convey raw emotions through their words, and also every writer's dream to leave their readers speechless. Thank you so much for the review, it means a lot to me =D
