A Little About Me
My name is Katrina. I like to spend my time reading, writing fanfics and listening to music. I'm an avid reader, and I'm obsessed with Harry Potter. My favourite genres for books are : Mystery, Adventure, Fantasy and Sci-fi. My favourite fanfiction genres are: General, Romance and Angst.
I love writing and I think writing fanfics makes me happy. Till now I've posted two one shots and I'd really love to write some more.
My OTP is H/G and R/T(though it's one true pairing but I'm confused and can't pick one). I basically ship all other canon pairings, especially R/Hr and J/L.
I post at SIYE under the penname sugarquill112.

The Last Wand by dua
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 8]
Summary: While trying to find the right wand for Luna, Mr Ollivander remembers his eccentric father, seven unusual wands, and the wizards who bought them.
This story won second prize in Sycophant Hex's Spring Faire Festival.
Interesting story. Luna is one of my favourite characters. It was nice to read a Luna centric story. Really well written!
Author's Response: Thank you. (Sorry this is so late - I've only just noticed the 'Respond' button.)

A good start. You're only thiteen but you write quite well. And one thing I would suggest is to get a BETA reader. It always helps to have someone look over your story for mistakes. Keep writing. :)
Author's Response: Thanx!! You are my first reviewer and i am really grateful. I have put myself up for a BETA reader. Thankyou for your comment on my writing! Thankyou. :-)
Not Our War by snufflesismyidol
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 7]
Summary: A series of letters between Daniel and Chloe during the first world war. Thanks to my betas! This story is for anyone interested in the war like me. I hope every word is in English, I learn History in French. Part one is the first 2 years, and part two is the last 2 years.
Very good ending. I liked the last letter very much. It was sweet and you made me feel for poor little John. I would also like to add that I found the plot/idea very interesting and rare. Especially because I'm interested in Historical things and wars. :)

Aww...I liked this chapter as much as the first. OK, so let me stop being so sugary sweet. I just wanted to say that both the beginning and the ending were really good. And a question - is the last part a cliffie? Update soon.
Fighting Without Hope by WonderfulWeasley
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 3]
Summary: It's been two years since the end of seventh year, and things couldn't be grimmer. Despite it all, Ron pushes on, and shows the sidekick is a hero too. I have this on another fanfiction site under the pen name lilmissweasley. *Contains HBP spoilers*
Wonderful, Weasley! That was a very original story. You managed to keep the dark/angsty-ness. And you made me feel for Ron too. The ending was a bit sad but that's angst. :)
Author's Response: Yay, my first review! Hehe. Thanks so much.
Christmas Sweet by Kerichi

Summary:
It was hard acting jolly when he was in a bit of a nark, but George Weasley pulled it off...Without a date for Fred and Angelina's engagement party, George asks Alicia Spinnet and sees his old mate in a new light.
I really enjoyed reading this. I especially liked your choice of 'celebration'. I'm glad you wrote about this pairing. I think I've read it before at SU. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: You could've read it at FF too, ^_~. The story being posted, being read is the satisfying, cake part, but reviews are the icing, so thanks for being sweet and reviewing!
Once in a Blue Moon by Kerichi
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 301]
Summary: Tonks is rich in family and friends, but the wages of a new Auror keep her short of funds. A side job brings something into her life money can't buy.
*Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance- Canon.*
I'm back again. The second chapter was as good as the first. I want to read it more and more. For my previous review, I know about the timeline. I've been following this at SU for a long time. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: I checked email between making fudge and deviling eggs, and your review made me even more thankful this Thanksgiving! Yay for you following this at SU and reviewing here. I'm doubly grateful. ^_^
I really enjoyed it. The title of the story and the chapter are nicely done. They're very original and not like the usual titles. I really like them.
I was just wondering since it's Pre-HBP, may be you should add an AU warning. You don't really have to, the story is great anyway.
Author's Response: You inspired me to edit my author's note on the first chapter! Inserted now is... This story runs parallel to canon, but its the canon of GoF. Since the books don't tell us when the couple met, I chose this time and place in their lives, If in OotP, it was stated that Tonks and Remus had just met, then the fic would be AU, but since Jo didn't say, happily it's not! GoF references are sprinkled through, so if you remember your timeline, you'll know when things get Sirius! ^_~
Author's Response: Forgot to add, in HBP, Remus saying 'too old, poor, and dangerous' can be taken two ways. I choose to believe they were a couple and he broke things off when she wanted marriage and he became afraid for the future, for possible children.
Yay! So you've finally finished it. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed for so many days but I just had review for the last chapter. I've enjoyed reading this fic so much. It's very different from all other fics. I know I've said it before but I really mean it. Looking forward to the sequel. :)
Author's Response: Hey, I'm psyched that you reviewed whenever you had the chance. Holidays are so hectic, on top of the normal chaos of life, I really am glad you got back to R&R. Thanks for looking forward to the sequel! ^_^
Hey there! I'm here to make your day again! You're right, reviews do make your day. :)
Well this is another good chapter. I love how you portray the interaction between Remus and Tonks . Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: I'm happy when people read, but joyful when they review, so I 'do unto others' too! Thanks for making my day shinier!
Coping by social loner

Summary: Three years after Voldemort’s final defeat, Hermione finally realizes that it’s time to move on with her life, even though it means going back to her pain stricken past. Knowing she can’t do it alone, she calls on Harry for support. However, Harry has his own demons that are keeping his life from progressing as well.
Amazing story. It was really touching and you captured the emotions really well. I think the characterisation was very good as well.
Keep up the good work!
