Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Wow, this chapter was so hilarious! It's my favorite so far. I loved seeing a drunken Hermione, and you did a very good job of keeping her in character. If she had ever gotten drunk in the books, I could imagine her acting like this. Great job!
I love this chapter! The scene when they were in bed was very sweet. And the ending when Draco protected Hermione with his body was sweet as well. In most of the fan fics I've read, the characters always seem to go OoC during romantic/sweet scenes, but that isn't the case with your writing(or maybe it's just been too long since I read the actual books=P) Anyway, great job! =D
In which Remus must accustom himself to Sirius's constant coming and goings.
Many thanks to Vindictus Viridian for the repeated beta-ing on this!
This story is really sweet! The format you used is very similar to the writing used in Japanese novels, if you have any idea what I'm talking about. It's unique. I really liked it. Great job!
At age fifteen, Regulus Black became sole heir to the largest fortune in Wizarding London. At sixteen, his abnormal intelligence won him entry into the most notorious cult of Dark wizards on earth. At seventeen he made a mistake – one that he would never be able to take back – and his entire world came crashing down.
Enter London, 1979. The story of a boy who managed to defy Voldemort at the height of his regime. But what price did he have to pay?
This chapter was so beautifully written. I was shocked when he actually killed the girl, but you captured the moment perfectly. It's extremely realistic. You're a brilliant writer!
