Starting Over is still an active story, but this unfortunately does not mean it will be fluidly updated, just that it will come up with a new chapter whenever I have the time. I am taking my time with each chapter, making sure it's the best work I am capable of within the realm of the Potterverse. I'm conjecturing that this will be my final work of fan fiction for Harry Potter, as I'm growing more of an affinity for my own original stories, using the experience I've gained from my work on here and other fan fiction sites.
Again, I do want to say how sorry I am that I did not complete In Nomine Amoris to its end. I could tell you how it was going to end, though I doubt it matters to anyone at this point, moved by Deathly Hallows as we were. I also doubt that anyone is going to read this profile information, but oh, well. It's here, just in case.
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.
* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *
(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)
Absolutely lovely. I DID catch the Princess Bride quotes/names. You incorporated them wonderfully, in my humble opinion.
Author's Response: IMHO, your humble opinion should be exalted and thrown rose petals. :D
I'm so behind in this story! I don't know how I'm going to catch up... I will, though--eventually. Very busy time of year (academically)! So, this was a good chapter; the heartbreak of Blaise was particularly well-done, I think. And I love Luna in this chapter. She was lucid, but in a believable way.
Author's Response: I feel your pain about being busy and I\'m thrilled you take time to read whenever you can! Luna isn\'t in Ravenclaw because they didn\'t know where else to put her, lol. She\'s very smart...in her unique way! ;)
HAHA! Classic. Tres bien.
Wow--Dumbledore Prince, you're not only a fantastic reviewer, but also a magnificent writer! I find your insinuations concerning Snape's character very believable. To think, that he might be on neither side...it's very good idea, and you played out the pieces perfectly. Congratulations on a job well done!
Author's Response: Hi, Christine! Thanks for the appreciative review!
So, I'm assuming that's the Ravenclaw Horcrux? Tres bien--this fic had me intrigued.
Author's Response: Yes, Christine, that\'s the Ravenclaw Horcrux. :) Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: er...thanks xx
Oh Merlin, the torture!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Lol... don\'t worry. I *do* have a plan!
Yes, if only.... hoping it'll all pan out soon, 'cause this whole no-one-knowing-about-Ginny-being-pregnant thing is torture!!
Author's Response: Muahaha. But then where would the suspense be?? Thanks for the review (:
I loved "The Awakening," and this is great as well. It's believeable how you write it--incredibly well-written. I confess that I haven't read many Draco/Ginny fics in the past (though I'm writing one myself), but I find yours exceptionally interesting.
Author's Response: Oh, cool, I\'m glad you liked this too! Trust me, it takes me a long time to plan out these Draco/Ginny fics so that they are realistic, and it makes me very pleased to hear that you think it\'s so believable. Actually, I haven\'t read that many Draco/Ginny fics either, but I hope that just makes mine more original. Thanks very much for reviewing, and I will keep an eye out for your Draco/Ginny fic. Good luck with it!
Oh, I want to hug Ginny! It'll all be okay! Loving the fic... Hope she talks to Draco soon.
Author's Response: Haha, she does need a hug... you\'ll see what happens sometimes soon. Thank you for reviewing, as usual :D
Oh Lord, this is going to get interesting...
Author's Response: :D Thank you for reviewing.
It's great, and I want more!
Author's Response: Thanks for leaving a review! The next chapter should be up any time now, it\'s in the queue.
It's great, and I want more!
Author's Response: :D
Once upon a time in the far, far, away land of California, Miranda Aramintha Rowena Ysabella Slyvia Ursula Evangelista- Mary Sue, for short- accepted an invitation to Hogwarts. As she searches for her one true love, will her soul mate be Draco? Harry? Snape? Colin? Fred and George? or...gasp...Voldemort?
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Humour Fiction.
You had me laughing the whole way through! The story was a great commentary on how bogus true Mary Sues can be. This was great!
Author's Response: Thank you, I wanted to laugh instead of grind my teeth, lol, so I\'m glad you feel the same way! :D
Very cute! I enjoyed it.
This is hilarious! I'm dying of laughter!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! (CAPS-LOCK Harry is my favorite. Heehee.)
Author's Response: I\'m glad you though it was so funny. :) Caps lock Harry seems to be the general favourite. I like him too. Thank you so much!
After her first kiss with Ron, Hermione asks Ginny for advice. What follows is a lesson in the things we do for love.
This three part story was written pre-HBP, when the future looked, if not exactly rosy, at least not that dreadful shade of Lavender that coloured the Potterverse in the sixth book.
* Rated for snogging ^_~*
Very cute, left me wanting more!
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'ll be more than happy to give it! ^_~
Interesting. I await an update.
I haven't ever read a Remus/Lily story, but I like yours so far!
Author's Response: Thank you! The last two chapters are done and should be comming up soon.
