Harry Potter stories written by fans!

Like most people on this site, I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I began reading the books in 2008 (yes, I know, fairly late), and they instantly became favourites.

I love Next-Gen, because it allows you to do anything with the characters without making O.C.'s, which is really neat. Stories I have ideas for are mostly Next-Gen. I also love Fred and George, Tonks, and Hermione.

My Stories:

Right up thr Road: This was the first fanfiction story I ever wrote, and it was written about a year ago. I only have three chapters up, but I have more written. The problem is that I can see that it lacks a lot of plot. For now, it is on hiatus, until I can come up with a better plot line. If not, then, it may be deleted.

It's All You Need: First one-shot and songfic. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!

Stop Signs: Found the analogy in a book I was reading, and I fell in love with it. Based around the death of Fred, this is such a cute, fluffy tale.

So, for now, I am sticking with one-shots on this site. I have so many one-shot ideas bouncing around, and I just submitted one that I'm very excited about. If you wish to read a chaptered fic of mine, or other one-shots that I may post on MNFF soon, visit my profile on fanfiction.net. My penname over there is Unspeakable53.

Thank you, and have an amazing day!

Thou Shalt Not Suffer by TheWizardsHarry

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: I was eleven years old when I first heard about Hogwarts, but my faith told me everything about that school was evil. This is the story of how I reconciled my religion with the truth about what I am.

Great chapter, although I'm not sure about Michelle reading the Bible because she "has to". You can really tell she's come to an unsure part in her faith!

I Wouldn't Change A Thing by The_Real_Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Brothers were strange creatures.

For as long as Lily can remember, there has been a gap between her and James which she never felt with Albus. When Lily is kidnapped, will James prove her wrong?

A story about the discovery of what family really means.

I'm really enjoying this, and I can't wait for the next chapter! You portray emotions very well. :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, I'm glad you liked it. Hopefully the next chapter will be up soon.

The reaction of James on discovering the news of his missing sister reminds me of Harry's reaction towards Hermione in the Department of Mysteries in OoTP. This short story is really reminding me of that book :) Nice chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing this as well as the first chapter. Yes it is a lot like OotP - that is purposeful because it's showing Harry's (and others') characteristics coming out in the next generation. But I mainly used that situation to explore James and Lily's relationship - they'll be more on that in the last chapter which will hopefully be coming soon. Thanks a lot!!

Juggling by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Lily Evans wasn’t the only Gryffindor with a childhood friend. Whilst she was meeting the boy who would introduce her to the magical world, someone else was learning how to mix with Muggles.

This is not, however, a story about Lily Evans. This is a tale about James Potter and the Muggle girl that he never quite forgot.

This story is for Natalie (hestiajones) who makes me laugh more than most people and has been a very supportive friend, despite our separate continents. Happy Birthday, mate!

I’m indebted to Gina (Gmariam) who kindly offered to beta this short one-shot, and then didn’t complain when it mushroomed into a chaptered fic.

Because of an archive gliitch, this fic has been temporarily put down a rating. the content remains the same and it is still a 6th-7th. You have been warned.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. If I had been, then Sirius, Remus, James, Lily and Tonks would not have died. Peter, however would have died in an icky manner

OMMPP! Juggling won 2 QSQ's for Best Chaptered Marauder and Dita won Best Original Character. Seriously pleased and shocked here. Thank you.

The chapter titles are all from Keane songs.

I really love the Lily/James pairing, but this story is very good. It's weird seeing James liking another girl, and not really wanting to go out with Lily! I love the song too :)

Author's Response: Ah, I love the song too. I was listening to the album while I wrote it. I'm generally a canon shipper, but I'm sure james had a love-life before Lily. Thanks for the review. Carole

My favourite Keane song by FAR :) I really like the way you ended it, and your very convincing with your pairings. I wasn't sure about reading this fic, as I love James/Lily, but you did a great job!

Author's Response: I love James/Lily too, but this was a present for someone (the real life Dita) plus he did end up with Lily in the end. Ah, the Keane song. Yes, I think it's my favourite as well, closely followed by Bedshaped. *sighs at Keame* Thanks for the review. ~Carole~

Forever Entwined by lucca4

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
“Love and hate are such strong words, they also cause so much pain.”

From the first time Rose Weasley saw Scorpius Malfoy on the Hogwarts Express, she knew they were fated to be enemies. At least, that was the plan. But as the years went on, she found that it was easier said than done. The gap between who she was and who her family wanted her to be was always widening. Her life becomes a tangled web of mistakes and regrets as she finds herself drawn to the one boy she was told to hate, until finally she makes a choice. A choice that might have just lost her the only one who had always been there for her…

That Damned Cat by Writ Encore

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Andromeda learns about an unfamilar tradition and gets an unexpected visitor.

Since I carelessly overlooked her in the other post, I’d like to wish Spire a wonderful pagan/ sugar-high festival/ holiday, with the hopes that she enjoys this as much as I loved drafting it. Benny strolled in my head one day, savoured the rat’s tail, and curled up in bed. Cleo Rose is an inside joke.

This is an entry for the SPEW Spooky Swap 2010.

A Nagini and Severus Tale by nagandsev

Definetly an interesting topic.. I dont think I've ever come across something like this before. Your writing skills are very good, and the uniqueness of this story makes me look forward to more!

Author's Response: Leftrightmiddle - thank you so much for reading and leaving a review! Really appreciate it, and that the premise is acceptable/interesting. Will get the next chapters submitted for queuing/posting this week - it's a long fic; 20 chapters or so. Again, thank you for the feedback!

Voldemort has won. Harry Potter has been beaten.

This is what happened to the side who lost.

I have read many stories on the prediction on the outcome if Voldemort won, but making it from Dracos POV made this very interesting. My only suggestion would be next time to use more indirect characterization. I really enoyed this!

Author's Response: Thank you! :) xxx

Nice work; some people are too judgemental of the Dark Side to write about them, so congrats! If I was a witch, I would not stand for anything involved in the Dark Arts or blood purety, but it really is an interesting subject to write about! Very enjoyable!

Author's Response: Thank you! I suppose it's a bit like acting - a lot of actors say they love playing bad guys because it's such a different personality. And I was worried I hadn't pulled that aspect off very well, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I am not a huge Ron/Hermione fan, but this story was very nicely done. I think there was a little bit of grammar problems in Ron's blow up, but other than that.
I always wondered if Hermione could really tolerate Ron; sometimes it seems like he's just too much for her to handle! Very cute little piece :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! :D I appreciate the review.

Great job on this. It was a different plot line, unlike anything I've read, and of course to anyone a little creepy, but you wrote it in such an amazing way. You really captured the emotion "desperation".

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing. It's great to know you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. :)

The words rang clearly, loudly in his mind.

I think of her as a sister.

But did he?

Happy Birthday, Julia! You know you're one of the only two people on earth I'd do this for. :D

Summary: Its the school year after their O.W.Ls and the Marauders are eager to start their N.E.W.Ts. But not all is well. Lord Voldermort and his supporters wreak havoc in the Wizarding World outisde of Hogwarts. It seems there is no place safe, except Hogwarts.

The trouble is, these bonds can be unravelled...

...This is The Turning Point.

Aw, I love the Marauders. I really liked the intro, and it looks to be a fun story! But I do have a little critique for you, if that's okay!

It moves a little fast (i.e. you might want to spend a little more time on your scenes), but other than that it was very entertaining! Keep going!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it, I was a bit worried if I'm honest. Critique is always welcome, don't worry! Now you've said that about me moving too fast, I can see what you mean. I'll try to improve on this! Thanks again for reading my Marauders story, I hope you carry on reading when I post other chapters! :)
