Our Little Secret by Kerichi
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 416]
Summary:
It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn't a hag, and Scorpius didn't expect to call in the favour.
*Winner of the 2010 Next Generation QSQ award*
I was enjoying the story. Very unhappy about the George/Angelina divorce. Love the Scorpious/Rose. But kind of more Lucious/hermione then Draco/Hermione kind of yucky
Author's Response:
I'm sorry you're unhappy! I'll be honest, I thought about not mentioning the divorce, but anyone who's read my George/Alicia post DH story For Bitter or for Worse (started before Jo unveiled the family tree, and winner of the Quicksilver Quill award for best Dark/Angsty Fic) knows why I think pairing George and Angelina was unhealthy and doomed, and if I hadn't brought it up, I wouldn't have been true to my view of the Potterverse. I didn't go against canon and say they never married. I just have them divorcing. It's regretable, but true, that divorce happens even in "nice" families like the Weasleys.
It doesn't impact the rest of the plot, so if you read on, you'll love Scorpius and Rose almost as much as they love each other by the end of the story!
When Worlds Die by MagEd
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 20]
Summary: In any man who dies there dies with him,
his first snow and kiss and fight . . .
Not people die but worlds die in them
~Yevgeny Yevtushenko, "People"
His twin is dead, and as far as George can see, the whole world might as well have died, too. In other words, this is the story of how George Weasley grieved in seven steps. *one-shot*
I liked this story a lot. It is one of the more realistic versions of what george would have gone through. Very moving.
Author's Response: Thanks! I know this has been done many times before, so I consider it high praise that you thought it was one of the more realistic :)
Nymphadora Tonks and the Dead Parrot by OliveOil_Med
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 4]
Summary: When Nymphadora Tonks accompanied Arthur Weasley to a London pet shop as an Auror escort for an official Ministry investigation, she imagined them being in and out with very little fuss.
She was very wrong.
Yet another Monty Python-inspired Christmas gift for Tim the Enchanter.
So so funny
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it!
