I'm a HUGE fan of Harry Potter, and don't expect me to get stories done really fast, since I have a lot of homework, have music on weekends, and get home really late! I enjoy editing photos of people I don't like so that they are absolutely hideous. I am a proud Ravenclaw.
I am thinking up ideas for more fics to write, and here are some ideas: Potter Tales: Classic fairy tales with a Potter twist!
Rachel: The secret of the seven husbands of Rachel Zabini.
The Life of the (Not-So-) Evil Tom Riddle: Tom Riddle had insane ancestors and grew up unloved. What else could he do but turn to the Dark Arts?
All Because of a Grape: Grape. Such a small word, Luna Lovegood never thought it could cause so much trouble.
Tell me what you think of these!
Other than that, I LOVE cats. One more thing: I'm a TOTAL Gleek!!!!!!! Go Kurt!

When Worlds Collide by jenny b
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 254]
Summary:
Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.
Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.
So sad! Also kind of a bittersweet moment. This is still my favorite story EVER!!!!!
That's so so so so sad, even though she was mean and horrible to everyone, she's still Scorpius's mom!!! I love the Monopoly thing, though.
Wow! Is she mad at him or does she think it'll be best? Guess we'll have to wait to find out! Oh, and congrats on becoming a mod!
Wow! This was an amazing story! I hope you do more like it, because When Worlds Collide is one of the best stories I've read.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm already writing another fic, and have another Rose/Scorpius planned for the future. Thanks so much, dear. Jen x
Just For Fun by PeaceLovePotter
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 55]
Summary:
When most of your teenage years are spent defeating dark wizards, or saving loved ones there’s not a lot of time to party. But if you’re Ginny Weasley there’s always a way, or a scheming plan. So for one glorious night, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny are breaking all the rules. Beware this story includes best friends, crazy clubs, deserted beaches, margaritas, a horny hotel clerk, confused feelings and massive amounts of wild, outrageous fun!
This is my take on what should have happened between the summer before Harry’s (nonexistent) seventh year. It takes place on couple of nights before the wedding. So there is some AU, obviously being that they didn’t go out partying before Bill and Fleur’s wedding. But otherwise it flows with the series.
IT HAS BEEN A YEAR THREE MONTHS AND EIGHT DAYS SINCE YOU HAVE UPDATED THIS!!!!! THIS STORY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE IT!!!!
Wow, this is really amazing! I'm writing my first fanfiction myself and am wondering how you get a beta. Please tell me!

Muggles, Magic and Misconceptions by Equinox Chick

But how can they help when Teddy runs home in an uncharacteristic rage after playing with Muggle friends in the park?
This is Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff writing for the Halloween Challenge, Halloween Explained prompt in the Great Hall Challenge.
Thank you to Emma (Amortentia x) for beta'ing this story.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I doubt that surprises you.
Claimer: I am, like Ted Tonks, a fan of Tottenham Hotspur.
This is really cool, it shows two lesser known/mentioned characters, and I love your style of writing.
Author's Response: Thank you very much and I'm glad you enjoyed the story. ~Carole~

The Bacchus Book by Equinox Chick
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 30]
Summary:
On the morning of Christmas Day, 2000, Hermione Granger (soon-to-be-Weasley) wakes up from a delightful dream to find herself in a bathroom at Grimmauld Place.
As various Weasleys queue up to tell her all about her behaviour the night before at Aunt Muriel's birthday party, Hermione is in a state of shock.
She knows she didn't drink anything stronger than Butterbeer. So why was she wearing a toga and teaching everyone how to perform Greek dancing?
And what, in the name of Merlin, was she doing with George?
This is Equinox Chick and this is my entry for the extra credit challenge 'In Vino Veritas' for the Winter Snows 09 competition over at the MNFF beta boards.
Thank you to Apurva for beta'ing this tale in time. Thanks also to various people on AIM for telling me to get on with this (Jess, Natalie, Hannah, Russia, Kara, BB)
Disclaimer: I'm not JK Rowling. She would never have written anything quite so daft.
Claimer: I have disgraced myself wearing a toga before now.
This story is HILARIOUS!!! This is the third of your stories I have read, and it is AMAZING!!! Fifteen thumbs up!
Author's Response: OHHHH! Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. It's actually on audiofics as well. I had a great time writing and recording it, but I feel a bit sorry for old 'Caramac Cloggan' Merlin knows what Ron will do to him. ~Carole~
The Gryffindor Gang by U-No-Poo
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 48]
Summary: Five students - Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, Claudia Kelaney and Adam Finnigan. Five different stories. One house - Gryffindor.
Join The Gryffindor Gang, five unlikely best friends, as they enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as first year students. Throughout the year, they must overcome their own personal battles. Albus just doesn't seem to get out of his father's spotlight - will people treat him like himself, or as Harry Potter's son? Scorpius is dealing with his family too - being a Malfoy in Gryffindor isn't exactly peachy for him. Claudia's started slowly adjusting to the wizarding world, but will her sneaky, horrible roommate cause Rose and Claudia big trouble? And Adam's just not having the perfect start to Hogwarts that he'd have liked.
These are all trying problems when you're eleven years old. But their real test happens when danger is thrown into all five of their lives, threatening them all. Will they be able to face their biggest battle yet, and live to tell the tale?
This is Part One in The Gryffindor Gang Trilogy.
This is chapter is so cool! I love this whole story and your banner for it on the forums!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks! I absolutely adore the banner as well; Annalise is the best bannermaker in the world! (actually, she lives an hour away from me, funny story there). She's actually modifying it for me as we speak. Have you noticed the Love, Friendship and Other Things I Fail At banner? It's truly awesome looking by Minna.
How could you kill Katie? I know she's not a major character (in the HPs or this story), but she's still awesome!
Author's Response: Haha, because I'm evil and I enjoying killing the good characters! Thanks for reviewing!
Wow! Not exactly canon.... But who cares? Nice twist!
Author's Response: Two review responses in one:
1. I killed Katie because she's simply a minor character, and I needed to kill off a minor character. She'll have a mention or two during the trilogy. It was either her or Oliver Wood that I was going to kill, and I simply couldn't have that!
2. I'm not exactly sure if it's considered AU or just fanfiction licence, but normally I do stick to canon! I just had to make Ginny pregnant though! Watch out for the next chapter - more baby talk! It's in the queue as we speak :)

Behind the Curtain by Virgil
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 25]
Summary:
“…he fell through the ancient doorway and disappeared behind the veil, which fluttered for a moment as though in a high wind and then fell back into place… Sirius must be just behind the curtain…”
Sirius Black didn’t die when he fell through the veil in the Department of Mysteries. He was transported to another world: our world, where Hogwarts doesn’t exist and magic lives only in the fantasy books. As Sirius tries to understand this strange new world and find his way home, he runs into some unlikely old friends. Nothing is the same behind the curtain.
Cool story! Wait- *check end notes* did you say there's only one more chapter?
Author's Response: Yes, indeed. Originally there was going to be one more chapter and then an epilogue, but the epilogue was way too short so I'm just going to tag it onto the end. :) Peace, Virgil
The Happy Couple by Equinox Chick
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 18]
Summary: Romilda Vane is a young reporter for The Daily Prophet. Currently writing a popular column for the Social pages, she is outraged when the highlight of the social calender - the wedding of Harry James Potter to Ginevra Molly Weasley - is given to Lavender Brown to write.
Lavender isn't happy either, for their boss (He-Who-Pays-Our-Wages) has threatened to assign her to the Cookery section unless she dishes the dirt on her friends.
She readily agrees to Romilda taking on the assignment for what could the Saviour of the Wizarding World possibly have to hide?
This is Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff and this is my entry for The Weddings Challenge in The Great Hall. I chose prompt 3 - The Daily Prophet Report.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I think you all know that.
Thank you very much to Samarie (Hopeful_Song) for beta'ing this story for me, and giving me some excellent advice.
The Sexual Sitiuations are really very mild, and merely implied.
I don't really get this story....... But it's good!
Author's Response: I've left it deliberately ambiguous because sometimes I think the reader should put their own ideas into the story. I have a definite idea about what happened between Dean and Ginny ... and when. I haven't written that because, well, as I said, I want to leave it open ended. I'm glad ytou enjoyed the story, so if you want a more detailed explanation or would like to let me know which particular bits you didn't get, then I don't mind if you want to PM me. Thanks for the review ~Carole~
