I love sports, ice cream, nutella, and J.K. Rowling. Without any of the above, I don't think I could function properly :). I am an addict to fan fiction, almost to a fault...my favorite stories to read are romances, preferably with James and Lily....something about them, just gets me every time. I don't like AUs or dark fics, they usually confuse or depress me, but basically, any fiction that is well written appeals to me
Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.
I really, really love this story, I think it's great! Although, I feel that Lily as a rule-enforcing student is a little overdone. Besides the strip quiddich, I think she had only nagged, and so it is kind of hard to imagine that she finally said yes to James. Not a big issue for me, I still really like the story!
Summary: As a trio of students races against time to protect the Philosopher’s Stone from Lord Voldemort, Nicholas Flamel has a startling dream which reveals a bleak future should they fail. Faced with a grim decision, Nicholas returns to Hogwarts to speak with his old friend, Albus Dumbledore, and determine the fate of the Wizarding world.
Written for the New Year’s Challenge, Prompt Two – Dreams, by Gmariam of Ravenclaw.
A very intriguing read. I enjoyed it a lot. The best part of the story was Flamel and Dumbledore's conversation - I felt the dream dragged on a little. But overall, a very well-written and engaging story to read. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! Wow, this story has not been read for a while. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to agree the dream dragged, but I wanted it to have a very specific form - a parallel to when Harry goes after the Stone - and worked hard to stick with it. I'm glad the rest of it was more engaging, especially the end. I think Dumbledore and Flamel would have made very interesting partners to read about! Thanks again! ~Gina :)
Summary: Chapter Ninety Six is posted!
This is the story of four boys. This is the story of a boy from a family he wants to escape from. This is the story of a boy who is from a family he loves deeply, but lacks the gift of a best friend. This is the story of a boy who has been living with a curse his entire life, fighting to overcome it. This is the story of a boy who wishes to show people what he can do. This is the story of how these four boys came to know each other, of how they became friends. This is the story of their unbreakable bond, of a bond that could survive any test, any trial. This is a story that will ultimately end in tragedy.
Nominated for a 2007 and 2009 Quicksilver Quill Award - Best Marauder's Era Featured Mugglenet Fanfiction, October 2011
Wow. I cant believe you wrote ALL that. Actually, I cant believe i read all that! But it didn't seem too long when I was reading! EXTREMELY well done, I even teared up a bit at the end there. Outstanding! I wish there had been a bit more Lily and James, but what can you do. After this, I really really hate Peter Pettigrew....oh! And I couldn't believe it when you mentioned Teddy at the very end!! Great ending!
Author's Response: I can't believe I wrote it all either. I think I stared in amazement at the computer screen when I was done. Yeah, I really didn't mention a lot of James/Lily, but I did love writing the parts that had it. Yay! That was the intention for you to hate Peter. Teddy actually wasn't supposed to be in the end, but when DH came out, he was put in. Thanks for reading!
Summary: On Valentines Day when Lily and James are in their seventh year, Lily is waiting anxiously for James's annual embarrassing Valentine. But maybe this year it won't be what she expects ...
LOVE LOVE LOVE haha...so cute :):)
As a Chaser for the Harpies, Angelina Johnson is used to chasing goals, but when the team is sold and Blaise Zabini takes over management, she feels more like a Quaffle...and one that might not mind being handled.
I enjoyed reading this story. It was very cute, but unfortunately, I still love Angelina and Fred!!!! Still though, I liked this take on a Blaise/Angelina one...well written and imaginative...I never would have thought of Blaise as Swahili but it makes sense!
Author's Response: Thanks! I love Fred and Angelina, too. That's why I have a story, Halloween Treat that I wish was reality, and why I paired George with Alicia in For Bitter or For Worse and even after finding out Jo had him marry Angelina never thought it was healthy or going to last. They both deserve to be loved for who they are, not who they were to Fred. Sigh.
Summary: COMPLETE. When trying to decide who might be worse - the Weasley twins or James and Sirius - the Fat Lady retells a story about overhearing James' confession to Lily. One-shot.
Awww I love this!!!! James/Lily pairings are my absolute favorite, and I loved reading this! Fabulous job....it got a bit corny at parts, but I love corny so it was perfect :):). Great job!
Living In The Weasley-Springs Family ... Merlin Help Me by Pussycat123
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 14]
Summary: Day Don’t-Ever-Ever-Ever-Call-Me-Daisy-Or-I’ll-Break-Your-Fingers Springs isn’t exactly a chip of Janey Weasley’s block. Instead of Hogwarts’ most notorious trickster, she’s more like Hogwarts’ most feared and esteemed ice queen. Well, that’s how she’s seen, anyway, and let’s face it; she doesn’t do much to change that image. But is she really as cruel and hard as she acts? Or is she, like every other moody teenager claims, wholly misunderstood? Well, now’s your chance to find out, in the sixth and final chapter of the Janey Weasley series. You thought it was all over? So did I, but then here it is, so have fun! After all, aren’t you just dying to find out what happens when someone is finally brave enough to do something that ... well, that might just annoy our ice queen a little bit?
awwwwwwwwwww!!! I love Day! I think I like her more than Tilly!!! And trust me, no one would be angry if you wrote another one-shot to this series...:)...Personally, my favorite from this series were this one and the first two Janie ones....but the others were ALL so good to....so yeah, fantastic job!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! I like Day a lot too, I wanted her to be a bit different to the rest of her family, but still have that same charm ... well, maybe "charm" is the wrong word, but you know what I mean! I really can't see another one being written, but thank you so much anyway, I'm glad you liked them!
Summary: Sirius arrives back in Number 12 Grimmauld Place after the Tri-Wizard Tournament. What memories will being back in his childhood home stir up?
I would be grateful if luinrina
Awww reading this just brought a big smile to my face! I love Sirius, he's one of my favorite characters, and after the rough day I've been having, this short, but very sweet one-shot was the perfect remedy! Thank you!
Summary: “Guilt brings people together. It’s a takes one to know one type thing.”
James Potter has always been a spoiled, arrogant, lazy show-off. When he enters his final year at Hogwarts School, he’s Head Boy . . . and he’s still a spoiled, arrogant, lazy, show-off. But because of that terrible summer, he’s also guilt-ridden.
Lily Evans has always been a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. When she begins her last year at Hogwarts, she’s Head Girl . . . and still a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.
With the darkness that’s surrounding the Wizarding world slowly seeping, at long last, onto the grounds of Hogwarts and into the lives of James Potter and Lily Evans, what comes next?
Another good chapter - I can't believe Lily and James said 'I love you'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made my day....and my theory, by the way, was that the person who killed Jilly took her cardigan and placed it in the Marauders room to frame them. Next chapter asap please!!!! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I really liked writing this chapter, so I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed the exchange of I love you :) And hopefully you'll find out about your theory soon . . .
DRAMA!!! I hate Severus Snape. With a burning passion. But I loved this chapter, and I'm so glad the second part is coming soon :).
Author's Response: This was a pretty dramatic chapter, wasn't it :) I'm glad you liked it! And I have to admit -- I'm pretty anti-Snape myself (although when writing him and not ranting to other HP obsessed friends, I try to be fair to him). Thanks for the review!
Summary: September the First, nineteen-sixty-two, is the day Molly Prewett has been looking forward to more than any other day. This is the day she'll join her brothers at Hogwarts. But what if she's not really a witch? What if she can't get through the barrier? What if no one will talk to her? And which House will she be Sorted into?

I really enjoyed reading this story, because it was something that I never would have imagined happening. I loved how you included the bit from Deathly Hallows at the the end - it was so interesting to read that connection! Amazing job with this truly original plot!!!
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm pleased you enjoyed the story and left me a review. I liked writing this one especially when Bellatrix popped up. ~Carole~
Summary: A young man remembers both his father and the lessons learned from a mysterious apothecary in Hogsmeade.
This is Gmariam of Ravenclaw writing for the Winter Snows prompt, Stirring
AHHH! This was amazing! My favorite line was "...he was rejected for something he could not change about his life; the mark on his arm scarred him as surely as the bite to my father had scarred him.". Outstanding, and so well written. Amazing job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the great review! I'm so glad you enjoyed this stor. It was fascinating to draw the parallels between characters. I really appreciate the compliments - thank you for reading this and taking time to leave a review! ~Gina :)
On a stormy October evening, a letter, a late night trip to the library and a secret conversation lead Lily Evans to discover that there are several mysteries in her life that only she has the capability and the inclination to solve. The first mystery is James Potter – what could turn him from the arrogant, could-care-less boy that she had previously known to someone withdrawn and far away? Then, perhaps more troubling, there is Esther Collins, the fifth year who has vanished without a trace. Furthermore, one of Lily’s best friends, Izza, is seeing a mystery boy and Lily is determined to know who.
Then there is the threat of war, backstabbing friends and NEWT’s. A disinherited and emotionally battered Sirius Black is the source of heartache for his friends, except perhaps Izza, who, with her own terrifying family, might just understand him. Lily’s closest male friend, Remus Lupin, is hiding a dangerous secret from her. Peter’s girlfriend is screwing him over, and the whole time Lily is struggling to stop the people she loves from coming apart at the seams.
ohhhhh shit! sorry for the profanity. just seriously! DRAMA! I love, love love :) keep it coming, please!! :)
Author's Response: So much drama! Haha, drama is good though. Keeps it interesting, eh? And don't you worry, there's definitely more to come :D
Wow. This is the first time in a while that I've been able to really read a Marauder era fiction. It's my favorite genre, and I used to only read it. But recently, I've become picky with the quality of the stories I've been reading - that's what happens when you've read so many cliches, and similar story lines. Your story, though, is so intriguing! It has different ideas, and you portray the usual things like the Lily/James drama in such a unique way - I mean that you don't all of a sudden have Lily only able to think about James and the way he's changed. I love that you also have her think of other things.
Speaking of other things, I also adore Sirius and Izza....in fact, I love that you have all the Gryffindor seventh years as best friends - I like that they all hang out together.
Finally, I want to say that your writing style is fantastic! I can't wait, and am dying with suspense, for the next chapter!!! Please update again as soon as you can!!
Author's Response: Wow, I'm so glad that my story is the one to tempt you back :D That makes me feel awesome, and I really do my best to avoid those Marauder Era cliches that turn people off, because I've encountered plenty myself, so it's great to hear that I'm doing something right :D The next chapter is being betaed as we speak, so it should be up really soon.
Oh gosh, the suspense is killing me! Please, I beg, update soon!!!
Author's Response: I've just submitted the next chapter :D
The kitchen at the Burrow has six occupants, Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Molly and Arthur. The youngsters look nervous. Arthur suspects that they are up to something. What is going on inside…
The Mind of Arthur Weasley
I loved it! It was exactly like the Mr. Weasley I imagine! I loved how you portrayed him, because it is true that the kids always think they can get away with anything....I really enjoyed this because in it, you proved that notion wrong....I've always had a feeling that that was what Mr. Weasley was like, but you put it into words beautifully. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. My theory is that Arthur is the quiet observer, and also that he's the last line of defence. molly deals with day to day discipline, but when the twins try to trick Ron into making an Unbreakable Vow, that's when Arthur steps in. This is not my most read one shot (that is Sleepless Night), though it is second. It is, however, the most reviewed story. Everyone seems to like it. Or, perhaps, everyone likes Arthur. (-: N
Summary: The seven men who loved Hermione Granger.
I absolutely loved this story...I saw it was nominated to be read on audiofictions, and I really hope it does!!!! In response to your question about doing this for all the major characters, I say yes yes yes!!!! I would love to read all the different stories!!1! Outstanding job!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm flattered that it was nominated for audiofics, and that you think it should be read aloud! :) I've just written another piece for Ginny that was posted today and I plan on writing more!

This was so original! I really enjoyed it. Good work.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the story, and I hope you will read and review others.
Summary: The seven men who loved Ginny Weasley.
Oh my goodness. This was another amazing story!!!! I loved the people you chose - they were so perfect, my favorite had to have been Harry's.... literally though, when I read that final note at the end, when you had written that you had a hard time choosing just seven people, I had honestly forgotten there were that many. I wanted more!!! I literally went back and counted how many people you wrote about....Because it didn't feel like seven. This story just pulled me in!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you were so immersed in the story and enjoyed it so much :)
Summary: The seven women who loved Harry Potter.
another amazing story!!! I think you should do one for Lily Potter....that would be amazing....great job!
Author's Response: Thank you! I will probably do Lily, too :)
