Summary: Coming home late from an Auror assignment, Ron faces a conversation he didn't expect... at least, not for a few more years.
Just a fun little one-shot, dedicated to Lori (WeasleyMom), the Queen of all things Romione.
I love these short and sweet ron and hermione stories : ) i definitely think you wrote their personalities very well and you took hermione's fear of bellatrix and built on it. it is so sweet that you dedicated this to weasleymom, she truly is the queen and ron/hermione fics!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. =) And yay for WeasleyMom/Lori.
Summary: In his sixth year at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy begins his training as a Death Eater. Whether he likes it or not. When Hermione Granger is kidnapped and held prisoner at Malfoy Manor, Draco's life becomes even more complicated. She challenges everything he's ever believed, and draws feelings from him he never knew he could have. Witness their relationship unfold as Draco prepares to make a life-changing decision: to accept his family's destiny for him or to risk both their lives by turning his back on it all.
Yeah for updates! It's a shame that Snape's plan didn't quite work...but I hope Draco and Hermione still escape. I think this is the most realistic portrayal of what would happen to Draco after dealing with this psychological damage his family has caused. Keep it up...loving this story to pieces!
I'm so sad that is is over but I am happy to hear that there will be a sequel : ) I have truly enjoyed this story because I feel that if the characters were put in this situation, it is possible that they would really react this way. Too many Dramione stories are unrealistic but I feel like your is. Can't wait for the romance to begin...post the sequel asap!
Author's Response: Ah, BookWorm, I have loved everything you've ever said to me in your reviews!! You have been just so awesome to keep me encouraged through all the chapters. I am humbly in your debt, my dear!
Thank you for the ultimate compliment, that my Dramione fic was realistic enough that you can imagine the characters actually reacting in the ways they did. That was the WHOLE POINT of my story, and I'm so glad to know that it came through!
I'd better see you in the sequal, hunny! I can't live without your words! :D I'll post it just as soon as I can! Take care, darling, and thanks once again for everything. Luv, Stef :)
I was so giddy to see an update YEAH! But now I'm sad to hear that there are only a few chapters left : ( I enjoyed your quote about the Dark Lord baking biscuits LOL classic. My favorite part was when Hermione screamed for Draco and Hermione's parents thanked Draco. Can't wait for the next chapter...I hope Hermione and Draco get time alone to talk out what has happened. Great job!
Author's Response: Eee! I'm glad you loved it, and that you told me your favorite parts! Draco and Hermione don't get a lot of time to sort out their feelings (though they will in Book II), because now Draco has to deal with his peers- especially Harry and Ron. You can only imagine how well that's going to go! Please let me know what you think of the next chapter, which should finally be up SOON!! Thanks, hunny! Luv, Stef :)
Wow the scene with Draco, Bellatrix and Hermione was intense. I am so glad that Draco decided to step in...but now what are they going to do without a wand?? Can't wait to see how they survive this situation...and if Hermione is rescued, I hope her bond with Draco is not forgotten. Considering I am a huge Ron/Hermione shipper, that is saying a lot! More please : )
Author's Response: I really appreciate, no HUGELY appreciate your praise as a Ron/Hermione shipper- that's high praise indeed! There is so much more coming in the story, but let's just say that somethings get worse and somethings get better. It's gonna be a bumpy ride for our couple, and I'm so glad you're taking the journey with them. Let me know your thoughts anytime, hunny! Thank you so much! Luv, Stef :)
Yeah! I am always happy to see an update from this story. This chapter wasn't very long but it was still interesting to see the reaction on the Order and Harry and Ron. I hope that Draco stays by Hermione's side while she heals and that they become even closer. Can't wait for more : ) Good luck getting your 100 reviews...only 19 to go!
Author's Response: Hooray! Thank you for helping me toward my goal! I just looked at my read count, and it's over 10,000! One goal accomplished. :D
I know that the chapter was short, but it's only because I couldn't find a better place to split it with what's coming up. It would have been massive if I'd have left it all together. And the next chapter sees some interaction between Draco, Ron, and Harry, too- dun dun duuuuuuunnnnnn! :O
So glad you're staying with me through the journey, and I look forward to your thoughts on the next chapter! Luv, Stef :)
Phew! So glad Draco and Hermione are safe...for now at least! And thank goodness for Hermione speaking up at the end or the whole room would have cursed Draco. I hope the Order lets him stay and see's how much he cares for Hermione. I love tis story, can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Hi sweetie! You are so right- they would have cursed Draco into the next life if Hermione hadn't said something in his defense. The next few chapters deal with the Order members' reactions to "new and improved" Draco. You can expect some nasty clashes with Harry, and especially, Ron. I'm looking foward to hearing your review of the next chapter. Thanks so much, hunny! Luv, Stef :)
Yeah for updates! I'm a little surprised that you mentioned at the end that Draco kissed Hermione's lips but you wrote it so casually, like it wasn't a big deal. He just saved her life, it most definitely is a bog deal! I hope the Order finds them soon and I'll be interested to see everyone's reaction to Draco. I am loving this fic, keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, sweetie! And thanks for your note about Draco kissing Hermione's lips; I didn't realize that it would come across that way. I tried to make their first kiss in the previous chapter really special; in this chapter, he kisses her quickly, because they have no time to spare- it's like 4 kisses on her face in quick succession, like a compulsion. I didn't mean to make it sound so casual, but I went back and read it and I can see how it could be interpreted as such. I'll see if I can go back and re-word it a bit because, you're right, it IS a big deal! Thank you for pointing that out, hunny! Keep your reviews coming- they are helpful and very appreciated! Luv, Stef :)
Wow it feels like the good side has gone bad! I'm glad that Ginny saved Draco...I'm sure her friend Hermione will appreciate it : ) In your response to my last review you mentioned "book II". Does this mean there is going to be a sequel?? Please update soon...I am loving this story!
Author's Response: There is a sequal in the works! There's a lot of unfinished business from Book I- Lucius and the Death Eaters' hunt for Draco and Hermione, will Draco ever see his mother again, and other stuff I can't mention yet because I didn't post of the end of this story yet! The next chapter is the last one- I can't believe it. I'm pleased with it though, and it gives me the perfect springboard for Book II. I really appreciate that you've stuck with me through my story, and that you always post encouraging reviews- it means a great deal. Please let me know what you think of the final chapter! Luv, Stef :)
Summary: Anniversaries always trigger memories. When Hermione, Harry and Ron were captured and brought to Malfoy Manor, Draco refused to name them. As the Battle commenced, he never attempted to harm them. This is why. He was functioning under an idea that refused to quit, an idea that had recently been reinforced, the idea that he could admire - even adore - a certain Mudblood.
Written for the Tenth Anniversary of the Draco/Hermione ship.
I am both impressed and disappointed by your story. I enjoyed seeing Draco being concerned from Hermione and to see them work together when a crisis arose, but I am sad that the most romantic part of their story was cut out. You went from their interaction during the war and then straight to 12 years later. Where is that year that Hermione said she loved him? I read part of your other story about the twins being split up, but when they reference the past, it really goes back to the twin's birth and doesnt flash back to any good memories of Draco and Hermione's relationship. I hope you write a story to fill in the gaps because that would be so exciting! Enjoy your writing, keep it up!
Author's Response: Hi, Jessica. Thank you for this review! Glad you were impressed and sorry you were disappointed. This is why I put that anti-epilogue warning in Chapter Three, hehe. It was tricky deciding what to include and exclude in the epilogue because I don't want to spoil things for CATATI readers. 'That year Hermione loved him' is yet to be revealed in CATATI. Abduction is a prequel to CATATI, but can be a stand-alone with an open ending if read without the epilogue. Thanks again! I hope you'll read CATATI where the gaps are slowly but surely getting filled in. :D
Summary: Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley absolutely despise each other. It seems as though the rivalry between the two families has passed down to the next generation, and it looked like that it wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
Into O.W.L. year our story starts, when suddenly both Rose and Scorpius notice there is something going on between them. Like a "spark" in their relationship. Including trying to figure out their feelings and a lot of dueling, fifth year is going to be one wild ride. For them at least.
Filled with plenty of action, romance, betrayl, and secrets, find out exactly how an entire relationship can change just because of a feeble spark.
Wow! Tension so thick you can cut it with a knife! Awesome chapter, like the mention of Rose's "mudblood" mother and the promise from Hagrid to not tell her father Ron. Can't wait for more of this fabulous Rose/Scorpius fic!
Author's Response: Aw, you're gonna make me cry! I really appreciate all of those kind words. This fic will be updated soon! Thanks for reviewing! -panda_patronus
I am always excited for an update from this fic, but this chapter was kind of uneventful : (. The whole diary discovery is interesting so hopefully that goes somewhere in the plot. The story has strayed from the whole "spark" theme. Where are their strong feelings for eachother?? Hope to see more soon!
Author's Response: I know this chapter was kinda boring, but the next chapter the "spark" comes into play a little more. DOn't worry, I wasn't abandoning any of the "spark" stuff! Thanks for the review! -panda_patronus
My first Rose/Scorpius story and I'm absolutely loving it! I like seeing the next generation at Hogwarts: Lily, Albus, Hugo, James. I can't wait to see what happens next when Rose and Scorpius address this "spark" between them. Very well written, keep it up!
Author's Response: You are so sweet, and I am glad you are enjoying it. I always knew I wanted to write a Next Generation fic, but I never had an idea for one. Now here I am! Thanks for reviewing! -panda_patronus
Summary: Hermione is working for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement on repealing old laws that favor purebloods, while Ron has recently left the Auror Office to join his brother at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. When Hermione decides to move to Australia to be with her parents, Ron is forced to confront the reasons behind her abrupt decision. Yet there is more going on than he realizes, and a simple proposal takes him to the other side of the world, where they will face one last test of their love. This story is now complete!
Ah! Cliffhanger is definitely the right word to use here! I was so excited to see a new chapter for this fic...I was beginning to lose hope. I hope after Ron's heroic rescue that he is able to work things out with Hermione...that is if they can saved her from falling to her death! Update soon please : )
So Katherine really is on the good side? Interesting...I like how you brought Scabior into the story. He is rarely in stories so it's a neat twist. I can't wait until Ron and Hermione are back together again. They haven't actually seen eachother since the 1st or 2nd chapter and I can't wait to see them reunited. I hope if/when Ron saves her that you don't just cut the story off there. I hope you show them taking the time to work on their relationship, which was struggling when the story began. I love this fic! More pretty please!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it and didn't find Scabior too out of the blue. As for them back together again - who says they will even make it out alive? Maybe I'm waiting to add a big Alternate Universe tag to the last chapter! Haha, totally kidding. Good point about the end, I'll have to think about that. Thanks so much for following this story, I appreciate it! ~Gina :)
OMG poor Hermione! I'm dying to know who her attacker is! This is a tragic chapter but I am actually happy that she at least knows Ron followed her to Australia. This thought will hopefully give her strength to escape! Ron, save her! Can't wait for more : )
I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter! Ron is such a smart cookie and he rarely gets credit for it. He figured out the situation quickly and I hope he can get to Hermione before it is too late. I don't like the fact that he is calling this Katherine Kelly girl...she was way too flirty for my liking. Ron loves Hermione too much to get sidetracked by her anyway but she was quite annoying. Can't wait for more!!! LOVE this story : )
Woohoo another chapter! I'm completely addicted to this story! I DO NOT like this Kate girl, what is her issue? Either she is behind this danger with Hermione's parents or she is trying to hint that she is there to help...either way she was too flirty lol. I love this fic because it is very realistic of how Ron and Hermione would act and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Wow now you're throwing a muggle celebrity in the mix!!! So many twists, can't wait to see what happens next!! Hurry Ron, hurry!!!
Author's Response: Haha, a Muggle celebrity - weird, huh? He's a good guy, though. :) Thanks so much for the review, I appreciate it and hope you enjoy the story as it continues! ~Gina :)
OMG poor Ron! I should have known it wouldn't be a quick fix! I can't wait to find out what danger Hermione's parents are in...wish she would just tell Ron so he could help her. He is/was an auror for goodness sake! Looking forward to reading more : ) Oh stubborn Hermione...
Author's Response: They are both stubborn, don't you think? But Hermione has her reasons. ;) Thanks so much for reading, glad it surprised you. I appreciate the review and hope you enjoy the rest! ~Gina :)
