Hi everyone! I'm Brooklyn, but prefer to be called Brooke, Snowstar, or, best of all, Snow. Weird nic-name, I know, but it's mine.
Harry Potter is my life, my love, and my obsession.
A TAD ABOUT ME:
Favorite Character: I do not have a very favorite character (I love too many), but the Weasley twins, Lupin, Snape, Percy (yes, I'm weird), Draco, Dumbledore, and the trio rank right on up there.
Least favorite character: Voldemort scares the crap out of me, but it's Umbridge that I hate with a burning passion. Oh, and I wouldn't mind feeding Rita Skeeter to a blast-ended skrewt, either. Just joking. I guess.
Shipping: I'm not a shipping maniac, so I pretty much stick to canon. My favorite ships, if I had to pick some, would be Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Draco/Asteria, Dumbledore/Grindelwald, and James/Lily. Draco/Pansy should be banned. The two non-cannon ones I like are Neville/Luna and Percy/Oliver (Again, I'm weird).
Favorite Book: A dead tie between Deathly Hallows and Order of the Phoenix. I own three copies of DH, and my OOTP book has been so well read that it resembles Snape's old potions book.
Favorite Movie: Half-Blood Prince. Loved it. Tom Felton, Rupert Grint, and Jim Broadbent completely stole the show.
Favorite Horcrux: Nagini. I like me some snake.
Favorite H.P. Quote: Anything Dumbledore or Weasley Twin, really. I also love the line "Percy was in his element." I also love "Mars is bright tonight."
Favorite H.P. moment: Ron coming back, maybe? Or Neville pulling the sword out of the hat. That was too epic for words.
Ideal birthday present: A Firebolt and/or a pirate flag. Don't ask.
Non-H.P.: I love LOTR, The Hunger Games, Max Ride, the GONE series, and other works of fiction similar to those. I have a bit of an emotional attachment to the Warriors Series. Twilight, I'm confident in saying, just doesn't do it for me. Sorry, Twihards. I read and write constantly (I like to think that I write much better than this profile would suggest), and it seems as if I never stop doing homework and projects whenever school is in session. I had an obsession with Neopets when I was younger. I go to school in the North East, and it's fantastic there.
Well, that looks like everything important.
Sorry for droning on and on.
P.S. Give 'em hell for us, Fred!
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!
WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichés galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.
It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?
New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.
Starring 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, Emma Weasley, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Post-Hogwarts Story.
I started reading Potter's Pentagon a couple of days ago because your summary made me smile. Now, having finished the story, there are just a few things I would like to say.
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! (I'm being Giorgi today) This story has been a joy to read. It wasn't the most well-written thing I've ever encountered, but I hardly doubt that I could do any better. As it is, the plot line was satisfying, and you succeeded in making me laugh, snigger, sing "Love Shack," and really care about all the characters. My favorites would have to be Ted (because who can't love his sweet goofiness?), Haley (because, despite the fact that we're different as day and night, she always made me laugh), and Ani (simply because he was so bizarre despite being unfairly despised). I found that I related to Ted, Ivy, and Jordan the most. Em's temper could get kinda' annoying, but she reminded me of a very good friend of mine.
My favorite moment would have to be either Ophidias's turnaround, the whole Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them gag, or the entire second St. Mungo's sequence. Did I mentioned that I loved Ted? As for my favorite quote... I don't know... there are too many good ones to chose. Also, Tyrone's shirts and your constant references to things such as Young Frankenstein never failed to make me laugh.
I haven't read Pride and Prejuiced yet, but I'm predicting Ani for Haley's husband.
Thank you for all the laughs, and again, congrats.
Peace out, and (as if you didn't already know) Ted rules.
