Wow. I decided I needed to update my summary. Chatspeak now makes me cringe, as I have become my community grammar Nazi. I do write fics, and would LOVE to post them, however, they keep getting rejected. So, if by miracle, you clicked on the link because you read something I've wriiten, congrats, future self.

Snowflakes by The_Dream_Team

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: And there he was. The one boy she could not stand. His messy, jet black hair was ruffled and untidy and his glasses were sitting crooked on his nose. James Potter was here. With Lily. And all her Muggle friends. At a Muggle ski resort. Could things possibly be worse? Oh yeah, Sirius Black is there, too.

The Sorting Hat Put Me In Slytherin by The_Dream_Team

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What if Harry befriended Draco? What if fear led Harry to follow the Sorting Hat's advice: "You could be great, you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that..."

That, was a very interersting perspective. I've wondered what it would be like if Harry had taken Draco's invitation, and the result is intriguing.

Author's Response: Hello! I'm glad you found it interesting! It was Oh so fun to write so I'm happy to see that my lil old one-shot was intriguing! (just a side-note: intriguing was on my second grade spelling test and in order to remember it I made up a little song... now I can't spell the word without singing it! just thought I'd share that completely random story!)

The Gryffindor Gang by U-No-Poo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Five students - Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, Claudia Kelaney and Adam Finnigan. Five different stories. One house - Gryffindor.

Join The Gryffindor Gang, five unlikely best friends, as they enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as first year students. Throughout the year, they must overcome their own personal battles. Albus just doesn't seem to get out of his father's spotlight - will people treat him like himself, or as Harry Potter's son? Scorpius is dealing with his family too - being a Malfoy in Gryffindor isn't exactly peachy for him. Claudia's started slowly adjusting to the wizarding world, but will her sneaky, horrible roommate cause Rose and Claudia big trouble? And Adam's just not having the perfect start to Hogwarts that he'd have liked.

These are all trying problems when you're eleven years old. But their real test happens when danger is thrown into all five of their lives, threatening them all. Will they be able to face their biggest battle yet, and live to tell the tale?

This is Part One in The Gryffindor Gang Trilogy.

Thank you SO much for reminding us all of HBP with Harry's DADA lesson. Your better than WB for putting the epic bit of humor into this.

I love this fic by the way, I don't a whole ton of Next Gen's, but this is really good. I'm quite anxious to continue this, although my 2 hour allowance of online time is up, I'm gonna risk it, just for you.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I hope you keep on reading. Chapter 8 is almost finished - I've just come back from a hiatus. Expect to see it within a few weeks!

The Sweetest Mistake by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

During the trip to Godric's Hollow, Hermione, through the course of events, comes to realize that her friendship with Harry had become so much more to her - but not to him. This pain, this disconcerting feeling, however, had nothing to do with Horcruxes.

that was rly good. i was quite impressed. the only improvement i can make is to not take so many of the events from the book ex. when harry and hermione were in bathilda's house. i rly enjoyed ur way of interpreting hermione's lie...everyone one of the ten times i've read tht book...i always wonder...

Author's Response:

First off, I'm so glad you liked this story. I really wanted to make something sweet but tragic.

I, too, always wondered, every time I read that one line, what it was that made her so shaken, considering the fact that she had seen Harry while he had visions before. I merely imprinted my own ideas and personality into that scenario.

The reason I incorporated so many of the events of Bathilda's Secret was because I needed the reader to know what was going on for both characters at each interval. We already knew what was happening with Harry, but Hermione was a large part of that scene, so we needed her input.

Thank you so much for reviewing, and I hope to bump into you again somewhere. Take care and happy reading!

How To Be Dead by MagEd

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: James and Lily Potter have died, but that doesn't mean Harry is alone. They're still watching over him, and they don't intend on stopping any time soon. *one-shot*

This was beautifully written. I think that you got the characterization spot on with Lily and James.

It was really intersting to see Harry's life from such an abstract POV, but you did an amazing job on it.

The ending...I had to try very hard to stop myself from crying since my mom just called me into her room to show me something, and it would've looked odd if I walked in wiping my eyes and saying, "This fic I just read was so incredible it made me cry."

The description is what got me to read it, I was looking at it and I've read some of your other fics and decided to read it, you're a marvelous author.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! The ending does sort of tug on the tear ducts, I know ;) I'm glad you liked it and that the summary was able to pull you in -- summaries are always tricky balancing acts.

Hearts of Red and Gold by moonyschick

Documented here is the story of the four unique, imperfect, and remarkable boys who made up the Marauders.
