All I can say is that Malfoy deserved to get the crap beat out of him. And that I liked how Harry gave Luke the phoenix feather. Very cool. One last comment: Name the birdie already!

This was a very touching chapter! Harry is being very grown up, making sure he protects Ginny should anything happen to him (but nothing bad will, right?) Hermione was the perfect person to ask, great job

Author's Response: Yeah- I realized that Ginny's real bday is August 11th, but I had already planned everything out before her actual bday was released! I was super upset when I found out, but I refused to change it because something VERY important happens on her birthday in my story, and it just wouldn't be possible to have had it happen in August of the previous summer. So... for me, Ginny's birthday is in May.
Very interesting...Ron talking to the owls was funny, I wonder if he'll make a prophecy now? Good chapter.

I want Ginny's dress! This was a great chapter, I can't wait to see what the "binding" ceremony entails. The line about "Muggle magic" made me crack up, I wonder if they used Aquanet.... hope not, it gives you helmet head, thats why my grandma uses it! And that you made it on the equinox, sounds like there is going to be some pretty powerful magic! Great job!
Author's Response: Hahaha- aquanet. I never really thought about it, but if I did I would imagine that Hermione would use something like Suave, because it's not tested on animals (I believe...) As for the equinox.... "a powerful spell for a powerful witch." :-)

awww, a beach ceremony, thats perfect! unless the weasleys magically changed overnight, they'll be mad at not being there for the wedding, delighted h/g got married, and insist on a second ceremony for the family. r/hr will of course stand up in that ceremeny, but i'll find out next chapter!

This is the year seven sequel to, Harry Potter and the Blood Traitor. Read that first, or you will have no clue what is going on in this. Now that HBP is out, and I have continued to post my story, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind, I thought I would take a second to say this. Unlocked Mind will not be modified in any way to accomodate any of the cannon from HBP. Unlocked Mind, while not posted, was essentially finished before the release of JKR's book. Any similarities that my version of year seven has that may tie it to JKR's version of year six are coincidence.
i liked how you made legilimency so intimate between the couples, and how you showed the beginnings of the struggles they would have to overcome. I also like that you're giving them enough maturity to wait, even if they want to tear each others clothes off sometimes. Teenagers ;)
Author's Response: I wanted to give the characters something that was intimate without having the story become a cheap romance novel. I hope this works.
