Summary: Winner in the Best Mid-Length Story and Best Romance categories in Round One of the Most Potente Passions SSHG Awards.
It begins the summer after Seventh Year, when the war is raging on, with an unexpected moment of tenderness. What is this inexplicable feeling Hermione experiences? And how can she get Snape to discuss it with her, when all he wants to do is avoid her? Rating for last chapter, only.
This story was definitely enchanting! I enjoyed the characters immensely. I love the way you brought Remus and Tonks together on the vacation as well as Hermione and Severus.
Summary: Some animals are more familiar than others -- this is the story of how Severus Snape acquired his familiar. This story is a one-shot prequel to Master of Enchantment and will make more sense if you read MoE first.
Adorable! So sweet!
Summary: In the best tradition, Severus must meet Hermione's parents to seek their blessing. Just how has Dumbledore meddled THIS time? This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment, as well as Bast, though it may stand alone.
I think I'd make the boys wait too! Sev is TOO delectable. Great one-shot!
Summary: Hermione and Severus are approaching their last major hurdle: informing Harry and Ron of their engagement and plans to marry. Severus sulks and intrudes on Lupin and Tonks while the Dream Team convenes. Later, Severus has this velvet box to show to his bride-to-be. This story is a one-shot sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, & Meet the Parents.
Lovely! I love the idea of a spontaneous proposal followed by a later, formal one with the ring. It's kind of my fantasy to have it happen like that. This was great.
Summary: The story of the wedding of Hermione Granger and Severus Snape, told through a series of newspaper articles; later on, we visit Hermione and Severus on their honeymoon. This story is a one-shot sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, Meet the Parents, and Meet the Boys. It is also non-HBP compliant.
This was a great idea. I loved the way you told the story through the articles and I totally wish Skeeter would be forced to drink Veritaserum and write out her thoughts for real!
Summary: Their first Christmas as a married couple find Severus and Hermione with many projects. The Christmas Rose Potion, a litter of increasingly alarming kittens, and the long-awaited wedding of Ronald Weasley and Luna Lovegood are only the beginning. Rating for later chapters. This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment.
Lovely little Christmas story (Christmas is awesome any time of the year, especially when trying to forget about unpleasantness like school starting!)
Summary: In the wake of the Final Battle, the Order has opened Headquarters to house its youngest members during a summer of Ministry-sponsored social events. With Snape as a chaperone, and engaged to another woman, the advent of a busy Hermione, determined to see her friends in love-matches, can only be a recipe for disaster.
WOW! This was such a good SS/HG story. I started reading it on ff.net forever ago and stopped for some reason. I'm glad I found it here on mugglenet and I'm so glad I finished it. I really enjoyed your characterization of Severus and Hermione. My favorite character, though, was Nanny. She totally stole the show whenever she was in a scene. I also loved Snape's sisters and sort of stepmother. Great job!
Summary: Three months after their wedding, Hermione and Severus celebrate their first Christmas. The Snapes host the Order Christmas party, where Hermione has a chance to visit with all of her friends, but Severus disappears in the middle of the party. Where has he gone? Why is he behaving so oddly? Companion piece to His Draught of Delicate Poison though it can stand alone.
A lovely Christmas story (goodness, I LOVE Christmas!).
Summary: In post-war England, the Ministry of Magic is closing Azkaban Prison, and prisoners are being released to family members. What will happen to Severus Snape, who has no family? Hermione Granger has a notion of what can be done.
This was AWESOME! So wonderful and so sweet that Hermione and Severus did have a child. I can see Felicity being spoiled by Severus until Hermione put her foot down, and then Sev continuing to spoil her in secret! Lovely job!
