I am a musician (with a degree and everything). I walk a lot. I'm actually addicted to coffee and chocolate (not necessarily combined). I show my affection for people by cooking for them. I am madly in love with rainy weather and old books. My favorite bands are Radiohead and Muse. I listen to Chopin nearly every day. I have an adorable husband and a sweet little baby boy. My ships are all canon compliant. I wish with all my heart that Severus Snape could have had a happy life. I'm a big fan of the Rose/Scorpius ship, especially as written by Kerichi. If I could date any HP character, it would be Albus S. Potter. I have him all figured out in my head.
Summary: Rachael Winters is a normal girl with a pretty average life. She is having one of the worst holidays in recent memory, that is until she meets a certain blond Slytherin ;) Takes place in the summer between Draco Malfoy's fifth and sixth years.
i love this beginning! are you ever going to finish it? please say yes!
Summary: In 2017, the Wizarding World seems peaceful and safe. Voldemort is long dead and the Death Eaters wiped out or imprisoned.

But there are challenges on the horizon and the most dangerous is coming from a shadowy group that is hunting something called the Flamel File. . . .
Year One begins.
"Hagrid’s hut looked like a fat, frosted cupcake with its light layer of snow. Smoke blew out of the chimney in lazy puffs." This was a particularly good image, I thought. :)
Author's Response: Thanks!
Seriously, you MUST continue this story. I have to know what happens. Please find the time to keep writing this story. :)
Author's Response: I'm sorry that I haven't found the time to keep up on reviews and stuff lately. I've been kind of swamped and I am the world's worst procrastinator. But the fact that there are still people out there who want to read this story means a lot to me and I am going to see what I can do about updating it. Thanks for your loyalty and patience!
It would be easier to kill his father than reason with him.
*A Draco pov outtake to Our Little Secret.*
I am simply in love with your take on the Malfoys. I do hope that you'll write much more about Draco and Astoria.
Author's Response: Thank you for loving my view of the Malfoys! Draco's always been one of my favorite HP characters, so I'll be open to any inspiration to write him. ;)
Plan A: Convince Father to respect Scorpius' decisions.
Plan B: Risk scrambling Lucius' brain with a Memory Charm.
Have you considered writing a story about how Draco and Astoria met/fell in love? I would love to read it, if such a thing were ever written by you.
Author's Response: Thank you for saying that! I have thought about it, but their son keeps taking up all my time with his adventures. :D
Summary: "There are many stories between the lines." - Jo Rowling, about the Black Family Tree.Cedrella's goal all her life has been to be the perfect Black. Aaaaaargh! Update soon please! Pretty please?
Scorpius had never looked forward to anything the way he looked forward to leaving Hogwarts with Rose. He planned a holiday with no friends, no family, and nothing to do but be together—until a tampered Portkey changed their destination.
I was sorry to hear about your recent difficulties, but glad to hear that you're getting through them well. I enjoy your writing so much, just as much as JK's. (My husband's family is Welsh, so I particularly enjoy the references, both in this and in the SS/EG stories.) I hope that you may continue this story in good health.
The story updates and I find out I have a lovely review I haven't seen. It made me happy and sad.
Thank you so much, Cassandra, for all you kind words. I wish I'd remembered your husband was Welsh. I would've picked his brain for Rhys' character! Oh well, the story isn't over yet. You may be receiving a private message. :D
Summary: He lost his brother and his best friend. How can life ever be anything but empty ever again? /post-DH/George/Angelina/
"Although the Weasleys were very close, not to mention their extended family of non-relations, Fred and George had always been something of an island just off the coast of the continent." This was a great image. I do hope very much that you will continue this story to its conclusion.
In her seventh year, Katie Bell knew what it was like to fear death. A year later, she learnt what it was like to see it in front of her. Nothing she had ever experienced had prepared her to deal with the aftermath of that. And then he came.
Caught in a whirlwind of Quidditch, heartbreak, and a rivalry, Katie struggled with her jumbled mess of feelings, one of which she hadn't expected but was growing certain that she could never live without.
Oh my freaking Salazar! This story WON TWO 2011 Quicksilver Quill Awards: Best Post-Hogwarts Story and Best Non-Canon Romance Story. *flail*
This (late) update was brought to you by the (belated) birthday of the ever-lovely Hannah / h_vic. She is a star and an excellent friend!
Please keep writing! I want to know what happens. I love "Katie girl." It's a believable nickname for her from him.
I'm glad you like it. Truthfully, this story has me by the throat right now, and I can't seem to want to do anything else. It's not going to be long, but I'm going to be finishing it before I start anything else. The next chapter went into the queue as soon as this one came up, so it's on its way.
Thanks for reviewing and have a wonderful day/night/whatever!
