This is a very interesting story. I have read very little fanfiction that develops Pansy's character past what it is in the books. I think you did a good job of portraying a side of Pansy that is softer, but still true to canon. Sometimes writing in third person sounds distant and detached, but I think you made it work well here. Overall, a nice one-shot.

I'm glad you think I stayed true to canon, I was a bit afraid that by showing this softer side, I may have lost the character we know from the books, but I reconciled that in the end, no "one note" character can pass for a realistic character *-)
