Truth? or Lies?... Friends? or Enemies?... Family? or Blood?... Love? or Hate?... Real? or Fantasy?

I am just your average girl trying to solve life's unanswerable questions. I hide behind a mask, too scared to show my true self, my hate, my madness, my desires. I find the only way to break free is in my writing. Using a fake name, can you see me? For I am in every story, in every chapter. Is it just a story or is it my destiny?

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

You should really change the part where Severus calls Lily a Mudblood ... he would never do that. Even if, in your story he doesn't love her, he never used the phase. (Obviously disregarding the time he called her it when he was so embarrassed by James.)

Author's Response: Oh, dear, Iím afraid I canít do that. While the grown man Snape doesnít say it, according to Lily in book 7, Snape the teenager apparently said it quite a lot. ďÖ But you call everyone of my birth Mudblood, Severus. Why should I be any different?Ē Now, you could argue that he would have stopped saying it immediately after it was the final straw that destroyed his friendship with Lily, and I wouldnít disagree, but I had written that long before book 7 revealed their relationship, and a number of timeline issues with my story, in particular the SWM scene and the end of their relationship. I simply donít have time or energy to go back and try to make it all work to suit the Book 7 timeline. I donít think I could if I tried, so since it wasnít uncommon for him to call people Mudblood, and he even called Lily that to her face, I think it is okay. Thanks though. :)

The best fan fiction ever written. Makes you really think, which we all should do more often. Especially since it is in our own minds, that we can always turn to when in need.

Very impressive! A story I could read over and over again and never get tired of it. You have a gift with words. If you haven't yet, I think you should think about writing a story of your own creation and publish it.

Author's Response: I actually have thought about it. I began writing OF and I still write it. That's the goal, to one day be published. I only hope and pray I'll make it there one day. I'm flattered that you think I could though. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
