Thanks for updating! The long wait was worth it, this chapter didn't disappoint!
OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR UPDATING! i've read the first forty nine chapters so many times and it's nice to see what happens next. THANK YOU! PLEASE FINISH THIS STORY!
Author's Response: That's great to hear :) Thank you!
AAAAHHHH! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FINISH THIS STORY! IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITES!
Thank you for updating! That chapter didn't disappoint!
Summary: She could walk through the graveyard without blinking, bypassing the graves of fallen childhood friends. She could walk through the halls of Hogwarts without missing a step, tracing back a path to her first day as she rushed through the school. She could even make her way to the Forbidden Forest and trample through it, ignoring the splashes and stains that still marred the aged trees and wasted ground. But Hermione cannot make herself face the Great Lake, calm on this balmy summer day, where she had watched three people she had slowly grown to love fade from existence. Character Death within. Post-Hogwarts.
That was simply lovely and touching. I'd definitely read it again.
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!
WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichés galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.
It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?
New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.
Starring 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, Emma Weasley, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Post-Hogwarts Story.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR UPDATING! Ohmigod I have such an unhealthy obsession with this story...Anyways, fabulous chapter! Very compelling and interesting and wonderful. My favorite part was the bit between Tyrone and Emma; I've been waiting for something HUGE to happen between them since the first story. I also want to say how REAL Ted is. I mean, he's a werewolf (aka not human) yet he's so relatable and fun and lovable. It's sort of like the way JKR created all her characters: larger than life but still so human. Great job!
Author's Response: Wassup, Management? Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for reviewing! And believe me, I certainly have an unhealthy obsession with this story, too. I hope that the romance scene was satisfactory, but they also get together differently in "Pride and Prejuiced Plums" and in "Hanky Panky." I am really glad you like Ted, because I think he's adorable! ^_^
PUH-LEASE UPDATE! i love this story! i'm dying to know what happens! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!
Author's Response: I PROMBISE I WILLLLLL!
Wow! I loved that chapter! The singing thing was really amazing! Please update soon, I love this story!
Author's Response: Thank you! Y'all knew I had to work some more singing into this story, didn't you, me being the musical aficionado I am?
Summary: Despite their best efforts, the word "wait" is always in the vocabulary of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. Kicking off after the final battle is done and Voldemort is gone, this is how Harry and Ginny sent "wait" to the wayside. *one-shot*
This is my absolute favorite Harry/Ginny fic. I love the use of the word "wait" scattered throughout the story- it made your writing fresh and really stand out from other fanfics. Also, you portrayed the characters very well. Harry and Ginny were incredibly believable, which made your fic ten times better. I LOVED IT!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! That's high praise. It's really important to me that characters stay in-character in my stories, so I'm glad to know you think I managed to that in this! :)
Summary: Harry and Ginny had a good reason for not showing any sign of their love when they dropped off their boys at the Hogwarts Express. They had just wanted to win their daughter a little money. After all, she was the only one who believed that they'd be able to keep their hands off of each other for two days. And what a fiasco that was.
This is wonderful! It's one of my favorite fics.
Summary: Ron and Hermione have always had a special connection. But mix in a fake French girl, a handful of dares, a cup of Hogsmeade trips, half a pound of Malfoy, and a pinch of detentions, there is definitely some trouble to be anticipated.
A look into Ron and Hermione's fifth-year minds to experience the spazzness and crazyism in first person.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I am not J. K. Rowling. I'm not even famous. Heck, I only have one story up on Mugglenet. But I'm still glad I can walk into J. K.'s world. And tap-dance back out again.
Additional warnings: May contain fluff, excessive randomness (AU), and minor plot twists!
I would also appreciate if NikkiSue/Nicole could mod this for me :]
Yes, I'd love an epilogue.
Author's Response: Will do!
I give you the imaginary gift of twenty-seven well deserved llamas! That was awesome! THANK YOU FOR THE AMAAAAAAZING UPDATE!
Author's Response: Yes! Llamas! Lol I guess you guys liked that comment. And yes, Chapter 6 was pretty good. Nice n' long. Seven's short, though, but really cute, and in the queue(:
I liked it a lot! It was very entertaining and you certainly grabbed my attention within the first three paragraphs. And it all sounds so believable! I can totally see Ron, Hermione, Harry, Draco, and Ginny acting the way you wrote them. Nice job!
Author's Response: Thank you! I love writing characters and their dialogue. Especially Ron and Draco :D. Check back for updates! --Maddy(:
Summary: It's been far too long since I posted a new musical spoof! This one is a collection of vignettes featuring Voldemort and the other bad guys in the style of "Dark Lord Voldy's Shattered Soul Club Band."
The songs are all parodies of songs from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's excellent musical, West Side Story. Someone-- and I'm so sorry, but I can't remember who-- requested I do this a loooong time ago, so thank you for suggesting it!
OHMIGOD THAT WAS AWESOME! I loooooooove West Side Story AND Harry Potter! YOU'RE A GENUIS FOR COMBINING TWO OF THE GREATEST FORCES IN THE WORLD! Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabulous!
Author's Response: AAAAAAA, THANK YOU!
A set of haiku telling of Molly Weasley's own war against Voldemort.
**Implied character death
That was brilliant! Your poetry was beautiful!
Summary: He’s never wondered what a vulnerable Sirius would look like, but if he had he wouldn’t have imagined it would make him feel so gutted.
A conversation between James and Sirius shortly before the Fidelius Charm is performed.
That was brilliant! I loved it!
Have you ever thought about those moments that really defined your life? The ones that were pivotal, life-altering? They can be as obvious as your wedding day, as defining as the birth of your child...or as small as a moment in time, as subtle as a glance between one person and another.
The greatest moments of our lives can sometimes be the shortest and simplest of them all.
A missing moment from the Half-Blood Prince and part of the "Moments" series.
Fabulous! I could definitely read that again!
Author's Response: :) Thank you very much!
Summary: “Guilt brings people together. It’s a takes one to know one type thing.”
James Potter has always been a spoiled, arrogant, lazy show-off. When he enters his final year at Hogwarts School, he’s Head Boy . . . and he’s still a spoiled, arrogant, lazy, show-off. But because of that terrible summer, he’s also guilt-ridden.
Lily Evans has always been a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. When she begins her last year at Hogwarts, she’s Head Girl . . . and still a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.
With the darkness that’s surrounding the Wizarding world slowly seeping, at long last, onto the grounds of Hogwarts and into the lives of James Potter and Lily Evans, what comes next?
Lovely and touching. James is wonderful and I think you've captured Lily perfectly in respect of her being unHermioneish. I also think the potion they're brewing is Poly Juice. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad you like how I've portrayed James and Lily so far.
Summary: In the summer before year 7, Hermione frets over the dangerous times ahead. A trip to check on Ron and Harry turns into a rare heart to heart between the ginger fellow, and bushy haired lass. Short, sweet, & touched with humor. A "WhatCouldHaveBeen"
That was lovely. I love fluffy pieces like that.
Summary: As Harry prepares to sacrifice himself to Voldemort, all he can think about is Ginny...
That was faaaaaaaabulous! I loved it! Especially the ending lines, "I will not have died as The Boy Who Lived, but as a man in love". Wonderful!
Author's Response: I feel touched to deserve 8 a's in the word fabulous! Thank you!
