Hi, my name's Elena, and I am 18 years old and am in love with the Harry Potter series. I fell in love with them in 2001 right before the first movie came out, and haven't stopped since. I also enjoy loads of other books, so if you want any suggestions be sure to get in contact with me, and I'll happily give you some.
Well I should tell you my favorite shipping is Hermione and Fred. I just think that they would be perfect together since she's the bookworm and he's the troublemaker, plus their kids would be geniuses. Also in my world Fred is NOT dead, never happened, I am in denial so do not try to get me out of it.
I also enjoy lots of non-cannon shippings and love to read them, mostly because I love seeing other people's view points on who should be with who.
I'm also a beta-reader so if you need one be sure to contact me!
Do you remember that night
When I had to play your angel
Saving your soul?
Even though you were holding on tight
A part of you was taken by the demons below.
When Nathaniel Nightingale escaped from Azkaban, Demetri and Genevieve knew their lives would eventually take another turn for the worst. For years, they sought to control the Purity of the Night's fight for power, but the group's new alliance may prove to be a frightful adversary. Nathaniel's own daughter has joined the rebel group, and her blood lust has already resulted in the deaths of many, including James Potter II. Demetri and Genevieve's greatest desire is to protect their daughter Fauna, who's own work in the Department of Law Enforcement has put her at a greater risk. However, Fauna has more to fear than her own skin as her secret relationship with William Huntington threatens to reveal itself in the midst of growing pureblood threats. The truth will have to come out when she is promised to another man... a man who resides right within the Purity of the Night.
This is the sequel to A Mix of Alliances and Sentiments.
I love how Fauna found a nice boy for herself. Especially how she won't tell her parents that she's been in a relationship for 5 years. And I love the whole CSI aspect in the Ministry, I never really thought about something like that. Great new chapter. Can't wait for more, especially seeing how the Purity of Night plays into this!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! I rather like Will, too, and its a bit fun having Fauna's parents not know. Lol. As for the CSI stuff, I've been watching a lot of similar shows lately and realized that not every wizard murder was a result of some rebellion, so why not explore the CSI team? Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! :)
Great new chapter. So the Purity of Night is really up again? I wonder who it is...I loved their anniversary dinner. Especially at the end with Scout. I love dogs! Is it bad that I have a sense of foreboding when I think of them announcing their relationship at the party? Update soon please!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! Yes, you could say the Purity of the Night is coming back and you'll find out soon enough who it is. I love dogs too, so Scout is lovely, lol. A sense of foreboding isn't anything bad... you're just anticipating for the future, lol. I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
First off let me say...WOW. This was an amazing chapter, and I liked seeing it from Demetri's point of view. I can't believe he signed a Marriage Contract though! And I believe that Genevieve's reaction was right on. Though I did catch that she had to marry a pureblood so could she marry one of her friends that are pureblood and get a divorce? I can't to see Fauna's reaction when she finds out, and what happens with Demetri and Genevieve. Another amazing chapter and I can't wait for more mzap!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! I'm so glad you liked this chapter. Unfortunately, Fauna will only ever be able to marry pureblood, so marrying one and then divorcing him wouldn't do anything. This is part of the reason Demetri tried to persuade her into looking at pureblood men, but his hands were a bit tied in what he believed in and trying to repress that. He knew he could never bring himself to arrange a marriage for Fauna so Fauna's only option was falling in love, but she fell for someone else. Thanks again for reading and reviewing! :)
Great 2 chapters. I didn't even see when you put up the last one. So... do you think you can speed up the party so they can finally tell Fauna's parents? I'd very greatly appreciate it! Also who is the Amaris? Is she even real? I can't wait for another update, keep working on that magic mzap!!!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! Well, I'm so excited about posting all of these, so I'll see what I can do about speeding things up. ;) And Amaris is very real, as much as a lot of people don't want to accept it. You'll meet her soon enough. I'm so glad you're enjoying this and I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
A great opening to another soon to be great story mzap. I love how Demetri and Genevieve still haven't changed over the last 12 years. Though I am disappointed that there's no little brothers and sisters for Fauna. I am very interested in what your going to do with Fauna and how she will be effected by the Purity of the Night. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! And yes, the couple hasn't changed all that much... thought there are some differences, such as they are a little more willing to stay committed to each other. As for the children... Genevieve still isn't a fan of children... she's made an exception for her own, but I highly doubt she'd want another. Thanks again for reading and reviewing! :)
Great new chapter. I loved how you were able to write the emotions that Harry was going through after seeing James. Though I was shocked that Amaris had the audacity to show up at the murder scene just to goad them on. It was great of Kathy to have them all over, and that Clive and Loretta are expecting. I hope the funeral will turn out well with no unexpected visitors, and that Fauna will be able to tell her family about her and Will without to much drama. Please post again soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! I'm glad you liked Harry, as I found him the hardest to write for this chapter, particularly in trying to channel the anger and anguish he would feel at losing a child. Amaris isn't one that likes to be ignored and she likes making her presence known, so yes, she had a bit of fun showing up at the crime scene. Kathy doesn't usually like to entertain, but she figured this would be a good break for the group. Let's hope the funeral goes smoothly and most of all, the reveal. Thanks again for reading and reviewing! :)
Wow. An amazing chapter. I loved how the whole Nightingale family just burst in on the party. And I have to say I knew Jett was Nightingale's son a couple chapters back when the wife who's husband was murdered said he looked just like Nightingale. I have to admit I'm slightly proud of this fact. lol. Though I did know that Demetri wouldn't respond to well to them admitting they were together, I didn't think it would be that bad. Though I am curious as to what Nightingale was talking about business with Demetri. Please update again soon!!!
Author's Response: Thanks, Alice! And congrats on being correct! I had a feeling that was your theory, and I'm happy you caught on. For Demetri, he has more reasons to be upset about the couple than Fauna knows about, and it should be revealed very soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'll update again soon! :)
