Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...
"He is a dark one, Keedie. Try not to let him consume you entirely."

I don’t usually review, but I have to say that I love your story!
It had caught my eye a couple of times, though I thought – ‘Nah, not my thing’. But I’m so glad that I stopped the other day and thought that I’d give ol’ Voldy a chance. I love that you can give depth and a whole other angle to a character about which everyone initially thinks – ‘HATE HIM!’, :D.
You write the whole thing very believably, interestingly and really well. Your characterisation is great too! I can be reading something about Tom and think – ‘That is SO Voldemort-y!” and yet I don’t hate him for it, which is new and strange for me! Haha.
I also like the little things that you add in there. Like, the whole ‘Biting the dust’ as being inspiration for the ‘Death-eaters’ thing. I love little details like that.
It was a hefty job, catching up with the chapters, but I’m there now and good for you because I loved them :)! The latest chapter was great, though the ending was unbearable – so update soon!
Author's Response: Thank you for such a lovely review and for giving a slightly different story a chance. I'm trying to keep him as much in character as possible, and I'm chuffed you noticed the little details! Please keep R&R ing :-)
Summary: Hermione is struggling to keep S.P.E.W afloat after a nasty and public incident involving a house-elf, rolling pin and Muggle now recovering in St. Mungo's. George is slowly drowning in a sea of financial strain and grief over Fred's death. When the two of them join forces one Christmas, will they overcome their troubles and perhaps find solace in the unexpected? But can these two very different personalities reside in one place at one time?
Boo for writers block! I hope it will let you write more soon! But, yay for odd Pairings! :) - i get bored when everyone writes about the obvious ones!
Author's Response: Yeah, there is nothing like an odd pairing! Well, chapter two is written and betad so I just need to submit it to the archives. I have two other fics in the queue at the moment, though, so there could be a bit of a wait :)
Oh how I love this story! :)
I was drinking a lovely cup of tea and saw that you'd updated 'Deal or No Deal' and almost fell off of my spinny-chair in excitement!
I love how this story is so different, but you still manage to keep it close and familiar with the detail, like Audrey and Victoire. I keep thinking - 'did this actually happen?', it so easily could have. The idea of George/Hermione becomes less obscure the more I read because you write so believeably. I like how you interchanged Hermione with Ron in working alongside George at WWW - is good!
I love it, but I don't know if I can hold out long for another chapter, so upsdate soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, Katie! I hope you didn't spill your tea! I'm glad you like the little details, I want to keep it as believable as possible despite the fact that it's got an Epilogue? What Epilogue? warning. I hope you can hold out a wee bit longer since I haven't finished the next chapter and still need to get it off to my beta! Uni etc. is very busy at the moment unfortunately. Thanks for the review!!!
I really love this strange, little story! Whenever I stumble across really odd pairings, i'm always up for reading them - and this one looks really, REALLY good so far! Please keep writing, I can't wait to see where this is going!
Author's Response: I love odd pairings too, which is what drew me to writing this fic. I had a sudden craving for George/Hermione one day, discovered there weren't many and thought I better write one myself! I'm glad you think it's good so far, hopefully I'll have another chapter up soon, fortunately I'm coming out of a bad bit of writers block :) Thanks for the lovely review!
