Summary: It’s the summer after the battle at the Ministry of Magic and Harry has returned to Privet Drive, where he awaits the time when he can rejoin his friends. A certain redhead has begun to occupy his mind and awaken emotions he never knew he had. As he continues to mourn the loss of his godfather, Harry slowly begins to heal and may have discovered a way to communicate with Sirius. Can it be too good to be true? Takes place directly following OOTP. Primarily a H/G romance, with some R/Hr as well. Rated R for adult content in future chapters.
Love it! This is really great - so many twists and turns. The characters are all really well developed, and it's nice to see that Fred and George have a serious side while hanging on to their sense of fun. Please add more to what is a great story that deserves more of the same!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind review. I enjoy adding different dimensions to the characters. I am working on the next chapter and promise to finish this story eventually. Thanks again for reviewing.
Summary: Ginny is now 24 years old. She is well-known and famous. But during a press-conference, memories of her past begin to come back to her. She goes back to the summer she turned 16. The summer that changed her life. But Hermione and Harry are acting strangely. What is really going on? POV of Ginny at first and then changes! HBP spoilers.
Wow! Lots of imagination and thought went into this! Fluffy, without being overbearingly so. Really want to find out what comes next - more please!!
Summary: The eight year War has been over for almost three years and members of the Order and their families are slowly slipping back into normal lifestyles; all except Ginny. Every day she lives with deep regret for turning from Harry and her guilt increases as no one knows if he is alive or dead. A story about the journey one must take to get back the things missed the most.
Excellent, excellent story! Just the right balance of action and romance! Loved it!
Summary: After taking different paths a couple of years ago, Ron and Hermione find each other again, both of them wondering if their separation was a mistake. This applies especially to Hermione, who is leading an empty, unhappy life next to her fiance.
UPDATE (12/7/11): Newest chapter posted. Let us hope next one doesn't take me a year.
You can't keep us in suspense! Much as I don't like Michael, I'm still dying to find out what happened. Really well written fic, thoroughly enjoying it. The characters are very well written and alive - I can feel Hermiones pain and frustration. More of the same please!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you feel that way! Many readers have told me they hate my characterization of Hermione :S I know I haven't updated in forever but please hang in there!
Summary: Ten years have elapsed since Dumbledore's death and McGonagall has Hogwarts back on its feet again. Hermione and Malfoy both teach at the school. But when a new teacher is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, everyone seems to feel that they've met him before. A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).
NEXT CHAPTER VALIDATED
There have been errors when this story gets submitted for validation, so the mods have to do it manually. Therefore it does not show when it has been validated -- but it has!!
Thank you to all my reviewers!!!
Disclaimer: I own my imagination, JK Rowling owns Harry Potter.
Very intriguiging! A really good start to what seems like an interesting story.
I think he's gonna have a fight with Malfoy, and kick his ass (I hope)! Do I detect the return of the original Malfoy?! I also think he'll get kissed.
Bring on the next chapter - really enjoying this, as I can relate to it slightly! The frustration of being around someone you really fancy is very well written.
Summary: This is the story that every good Harry Potter fan wants to come true. I hope that I do it justice. Harry has Ginny. Ron has Hermione. Life is sweet…no catch. It’s the perfect dream come true.
It's all full of fluff and pixie dust!
All review get a response!
So cute and fluffy! More of the same please!
Author's Response: There's an intensely fluffy chapter in the queue. I'm sorry it took so long to get there. I hope you enjoy it, and thank you so much for the awesome review :)
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.
Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.
Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.
I never really thought about how the others would have reacted to the deaths of their loved ones after the battle. This was extremely well written, and gave a great insight into what those left behind might have gone through. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and am looking forward to the rest of this story. V. glad Ginny and Harry sorted themselves out!
Author's Response: Thanks very much for your review. Warmed this author's heart on a cold winter's day! I'm glad they sorted themselves out, too. *shakes head* Young people sometimes, sheesh. Stay tuned! cj
Summary: They are all talented, some more than others. Some play Quidditch. Others are known for their brilliance in academics. They are the Marauders and a group that has lain in the shadows up to now, called the Lady Firebrands, known for their hot tempers and rather subdued practical jokes.
Romance will bloom.
Rivalries will blossom.
The author will try to stop using so many bad plant puns.
The story of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs' NEWT years will be told.
These are the Amphibious Lizards.
Love, love, love it! It's great to read a story that gives such an insight into the previous generation. More please!
Author's Response: There is a lot more now. Thank you very much!
When most of your teenage years are spent defeating dark wizards, or saving loved ones there’s not a lot of time to party. But if you’re Ginny Weasley there’s always a way, or a scheming plan. So for one glorious night, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny are breaking all the rules. Beware this story includes best friends, crazy clubs, deserted beaches, margaritas, a horny hotel clerk, confused feelings and massive amounts of wild, outrageous fun!
This is my take on what should have happened between the summer before Harry’s (nonexistent) seventh year. It takes place on couple of nights before the wedding. So there is some AU, obviously being that they didn’t go out partying before Bill and Fleur’s wedding. But otherwise it flows with the series.
Very funny! More please!
Author's Response: Thank you! The fourth chapter is still in progress...but it might be up in a couple of weeks. Maybe. :)
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione along with the rest of their year return to re-do their seventh year at Hogwarts, properly. With Voldemort gone and his Death Eaters being rounded up, this year at Hogwarts should be peaceful and relaxing. Will Ron finally gather up his Gryffindor courage and tell Hermione how he feels? Will Harry and Ginny get back together? And what happens when an old enemy returns to Hogwarts? Follow the trio through the romance, drama, danger, and everything in-between as they complete their last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Lovely start! More please - I'm curious to see what happens next!
Author's Response: The second chapter is currently in the editing process, and will be posted in a very short little while (I hope). Thanks for your review! :D
Summary: I swear, there must have been twenty people at my wedding like this: giving me a playful shove, they lean in conspiratorially and whisper in my ear, “Congratulations, Lil…I knew you’d give in to him eventually!”—only when it’s an older person talking the playful shove becomes a pinch of the cheek, and I am invariably referred to as “dearie”.
Gorgeous story. Really shows how people can grow and change. Loved the ending - made me feel a bit weepy.
