The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)

Harry Potter and the Hero's Lament by L A Moody

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: With McGonagall firmly entrenched as Hogwarts’ new headmistress, Harry is enticed to return for his seventh year under unique conditions. Aided by Ron and Hermione, he embarks upon a Horcrux search-and-destroy mission using the school as the base of operations. Recognizing that saving the wizarding world from the ultimate evil is a rather daunting task for a seventeen-year old wizard, the Order of the Phoenix steps in to assist Harry on his journey. It soon becomes clear, however, that not everyone has the same lesson plan in mind for our hero. As the headmistress attempts to lay a clever trap to reveal hidden agendas, Voldemort waits in ambush at the one site that Harry is sure to visit.

But before Harry can face his nemesis, he must face down the inner demons that plague his own life and truly grow into adulthood. His activities are punctuated with school pranks, Quidditch, parties, and the requisite amount of rule-breaking that readers have come to expect from the trio.

i love your story so much only the relationship between harry and ginny is a little confusing perhaps if there was a few more scenes with them that would be great just because i think the ginny situation is such a big part of harry and is factor he always consders when decision making -but the story is wonderfuland has a very original flair

Author's Response: Ginny's coming up in a big way in the next few chapters so I think you'll be pleased. Thanks for the compliments. I'm getting ready to submit the next chapter right now.

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Nearly every witch and wizard in the magical community suffered in the aftermath of the Great Battle of Hogwarts, including Draco Malfoy. He’s no longer the cocky, arrogant, slick-haired Prince of Slytherin, but a haunted, vulnerable young man. Finally free of his father and the Dark Lord’s clutches, he revels in his new found independence. The wizarding society is broken and rebuilding, and Draco returns to Hogwarts to repeat his seventh year. Newly appointed as Head-Boy, it seems Draco has changed. But has he changed enough to accept Hermione Granger as Head-Girl?

hey, i love this story alot i just stumbled across it today and got to read all seven chapters at once, i do hope you update soon as i feel your story is very beleivable with the way that you write which is rather refreshing. And your characters are not ooc which happens to be the bane of my fanfiction existence (lol)i just hate it when writers have no regard to Jkr and the manner with which she molded her characters but your story is very accuraate at characterization and Draco is delightfully easy to connect with and this makes your story so much more appealing too i'm really looking forward to what you're going to write next and hope it's not too long a wait xx

Author's Response: Aww, wow, thanks for all your lovely comments! It's nice to know the story isn't too cliche and the characters are all IC - it's something I really work on :) Hopefully it won't be too long until I update again; the Muse abandoned me (again) but I'm just going to sit down and work. Keep checking in to see how it's going! xxx

Our Little Secret by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story

It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn't a hag, and Scorpius didn't expect to call in the favour.
