Summary: Hermione Granger never really recovered from Ron Weasley’s death. She fell into bed with another man, but never fell out of love with her former fiancé. Unfortunately, the other man is Harry Potter, whose understanding as a friend can’t really reconcile with his desire as a lover.


And all of that mess was eight years ago. Now, Hermione’s be left in charge of Hogwarts as all the Professors with any sense abandon ship. It’s always been her haven, now she must be its savior. But can she pull it off, and at what cost to her own future? Or past? She has to contend with the students—the staff—Ron’s child—and then there’s that pesky Defense Against the Dark Arts position that needs filling once again. Of course, there’s only one man for the job, and he owes her no favors.
