Hey, I'm Alexi, and I go to Scotts Valley Middle School. I would be what I call a "one shot wonder" because that's all I write. My style mostly revolves around the inspiration from true emotions and meaningful lyrics of songs. Most of my fics are inspired by songs from a band called The Fray, which is really all I listen to. I love to write dark, as you can see from my current fic. I tend to express the darker sides of love and life in a very powerful way. And really all I write in is second person POV because it's the easiest way to express the emotions and words I try to portray.
Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...
"He is a dark one, Keedie. Try not to let him consume you entirely."
This story has the characters Albus Dumbledore, Armando Dippet, Moaning Myrtle, Rubeus Hagrid, Aaron Dante, Harry Potter, Ebony Abbott, Minerva McGonagall, Melena Creevey, Ollivander, Gregor Holmwood, Horace Slughorn and, of course, Tom Riddle and Keedie Dante...enjoy!
Winner of "Best Romance Between Other Characters" and nominated for "Best Female OC" in the 2009 Quicksilver Quill Awards
I like it so far. Happy you updated it!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot. Please keep reading and reviewing!
Awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!! the last part actually made me cry a bit! This is such a great story. I've never seen anyone write OOC so subtly.
Author's Response: That is honestly the best thing anyone could say. Thanks so much! I'm afraid if you cried at that, you're in for a tough journey! Please keep reading and reviewing! :-)
Okay, this chapter was great. I love how you illustrated Tom's distrust of Dumbledore and the confrontation of Holmwood was classic but good. I can't wait until you've finished it, and yes, I hope this story has something sort of a happy ending.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. The story is finished, it just needs to be posted now. Please tell me your reaction to chapter seventeen... ;-)
Aw! So sad but so good. I liked how you switched perspectives and how you illustrated the feelings.
For a moment I thought it was a Snape/Hermione fic but then the "blond curls" said otherwise.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, honey. And I love Snape/Hermione, wish I had the muse to write a decent one longer than a drabble. Lol. Thanks! xx
Love is healing. Love makes the world go ‘round. Love is all you need.
Whoever said that, obviously forgot about the part where it could destroy you, leave you empty and worthless, numb to everything, except the suffocating pain of knowing you aren’t good enough.
Hate is strong word. Hate destroys us. Hate is an ugly thing.
Sometimes, it’s our hate that drives us. It fuels us, pushing us through the past, forcing us to accept what we have. It gives us a reason to move. It motivates us into action.
Sometimes, hate is all we have.
O. M. G!!!!! That was really good! I really can't find any words to describe it!!
Everyone needs someone to hold on to, especially in dark times like these.
Sometimes, all it takes is a chocolate cheesecake and a friend – or something more – to rekindle a flame of hope.
Aw! You never cease to amaze me with your fics. It seems to me like the second person is your best and signature move. I love this one, with very little fluff and without saying the word "love" in context.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for yet another lovely little review!
Cute. Though it was a bit boy-meets-girl type of thing. I liked it though.
Author's Response: Thanks! And yes, it is a bit boy-meets-girl. It's supposed to be, it's just a little piece of fluff. ;)
"It’s like a safe place, somewhere to watch the world, somewhere... magical."
When the rain stops and the sun comes out, a magical moment is etched in gold.
So cute!!!!!! I love all of your fics. Your writing style just astounds me and you never fail to give me brilliant ideas for some of my other fics!! ;) good job!
Cute! I love the "love or lust" feel of it. Very well written. I adore this pairing to every end of the earth.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. They're my new favourite pairing, I think :) - Cassie
Journeys end in lovers meeting... as do they begin when lovers part.
A Charlie Weasley/Original Character one-shot, written for the SPEW 007 writing activity in response to the prompt asleep. It can be read separately, but also works as a sequel to Between Two Points of Separation.
Many thanks to my best friend Jenna/GringottsVault711 for her beautiful and efficient beta work!
Awesome! You write better than I do at my best. I love the way you described the feelings and the "more than friends" aura of it. Great story and I hope to see more of you in the future.
Summary: What ever happened to Sirius Black, infamous Marauder? Everything in his life is going wrong: his grades slip, his abuse from his parents is no longer a secret. His friends know he’s sick, but they can’t stop him. Anorexia is all he has left. MWPP
I liked it. The title really drew me in and the writing is very good though I would work on making your paragraphs a little longer. To me it just adds depth to a story. Good plot! I see potential.
Another chapter? Pweeeze? It's a good story with a crapload of potential. You just need to finish it!
Da da da dum, snap! snap!
A poem inspired by the Addams Family theme song.
That is awesome, funny and creative! The "da da da dum" added a certain character to the story. Nicely done!
Author's Response: Thank you for liking the poem and the "da dum"! I think all Voldemort's supporters were "dumb" for believing his lies, but there's a saying that there's none so blind as those who will not see. The Malfoys took the blinders off at the end, at least!
Summary: It was only a kiss, how did it end up like this? It was only a kiss… It was only a kiss…
Draco Malfoy has been released from Azkaban. He is free to start a fresh. The only problem is, he doesn’t want a new start, he still wants one thing from his old life. He wants that one thing more than anything in the entire world. But she does not want him back. And he cannot accept that.
I reallly have no words to describe how absolutely beautiful that was. I love that song to death and back and the way you wrote to it brought out the emotions of sadness. I reallly, really, really liked it! Keep it up.
Author's Response: You have no idea how happy that reveiw made me! Thankyou so much :-D I am glad you think I did the song justice! It is one of my faves too :-) Russia xxxxx
