Catch My Fall by Secret Lily
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 1279]
Summary: The heartfelt sequel to Lily and James: Their Story of Love. Catch My Fall takes you from Lily and James' newfound adulthood to that tragic Halloween night in Godric's Hollow. Pre-HBP
Really good chapter ... again ... You know ... you're one who could seriously think of a writer as a career ... just a thought! ...
P.S: I know this will sound really stupid ... but I gotta ask ... urm ... could you please tell the name of the actor/model who was Sirius Black (kid with long hair, on extreme left of the four boys) you used in the banner of 'No Rain'? ... just for quick remembering and if that might help you ... you used 'Dakota Fanning' (girl with a school bag) as Lily Evans in that banner too ... I know that it's been like so long since you've took the banner down ... and you might not remember it ... but if you can ... could you please reply to this review with the real name of that kid? ... and if you could ... with the actor/model's name you used as James (kid next to Sirius) too? ...
I'd really appreciate if you could ... or if any other readers/reviewers read this review (request more like) ... and answer ... if any of them remember that is ... so, waiting and checking for your reply.
Author's Response: Dakota Fanning was used as Maimee ;) This, the blonde hair.
Hm, I know I used Liam Aiken for James. For the life of me, I can't remember who I used for Sirius.
You're referring to the old, old banner. I have a new one for it now, so it's kind of hard to remember. Sorry I'm not much help :(
Too Sweet to Remember by Canadian Confessional
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 986]
Summary: Meet James Potter, a clever, somewhat mischievous, popular student at Hogwarts. He takes every situation in stride and has everything under control, except one: Lily Evans, an amazingly beautiful and intelligent individual. He loves her more than anything, but she despises him more than anything, and a not-so-impressive run-in late at night with her leaves James thinking that chasing after Lily might be hopeless. Then, a series of events happen in James' life, which is topped off by an unexpected visitor that makes his sixth year too sweet to remember.
This story is truly one of the very best here ... I think it was a brilliant idea of yours to write it from James's POV ... that makes it more interesting ... You've just surpassed 'Secret Lily' (very good author here) on the James/Lily fics ... and now you're the top of my list on James/Lily fics .... Keep writing! ... And Update Soon!
P.S: I find that most of the fics here have a 'fast-forwardish' and 'unreal' feel to them ... but you've just wiped that doubt from my mind.
Author's Response: OK, I must say that this review is very flattering. Upon reading this, I immediately felt a surge of inspiration and edited chapter 21 with utmost intensity and speed. So, thank you so much! I'm very happy that you like the story so far, and also how I wrote it from James's POV. I tried avoiding the "unreal" feel as much as I possibly could when writing this fan fiction. Thank-you once again, and I'll be sure to update as soon as the Queue re-opens.
