Summary: Sadie Murray is your typical American girl, stuck in the middle of her family. Sadie has an older sister who is popular, talented at everything she does, and lavishes in the respect she garners. Sadie's younger sister is pretty, adorable, cute, and uses these characteristics to cover up the fact that she's a nasty little brat. But Sadie's luck just might change when she receives a letter saying she has been accepted to The Salem Institute of Magical Learning.
Dear Author of Sadie Murray,
Hi! I liked the story so far and how Grace Slick was smelling! It must be terrible for her to tell her father this, Go Murray!
P.S. When will be next chapter's for this, and will there be anymore Sadie Murray stories, after year one?
Teddy Lupin's first year at Hogwarts. Canon-compliant. Nominated for a 2008 QSQ for best Post-Hogwarts story.
The war is over, and all is well, they say, but the wounds remain unhealed. Bitterness divides the Houses of Hogwarts. Can the first children born since the war's end begin a new era, or will the enmities of their parents be their permanent legacy?
I feel bad for Dewey Diggory, how he got hurt. Will any of the students. who got expelled come back to Hogwarts? Also will there be sequels for Hogwarts Houses Divied?
Author's Response: You'll have to wait and see what happens to the expelled students! As for sequels, right now I am writing the sequel to Alexandra Quick and the Thorn Circle, as I have finished Hogwarts Houses Divided (the remaining chapters will be posted as quickly as they are validated). But it's possible I may write a sequel to HHD in the future. Thanks for your review!
Summary: Nominated for the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Post-Hogwarts Story
When Albus, Rose, and Scorpius are put on the train to their first year at Hogwarts, their parents have simple hopes for them. Namely to have the normal, boring school years they never got to experience themselves. But sometimes, we ask too much of our children.
When the school becomes plagued by invasions of wild beasts, three different students from three different houses follow in the footsteps of the generation before them, but strive to achive the one thing none of their predesesors ever could: DON'T GET CAUGHT!
I read this story, alot of times! I can't wait for the next chapter and beyond to be posted! Will there be sequels to this story?
Author's Response: Well, I'm sorry to keep you waiting so long (a combination with writer's block, RL issues, and the tiny little fact that this fic is cursed). But chapter six is in the editing stages and it is going to be a very exciting (and long) one, so I hope you will wait just a little long. I'm glad you like the story, and yes, there are going to be more chapters and I'm hoping to make the Arcane ScoRA a series.
Winner of the 2008 Quick Silver Quills Award for Best General Story.
The first book in the Alexandra Quick series.
The war against Voldemort never reached America, but all is not well there. When 11-year-old Alexandra Quick learns she is a witch, she is plunged into a world of prejudices, intrigue, and danger. Who wants Alexandra dead, and why?
This story is canon-compliant with the Harry Potter universe, but the characters and settings are all original. I've put a lot of work into envisioning a world as detailed as the original series; I hope you enjoy it.
Dear Author of Alexandra Quick,
Hi! I have to ask a question. I was wondering if you could tell about the other school's of magic's in America? Can you post them on the Harry Potter fanon website?
P.S. I saw the Alexandra Quick on the Harry Potter fanon website and I am really looking forward to seeing the Lands Below, with the new character's! Oh, when is Lands below going to be posted?
Wow. I had never heard of the Harry Potter fanon website until now! I'm impressed that someone has put all that information about my stories on there, but it wasn't me.
You will learn a little more about some of the other American wizarding schools in Alexandra Quick and the Lands Below. It is being betaed now, so it should be posted in a month or two (I hope!)
Dear Author of Alexandra Quick,
Hi! I really liked this first story of Alexandra Quick! I have a couple of questions. What happend to Alex, when she was on the Thorn Cricle? Did someone come back or something? Just wondering. Also will Alexandra, get to see her father in the next story? One more thing, when will the next one of year two of Alexandra Quick to be posted and will she get to see her friend, Anna and go to her house?
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I don't quite understand your first question, though. What do you mean, "when she was on the Thorn Circle"? (Feel free to PM me, if you like.) As for your other questions, you'll have to read the next book to find out, but Anna will definitely be in it. ;) I am writing it now, and will be posting it later this year.
Neville stared down at the smouldering scrap of parchment. There, in neat handwriting that was not his own, was printed the name NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM.
When Neville's name emerges from the Goblet of Fire, the Boy-Who-Lived is thrust into his most dangerous challenge yet. For how can a boy with such limited magical ability possibly hope to survive one of the most gruelling and violent competitions in the Wizarding world?
The new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher takes Neville under his wing, but evil is growing nearer and not everyone is as they seem. Meanwhile new complications arise in Neville's life. How will he cope with these challenges, and what awaits him at the year's end? In Year Four, everything changes...
Dear Author of Neville Longbottom,
I liked this story! Also why did you make Neville, having the Holly and Phoenix Feather wand, insted of another wand? Also when are the next chapter's going to be posted?
Author's Response: Neville needs the brother wand to Voldemort because of what happens at the end of GoF. That's got to stay in or there's no reason for Voldemort to go after the Elder Wand in DH (I've got to think that far ahead) and I can't write a DH without the Elder Wand, that would be impossible (though I intend to take a somewhat different plot line with it). The next chapter (which covers the First Task) went in the queue yesterday (Monday). It usually takes either one or two weeks to validate, depending how busy the mods are.
Summary: It's Albus Potter's first year at Hogwarts. He makes friends, pulls pranks, and discovers the truth behind his father's horrible past.
But Albus Potter's first year of school is not to be completely peaceful. No, he, like his father, must rise to conquer a new enemy amongst his peers, and keep the peace in the wizarding world that his father worked so hard to bring.
Hi! I really like this story! I was wondering, when will the next chapter and beyond be posted?
I really liked, how this chapter got started! How it was part of the Deathly Hallows Epilogue! But, one thing, Scorpius Malfoy is alot like his father, and I would like to see some inprovement on his character.
P.S. Where does the name Jacinta come from?
Author's Response: The name Jacinta comes from the Greek work hyacinth, which has several meanings. First, as the Greek mythological hero Hyacinth or Hyacinthus. Second, it is a plant in the Liliaceae, or lily, family. And third, it is a gem which comes in various colours, including shades of red and yellow-gold (This last bit I thought was good as it fit Gryffindor's colours.)
Thanks for the review!
Summary: Eight year old Lily Potter, the spitting image of her mother, is brought up to know that family is important. She has been present at family reunions for as long as she can remember, and she absolutely loves her big family. One day she comes across a picture of a man she has never met before in a family photo album. Perplexed, she asks her father who the man is…
Hi! I really liked this fan fic! I have a question. I was wondering, do you think you can write a story about Albus Potter? Just wondering, because you did really good!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I might write a story centered around Albus Potter if I become inspired enough to come up with a decent plot for him, but right now I had some ideas for a few other stories about other members of the Weasley Clan- a Bill and Fleur fic, and perhaps a next generation fic more centered around Rose, which Albus would probably play a major role in but I don't think he would be the main character. At any rate, Real Life is extremely hectic at the moment, so any of my ideas are kind of on hold until things settle down a bit and I can actually find the time to write. Hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later. Itís really flattering of you to ask me to write something specific, though, and I canít tell you how much it means to me, so thank you so much!
