Bio:
The first thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian. I love God with my whole heart and I am eternally grateful to Him for sending His Son to die for me. If you have a problem with me about this or with Christians in general, feel free to keep your opinions to yourself because I KNOW MY GOD IS REAL AND NOTHING WILL CHANGE HOW I FEEL.

I'm Wes. I'm from the southern region of the US.

I love movies. Especially Hallmark movies. Sap is bomb. :)

I love to read. Among my favorite books (beside Harry Potter) are:
The Note -- Angela Hunt
The Homelanders Series -- Andrew Klavan
A Corner of the Universe -- Ann M Martin
Double Identities -- Margaret Peterson Haddix
The Hunger Games series -- Suzanne Collins

My favorite music is everything from country to Broadway.
My top 5 are probably:
1 Owl City
2 Sugarland
3 Alison Krauss
4 Brooks and Dunn
5 Kellie Pickler

I have a taste for history, and I can often be found watching educational channels.

I'm a poet, along with being an aspiring novelist.

I will probably never post any fanfiction, but I do greatly enjoy reading it.

This website has helped me make a ton of friends, and learn a lot more about writing.

Summary:

'Wake up, Sirius! We've got presents!'

The Black family weren't always torn apart.

Sirius loved them, once upon a time.

This was one of those days.

‘This was the best Christmas ever.’

~~~No Nitpicks
~~~Review:
This was a sweet, elegantly told story.
It showed how Sirius did not always hate his family, which is how I imagined it.
It showed, subtly, how times were going to be bad, how there would be hate.

Well told; well written!

Rating: 8.6/10

Author's Response: Thanks again!

This was a beautiful, well told story.

I always thought Alice was sane in her own mind too!

I'd love to see a story about her meeting her grandkids......

Well done.

9.9/10

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it.  Maybe one day I will do a sequel, though for now I plan to keep it like it is.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.

The Truth Behind the Hatred by mudbloodproud
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 11]

Summary: Severus Snape always hated Neville Longbottom. He treated him as bad if not worse than he treated Harry Potter.

Neville Longbottom has been teaching at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for fifteen years. Over the course of time, he has come in contact with the portrait of Severus Snape in the Headmistress’ office on several occasions.

It seemed dying had not lessened Snape’s hatred of Neville at all. What happens one day when Neville is asked to come to the Headmistress’ office and alone in the office, confronts Snape over his treatment of him? Will Neville finally learn the truth?

Seeing the look of pain on Snape’s face, Neville smiled inwardly.
-No matter how much we saw Neville harden in the last book, I don't see him smiling at another's pain, no matter who it is,

I loved this story; I thought it very believable besides the one line I nit-picked above.

You're in my favorite authors, and this story is a prime example of why,

I miss y'all on the forums, and I'm dying for November to come!!!!

Love,
Wes

Oh my. This was an amzing story! It's going on my Favorites list!

McGonagall is my favorite character from Harry Potter, and you characterized her perfectly!

I am a huggggge, hugggge fan of the ship Dumbledore/McGonagall, so this story was like it was written for me! Lol.

Great, great job!

Becca!

I am the most un-eloquent reviewer on the planet, so I'm just going to tell you that I LOVE IT!

If course, I already told you I loved it through PM, but since you're awesome and all, I figured I'd leave you a review to tell you again! :D

I especially like your characterization of Peter- he was written as a real friend, not just a tag-along.

-Wes!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you Wes! I love that you love it, haha. Peter was kind of tough for me; I didn't want to make him just another Sirius or James because that wouldn't have been right, but I don't think he was a tag-along at *all*, so it ended up as was, so thanks for your compliments on it! Thanks for being such a great beta :) {BeccA}
