Lol, loved it! I can actually see Ginny as a bit of a babbler but i've just got one question... Who did Hermione marry? If she's on her Honeymoon but Ron isn't, who've you got her shacked up with??? Lol, keep writing! This was great!

Author's Response: xD Eep... did it come out that way? Well, she's /technically/ supposed to be on her Honeymoon with dear Ron... But then, there's always the possibility that she suddenly fell madly in love with someone else - poor Ron - and married them the very next year. I have been writing, actually. Lots of writing. So...much...to...submit. And I'm putting the weird ones in first xS Don't know how that happened. Thanks so much for reviewing!

UPDATE: Guys, I'm back!

The innocence Iíve lost
The blood it's cost
Leaves unhealed scars within.
But I will not abate,
I will employ the hate
That has been planted deep inside.
I will not falter
Valor will not tire,
And I will survive
This trial by fire.

Many things are different now. Potions class is the least of the trio's worries. Battling dragons would be a welcome alternative to what it is they're attempting to battle now. The Order of the Phoenix is hallow without its leading member. And when someone close to Harry is stolen, Dumbledore's rhetoric of love, hope, and faith is challenged. Harry's strength and resolve are pushed to their limits. Loyalties are tested and new leaders emerge while Harry and Hermione struggle to balance new emotions and uncharted territory. Yet while this time after sixth year proves to be drastically unlike anything Harry's ever experienced, some truths remain, and some affections stand solid.

A novel-type story that explores the engimas of Snape, Horcruxes, war, and above all, the puzzle of love. HBP compliant. HHr.

Clair De Lune by Astrid Skywalker

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

It was full moon when the Dark Lord sealed a part of his soul within a magical amulet, and then broke it in half. One half was left to the faithful werewolves to guard. The other half was tossed into the impenetrable depths of time where no one but him could get it. When the first half has been found, the Order of the Phoenix selects Hermione Granger to go back into the past to search for the missing piece. What is waiting for her is a brutal task that will test her beyond her limits, and an undying love that extends beyond the boundaries of time.

No werewolves were harmed in the making of this story.

Lei, how have I never read this fiction before? I don't understand it! You are a truly amazing writer and this fiction is one of the best I have ever read. The emotion and plot in it are just amazing and it could fit into the books so amazingly I just can't believe it :) I can't wait for the next installment, what happens to Hermione??
You know I love the Ron/Hermione ship, thank you for adding that in, I really didn't think I'd enjoy a Hermione/Remus fic but you've sold me. This is definately something to read over and over and you totally deserve all and any awards it receives. *loves to her Badgery buddy* ~ Roxy

Oh My! Scrimgeour killed Harry? That is shocking!

Ok, and into my review... I really liked the plotline, government conspiracies and the war seem like a good pairing. The set up was great, splitting the dialogue with the details about the war worked well, although personally I would've liked to see a bit more discription in this section. Just any details that could help create the image clearly in your readers head would be great!

The whole fiction was very fast paced and I think a bit more detail would help to slow it down a little and let the reader become attached to your characters. Molly is a very warm character and Percy is less so, to make Percy's discovery of his mother even more profound we need to feel what he is feeling.

Overall, a very good story! The ending left me wondering what Percy would do about Scrimgeour and the twist was truly unexpected! Poor Molly, seeing what she did and then being thrown out of the wizarding world! Congratulations on your great fiction!

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing my fellow Badger! I will definately take note of your advice about adding description and slowing down for future stories. Maybe I also shoudn\'t write challenge fics at the last minute, if the rushed feeling is showing through. Some of my favorite stories are were the author leaves you thinking, so I glad you are.

Wow. That was truly amazing. There was no mention of their lives, magic, or anything HP and yet it is truly a non-canon romance. The way you managed to write this allows it to be different everytime you read it, as well as different and personal to each individual reader. The romance is true romance and not fluff and I love it for that fact. You really do deserve the nomination for the QSQs that this fiction recieved!
Well done!
~ Roxy

Author's Response: Thank you so much Rosie. I was peeking at the list in your non-canon thread in the QSQ section, and I\'m quite honoured to have received a 4 for this fic. Thank you for the equally lovely review! =D

Cross My Heart by Jules_411

What if you always knew the answers Ė the results of your decisions before making them? Then you could answer this:

Does everything happen for a reason?

Can love replace what is lost?

Can a promise be kept forever?

Would you cross your heart?

Thousands of thanks to my AMAZING beta and friend, Maddy (Hatusu)!! Her fic, Take My Heart Away, is simply the best piece of fanfiction I've ever been lucky enough to read. You're honestly missing out if you haven't read it yet.

Jules! Yet another amazing story from one of my favourite authors! I loved your characterisation of the young girls, Hermione sounded like me at some points which is actually quite scary!
I would've loved a friend like Emily, so sweet and caring. Very touching! Well done!

Author's Response: thanks, Roxy! It means a lot to me that you like it! Hope things are going well, I miss talking to you!

O Christmas Tree by stardust

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Christmas Eve never came so strangely to Sirius or Remus.

Prompt, "O Christmas Tree!"; Author, stardust; House, Hufflepuff.

That was very nice. I havn't read many fictions showing Sirius's point of view in the lead up to Lily and James' betrayal and it was refreshing to find an adult Sirius who is not yet the angsty godfather we see after his years in Azkaban. Your portrayal of this worried yet still fun-loving Sirius is most definatly true to canon.
Your imagery with the tree was lovely, the fireflies were glittering before my eyes as I read it. I loved how they used the natural surroundings to decorate their tree, it seems very Marauderesque although I'm not too sure why, perhaps because they always make something out of what they have.
I would've liked to have found out a bit more about Remus. At one point you say;

"Want to head back?"

"Do you mind staying here a bit longer?"

"Sorry," said Sirius. "I forgot."

What exactly did Sirius forget? Is there a reason why Remus needs time after his transformation to recover, is this a normal thing for werewolves? If you ever considered a re-write of this story, not that it really needs it, I believe a little more of Remus's story would add just that extra little detail that would make this fiction even better.
A thoroughly enjoyable one-shot. Well done and thank you!
Merry Christmas!
~ Roxy

Author's Response: Thank YOU, Roxy! =) Judging by your screename, you\'re a Sirius fan, so I\'m glad you think I did okay with his characterization! I love how you say he and the Marauders always make something out of what they have - I\'ve never heard it put that way but it really encapsulates their spirit.

Ahh, I was a bit vague there. All that was meant by it was that Remus was very tired after the transformation - thus he had to rest by the tree. I do hope to do a rewrite!! This was done for a contest and I finished with 15 minutes on the deadline! With that in mind, I\'m more than grateful for the feedback, as it\'ll help me with a second-draft. (And writing more of Remus is easy advice to heed! The other two stories I\'ve written are of him, and truth be told, I didn\'t expect this to be the story where I\'d give Sirius a go =))

Thanks again, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. =)

Lexi - that is so sad! Poor Ron and they were so nearly happy!

I think you've managed to capture that moment perfectly in your poem. It's sort of like Sirius's death, how he went from happy to stunned in that moment that seemed to go on forever.
This one moment which should be so full of happiness and hope as Voldemort has finally been killed is ruined by the death of one that we love.
I really hope JKR doesn't do this! :)

Congratulations on a very nice, yet very sad, poem!
~ Roxy

Author's Response: Thank you Roxy so much! I mean you\'ve helped me for a long time with my stories and I\'m so happy you like this one! I do agree with you that it is very sad and I don\'t want this to happen in DH! Thanks again fo rthe lovely review! ~Lexi~
