I'm so glad I returned to Mugglenet Fanfics and found this - amazing quality, especially after a lot of the junk on fanfiction.net (though there is plenty of good...). This fic was well written and the characters well-rounded. I loved how you hinted that Harry's perpetual guilt might have other roots (or if you didn't intend that, well...now you can sound all smart and literary!) I especially liked how you ended it, with the gift still unopened. I was a little disappointed at first because I wanted to know what it was, but it fit the story, it fit them, and it really was a fantastic end. Loved the story, keep up the incredible work.
