I noticed your story years ago before I had an account; I would never write fanfiction and cannot see myself doing it. I registered simply for the pleasure of being able to read some of the stories. Fanfiction has changed a lot over the years, and I found myself missing some of the 'older styles', if you'd excuse me for this term. Your story popped into my mind after TWO years and I decided to seek it out; strangely enough I still remember the name, seeing I have read perhaps hundreds of fanfiction over the years and was very enthralled by a lot of them. I don't know if you ever plan to finish this, or if you're going to be reading this review, even, but it'd be such a joy if you decide affirmative. Needless to say, this story has me captivated. Yes, I'm aware this is just another 'nag' review, but I can't tell you how much it'd be a shame of this story wasn't continued.
Author's Response: I really, really appreciate your lovely words! And yes, I find myself surprised that I'm even back, but lately I feel more like writing than I have in the past few years... I'm thinking about picking up this story once again and concluding it...and it is great to know that someone is as taken with it as I am when I reread it...thanks again. :)
He loves her, but they are over. She loves him, but hates him, too. Neither is willing to take the step needed to get back to each other. Then, one ring changes it all. Can she forgive him in time to save him from himself?
Warning: I tried an open ending. Rated for use of expletives...
Is it pure coincidence that I read your fic days after I discovered Apologize? The song was great, the story was great. Just... Wow. Since you didn't dictate whether Draco died, I wouldn't either. I know many people would have decided for themselves one way or the other, but I don't think I see the need. Keep writing!
Author's Response: Awww... I'm so flattered! Haha, coincidences for the win! I only heard the song a few hours before I heard the song, and I seriously remember thinking This would be a great songfic... And then planning it in the car, forgetting all about it (I go through roughly twelve stupid story ideas a day), then remembering once I got home and deciding to write it. Thanks for your review! Since I've already given away most of my Potterverse possessions to other reviewers, you'll have to take Harry's mismatched socks... I never really knew whether or not people really wore two different-patterned socks in the Wizarding World or if it was just Dobby's conception of it... I just can't imagine Draco walking around in one purple and one orange sock, can you?
