Iím typing out what ever random thought process I have, so, bear with me.
About me: Iím a talker who loves being home schooled, her 1930ís house (itís the style of house, not the way itís decorated), family, friends and her faith. Iím Italian and Irish, which means my familyís pretty loud. On my dadís side of the family I have 9 cousins, it seems like more mostly because 2 of them are over 6 foot and 1 is 6 foot. All the Irish and Italian comes from my dadís side and Iím a mix of a lot of other things on my momís side. On my momís side of the family I have 7 cousins and one cousin by marriage, but my momís the youngest of her sisters and brother by 12 years, so, yeah.
My random loves are: Pandas, kitties (especially my kitty, Ella Rose), playing piano, reading, writing, ballroom dancing, swimming, and my quilt (I made it my self).
My reading loves are: Harry Potter (of course), the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, books by Andrew Clements (I donít think any of them are actually in a series), the first 3 Narnia books (The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader), Fair Weather (itís not one of those books you think youíd read again, but you do), The Scarlet Pimpernel which ROCKS (even though I kind of guessed the ending), the Skulduggery Pleasant series, and I'm reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
My music loves: As I said I play the piano and my favorite piece to play is definitely Dawn from the 2005 movie version of Pride and Prejudice, and I'm learning Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked right now. My favorite individual tracks to listen to are: On and On, Drops of Jupiter, Thatís How You Know, Rocket Man, Free Falling, Vincent and I also like The Call, but you canít buy it with out buying the sound track from Price Caspian. In musicals I like The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Jesus Christ Super Star, Hello, Dolly!, My Fair Lady, West Side Story and the song 'On My Own' from the musical Les Miserables.
My favorite movies are: Pride and Prejudice, Nancy Drew, Sense and Sensibility, The Importance of Being Ernest, The Princess Bride, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (I may not like Orlando Bloom, but hey, thereís still Geoffrey Rush!).
My 2 favorite actors are: Alan Rickman and Geoffrey Rush, both of who ARE AMAZING!!!
The latest thing I did that hurt: if you donít count the burn I got on my arm (it did hurt, but I have a story to tell), was falling over in to a rose bush wearing a blind fold. I did not fall over on purpose, we were playing a game and, yes, I did put the blind fold on my self. It hurt and for a few days my leg looked like some thing out of a horror movie, but its all better now, no scars or any thing, even though I never put the cream on that I was supposed to.
I DONíT like most famous people that the rest of the world likes, in fact I pretty much set my self against them, e.g. the Jones Brothers, Orlando Bloom (maybe the Jones Brothers are just a tween girl thing, but theyíre sort of on my hate/dis-like list, theyíre faces bother me).
I have written a fanfic but itís kind of odd, so Iím still debating if I should try to submit it.
Any who, I'm REALLY, REALLY random, some times I like to say 'meow!', and I like quotes. Even though you are probably really, really tired of me, because every thing I write ends up to be long, I have just one more thing to say (and then I promise I'm done):
GOD DIED FOR ME, I LOVE GOD, AND GOD LOVES ME!
That's kind of catchy...
Summary: "I'm Harry. Harry Potter," the man smiled as he reached out a welcoming hand, "and who are you?" "Brian. Brian Harrison," the boy lied. He could feel the sadness rise in him as they shook hands, as if meeting for the first time.
That was so sweet. Simple, yes, and short. But amazing. And now I should go, before I kill the key board with tears...
Summary: WARNING! This story contains a jingle-bell antler headband, a shower of potatoes, boy/girl mushiness, underwear karaoke, family trouble, an excessively adorable werewolf, death, the song "Werewolves of London," betrayal, and the word 'Jordan' five times in a row near the beginning of chapter seven.
Twenty-one years after Voldemort's defeat, five fourth-years are faced with a new threat. Will all of the five stay true to the light side? Will they all emerge whole in the end? Will Jordan Potter ever get a life? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll sigh! Part one in a trilogy!
Well, after much deliberation and consideration, I've decided to submit my future-gen trilogy! This particular installment is three years old, so it's definitely different from my current writing style, but I'm quite fond of the characters.
DH is disregarded. It's a total coincidence that one of the main characters is named Ted Lupin.
Starring Quicksilver Quills 2008 Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, and Emma Weasley, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin!
Five times nominated (once for each member of Potter's Pentagon!) for the Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards, and nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards...
That's my Birthday! The 28th of October I mean. Sorry, I just get excited when I see some thing that has to do with me. I'll be 24 by that date. Hm...that's kind of interesting. BTW I like the chapter titles.
Author's Response: Awww, thanks! Though I\'m very sorry that you had to share your birthday with a massacre of Muggles. :( My birthday is April 14th, and I share it with the Lincoln assassination, the Titanic sinking, and Napoleon\'s exile!
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?
Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.
This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.
Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!
I love the ending. It was so cute! Voldypoo is happy! :) My favorite part is definitely:
He closed his eyes, rolling the creamy confection around the inside of his mouth… and promptly doubled over, gagging and hacking. “Absolutely dreadful,” he wheezed, clawing at his tongue to scrape the flavour away. “That’s nothing but frozen lard! Why do you even sell it?”
Florean smiled sagely. “You’d be surprised by how popular it is,” he said. “People always want what they know they shouldn’t have. Like, say, power over the cosmos.”
“I deserve that!” snapped Voldemort.
It's so fun just to be able to sit down and read some ting that's funny but doesn't have a complex story line after running around trying to find more lemonade powder mix (don't ask).
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I had waaay too much fun writing this story. OH MY GOSH, I\"VE BEEN DESPERATELY WANTING LEMONADE FOR THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS. THANKS FOR REMINDING ME.
Summary: When Hermione runs (in a loose sense of the word) into Oliver Wood years after leaving Hogwarts, she thinks that nothing's changed about him. The more time she spends with him, though, she more she realizes that he's different after all -- or perhaps she never noticed who he was.
This story is based on an Aqualung song of the same title.
Ohhh, that was so sweet! I can totally picture the scene when Ginny drags the boys of while Hermione's talking to Wood at the Quidditch (Don't know how to spell) match, Hermione with a hand over her eyes, Wood kind of going 'Isn't that them...' and Ginny dragging the boys off going 'come on boys, we're laving!'.
The title fit so perfectly (which would be why you chose it, sorry it's late)! But for some reason I picture Hermione having some weired, like, Pride and Prejudice English accent, don't ask me why. I've read several of your other stories, they're all fantastic, and this one's no different!
Summary: This is book two in the "Potter's Pentagon" trilogy. Read "Potter's Pentagon: The Five" first, myesss? Cool.
WARNING: This story contains French people, an internal monologue about a blue orange, adolescent facial hair, good old-fashioned snogging, superstitious truck drivers, a portrait who calls everyone "Mavis," a zoo break-in, some very strange clothes, romantic conflict galore, and Ron Weasley's caffeine addiction. And worst of all, Professor Zabini!
Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and when one of the members of Potter's Pentagon is selected to represent the school, much excitement ensues. Simultaneously, elections are being held for Minister of Magic, and things are getting busy at the Ministry.
Not to mention the fact that Jordan's made a new Muggle friend without informing her of the itty-bitty fact that he's magical, Haley has found an enchanted diary of dubious origin, Ted's met a werewolf from Beauxbatons, and Emma... well, Emma's not having a good year.
And what exactly is Ivy up to, anyway?
Everyone has secrets. But in the end, the truth will have to come out.
Starring Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character Nominees Ivy Potter, Emma Weasley, Haley Potter, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards!
Hello again! I think you asked me a question in your answer to my review so I thought I would answer it! I was talking about the song 'Wonderful' from 'Wicked'. Sorry it took me so long to answer, I was out of town for two weeks (I've decided that's way to long to be gone from home). Two more quick things. After you pointed out that you didn't like hugs it came to me that that is probably the sort of thing I was comparing myself to Jordan about (I do like to hug my friends some times, though). And number two: I think 'Squee' is positively to much fun to say!
Author's Response: A-HA! *Is a ditz* Yeah, the difference between me and Jordan in the hugging department is that Jordan just doesnt like to be touched. I think hugging is an emotional thing... so hugging when I dont; think it\'s an emotional moment cheapens the moment. And yes, I do indeed say squee!
I'm sorry if I've all ready posted this review but I tried to delete it to fix some things (don't ask) then I thought it didn't work but when I looked again I couldn't find it, so I figured I some how deleted it but if I didn't I beg your forgiveness *takes deep breath, wipes brow*. Now we are starting with the actual review!
I thought I would tell you: Your story is wonderful (And I love that song, not that that has any thing to do with this)! It has plot, funnynes, (or whatever you call that...humor, I guess) romance (Yay! Tyrone and Emma!) and... (Drum roll please) a beginning and a end! I'm very bad at the ending part and usually only have a beginning some middle and pretty much no end...so I commend you for your ending. I noticed that other people were doing this so I decided to do it to!
Favorite OC: Hmm...I guess I like Ted, Giorgi and Ivy but all the characters are so easy to like it's hard to chose just a few!
Least favorite OC: Charybdis, I guess. She's so snide all the time and most of the stuff she says, to me, doesn't seem all that smart aleck-y and daunting (no offense to the author). Though I have a hard time under standing why the characters listen to her so much and obsess over what she says (I don’t go to public school though so I've never really had to deal with any one like Charybdis).
I remember when I was reading the first book thinking that I was sort of like both Jordon and Haley. I can defiantly see my self in Haley, I get really excited all the time, but I don't like sparkly things all that much. But I don't really remember what I saw about Jordon in my self.
Keep up the good work! Post the new book soon please! Have a good exam (If there is such a thing and there not over yet as I said before I don't go to public school and don't know about these things)!
Author's Response: Yep, it did get deleted the first time, don\'t worry. Thanks so much! (Which song did you love? I can\'t remember a song, but I\'m not the brightest kid on the block.) This is a really lovely review, and I\'m glad that you liked Ivy, because she\'s always been my least favourite of the bunch, and she needed a little love. As for Charybdis, I hate her so much... I hate her both as a person and as a character, because I feel like she\'s poorly written and she needs more... depth, but then when I try to give her more depth in the next book, she just is annoying. Ah well, the reason why the characters obsess over what she says is that they know that since she has absolutely no tact, everything she says is true, and she can really manipulate their insecurities. You\'re right, though, she\'s really not clever at all. I\'ve never had to deal with anyone like her before either, because she\'s unrealistic and real people aren\'t like her! ^_^
\r\nI think I\'m like both Haley and Jordan, too-- Haley in the hyper-ness and musical theatre aspect of things, but I do not like pink and sparkles all that much, and I\'m not touchy-feely. My Jordan-ness comes from not liking hugging, having similar tastes in music, being rather cynical, and generally how I act when I\'m insecure or in a bad mood (basically, I\'m Haley with my friends and Jordan in private.)
\r\nI did indeed finish my exams-- today was THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! (But there\'s a different last day of school for all sorts of things.) Thanks so much!
Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums: A Potter's Pentagon Love Story by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 265]
Summary: A companion piece to the Potter's Pentagon trilogy... it's better if you've read the Potter's Pentagon trilogy, but you don't necessarily have to.
It's five years after Emma Weasley and her chums graduated from Hogwarts. Ted and Ivy are married, Haley is working at Madame Puddifoot's while trying desperately to break into show business, Jordan's doing whatever it is he does, and Emma is an Auror trainee working as a guard at the Chudley Cannons' stadium. The Cannons have actually been doing much better lately, due to their new star Beater, Tyrone Thomas. Unfortunately, Tyrone is Emma's ex-boyfriend. OH, THE AWKWARDNESS.
Follow Emma through her awkward adventures told in her usual insane way, as she experiences angst, hilarity, obnoxiously strange people, misadventures involving a deceptively dashing cad, Haley's wedding, the birth of Ted and Ivy's baby, and her own eventual descent into LURRRVE.
Written for the marvellous Vindictus Viridian's Pride and Prejudice NEWTs class on the Fanfiction Beta Boards, based on Jane Austen's fantastic novel, "Pride and Prejudice.".
Nominated in the 2008 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Non-Canon Romance Story! And its lovely (haha) heroine, Emma Weasley, received two nominations for Best Female Original Character, while Haley Potter and Ivy Potter each received one! Thanks so much, guys!
Haha, sparkly. I guess I didn’t realize that was a reference, I don’t read Twilight. This is reminiscent of this time my family was playing Catch Phrase; this game where you have a little card with a word on it and you try and describe the word to your team, with out actually saying the word, the point of the game being that your team mates would guess the word using your description. Any way, we were playing the game and it was my cousin’s turn and he was only 9 at the time and wasn’t very good at the game and the first thing he used to describe the word was ‘What do you say before you do a cannonball?’ To which his brother, another one of my cousins (I have 9 on that side), answered by holding up one of his hands and saying ‘I have an important announcement to make!’ The word was actually ‘bonanza’ but we liked what my cousin said, so some times we’d tell the story, thinking it was very clever; until he told us about 3 months later that it was from a movie or something. So, I had been telling this story for about 3 months thinking my cousin was so clever, when really he was just quoting, so maybe this is just me role in life, to be ignorant, which actually doesn’t sound so bad.
Even being a some what up beat person I have to say some times Haley has toooo much energy. I am NOT a morning person, and definitely do not like being woken up by singing in the morning, even though I often do get woken up because of my sisters i-Pod/alarm clock thing. A close second for not wanting to be woken up by is some one yelling 'THAT'S RIGHT WOODCHUCK-CHUKERS! IT'S GROUND HOG DAY!' Of course, that happened too and it was wasn't much fun ether.
Any who, back to the story. "She looked at me like I was wearing a dead gorilla on my head."' Haha, I can just see that face. Ohhh, Collins, I mean, Patrick, is so badddddd. Though I can kind of see why he did it. THE RETURN OF FIDO!!!! Yippee! Even though I don’t really even like toads, I mean, frogs (I did that on purpose, I know it’s a toad, but I just finshed reading Eldest from the inheritance cycle, and one of the characters insist there are now toads, they’re all just frogs). Of course, very funny chapter title. Until the next chapter, best of luck, avoid roasted cabbage, don't eat earwax, and look on the bright side of life!
Author's Response: Thank you! I actually strongly dislike Twilight, but I love to make fun of it. ANd I love the game Catch Phrase! My family plays it all the time! Awww, I liked that anecdote. The best thing about having strange and silly things happen to you is, they work GREAT for using in stories later on. Pretty much everything in this story is inspired by my real life, believe it or not!
I am not a morning person either, but I share a room with my little sister, who is, in many ways, Haley, and in other ways is her polar opposite. My sister is very much a morning person and is very chirpy and LOUD in the morning. (However, she's also habitually left-brained, organized, disciplined, obsessed with cleaning and cooking, a straight-A student, and is never overdramatic, unlike Haley.)
I love frogs. I've had four pet frogs over the years, and I absolutely adore them. Hey, how did you know I like to eat roasted cabbage and earwax? (Hahaha, kidding )
I was so excited when my sister told me that there was a new chapter of ‘Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums’. It’s so Emma to be excited by some one being stabbed in the bathtub. Speaking of the guy who go stabbed in the bathtub, today is the anniversary of the stabbing. At least so says my sister, who read it in the local paper. Our local paper has a list of interesting historical things that happened on the date that the paper is delivered. This was the first one on the list. The paper also said that the girl who did the stabbing was executed four days later, yuck, all I’ve got to show in injuries is falling over in to a rose bush wearing a blind fold (I know, I’m weird). Any ways, I LOVED the vibrato part, I told it to my Father and he thought it was funny, too. I also loved ‘The Dark Lord’s’ blog, but just haven’t reviewed it. I’m constantly quoting: ‘I-N-C-O-R-R-E-C-T spells wrong!’. Sorry this turned out so long! Keep posting (more P&P and The Truth!).
Author's Response: Ooh, there seems to be new formatting on the review page. Melikes it. Anyway, thank you so much! TODAY IS BASTILLE DAYYYYY! The day that everyone decided to free all the prisoners from jail, except there were only seven people in it. LAWL. Anyway, the girl who executed Marat, according to legend, blushed and looked upset AFTER HER HEAD HAD BEEN CUT OFF when the executioner slapped her cheek. The Truth is totally complete, but I submitted the third book; let's hope it's accepted soon.
Yeah so I read this WEEKS ago and even had my review written, but for some reason never posted it :P I some how missed the update email, not sure how that happened....But I was so utterly thrilled to find that there was a new chapter it made up for almost everything (not exactly sure what needed to be made up for but that's beside the point). I nearly died of laughter at the caption on the picture of Ted in the paper, fit Emma's description perfectly. But le gasp! What is this! Tyremma shipiness?! Yay! Well it sort of is, we're moving in the right direction at least. Soooo little confused does Tabitha still live with Tyrone or not? Because at first he said 'my sister left some of her stuff' like she had moved out then later he said 'I couldn't find a shirt I didn't think she'd miss' so did she move out and is coming back for her stuff later or what? Trowel troll, he he. My mom loves gardening, and about once a year I get roped into beheading dead flowers, but other wise I’m happy enough to have nothing to do with it! ^_^ Have a good Saturday and an even better week!
Author's Response: Whoa, hello there! This review definitely made me happy. Anyway, Tabitha goes to Hogwarts-- she's a seventh year. So this is during the schoolyear. She lives with him over the summer and on breaks. Sorry I wasn't clearer about that!
Soooo, Anna is currently being a terrible reader and not writing a review for The Past on like, five chapters. Seriously (I'm actually trying to read the other chapters before I review them, not just skim them, don't worry, it's 'cause I want to, but it's taking some time, so we'll just have to see how this goes). But, I will start slowly by doing just P&PJP right now. :D (I actually smile like that!) So anyway, I was in a reallllly bad mood when I started reading this, and when I get in a bad mood, I get stubborn, and it sometimes takes me awhile to get out of it and I just have to sit there an simmer for awhile, but, luckily, with the help of this new chapter, brownies, and my cat I feel much better, and the chapter was the main thing there. Anyway I totally loved this chapter, especially because I love this scene in the movie, it's just so full of energy and Matthew Macfayden and Keira Knightly are just so good! I think you did a really good job of transfer the scene into your story, and I love how the lines sometimes corresponded to the movie, that was great.
Ted's letter was so disgustingly mushy (actually I think I would love it if I guy sent that to me, it's just kinda like, awkward, when you're reading it when it's somebody else's ^_^) that it was kinda funny, but I would soooo not like transforming into werewolf with out the wolfsbane potion *shudders* not being in control. I kind of ended up doing the last part of the chapter before the P&P review first, so if you could just sorta insert that here, that would be good, yeah.
Again with the ROFL P&P review! I have to laugh every time I hear Bilbo Collins; and Lady C is as awful as always (I've actually seen her in another movie where she's the same kinda awful aunt). Darcy 'sneaking around on the shadows' made me laugh. :) Also, it seems to me that we really only have maybe four or five chapters left, could that be so? Is this dear precious story coming to an end? *tears of sadness* T_T But, anyway, that chapter was great, and completely hilarious as always :)
P.S. I would so love to be your friend on facebook, so I'll message you about that. ^_^
P.P.S. I'm sure something is messed up with this review, because I didn't proof read it all that well, so just kinda skim over whatever part that would be and make it work, pretty please?
Author's Response: Hey, you are clearly not being a bad reader. You're giving me this great big review. Haha, your description of you in a bad mood reminds me of Ema. But I do like that scene from the movie. I discovered the other day that if I jut my lower jaw out and push my hairline back with my hands, I can do a frighteningly accurate Keira Knightley impersonation, and I was standing in the mirror reinacting that scene. I don't make a very good Matthew Macfayden, though! It's bizarrely fun to write these scenes that are my Potter's Pentagon version of those from the book!
Yeah, Ted's letter is supposed to make you feel as awkward and embarrassed as possible, since the story is from Emma's point of view! But I'm glad you liked the Pride and Prejudice review! There are about five or six chapter to come, but fear not, they are looooonnng, eventful chapters! Thank you so much for your review, missy, and I'd be thrilled to facebook friend you!
His fears? Flying...his own wand...fitting in...sticking out! His best friends? A passionate fire-breathing cousin, and a cool, aloof Death Eater's son. His destiny? Anything but ordinary!
Join Albus as he experiances his first year at Hogwarts and begins the journey out from under his father's collosal shadow, if he can survive it of course!
Meet the new Tenacious Trio, Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, and Rose Weasley
I like the chapter title. Yay! There's a kitty in the story! I love kitties (obviously)!
Yes Kublai is one cool kitten! Stay tuned because if you like Kublai...you're gonna flip over the Transfiguration proffessor!
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!
WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichťs galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.
It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?
New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.
Starring 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, Emma Weasley, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Post-Hogwarts Story.
Haha! Tyrone and Emma are so cute together! *Squeezes them together in a meaningful way*
Inter house unity...hmmm. We'll see how THAT goes.
I think secretly that what's his name Ivy's brother *smacks forehead* still can't remember his name, Ophidias, feels bad about what he did. Okay, maybe it's a long shot, and I have done things like this before while I'm reading books, going 'they could let him out (from jail) to help fight! Only I guess there is the small chance that he could turn on them, ok, maybe it's not the best idea'. So I think I'm just for people turning on their old ways, and that it doesn't actually always happen. Ah well.
Have a good time in New York! It sounds really fun. One of my friends just had a birthday party where every one dressed up like their favorite musical character, I was Marian the librarian from the music man.
Yay! We got to meet Tabitha! Sorry, forgot to say that earlier. Please continue to up date your wonderful story!
Author's Response: Mehehehe, we certainly WILL see how Inter-House Unity goes. As for Ophidias, I thought that what you said was "I think secretly that Ivy's brother can't rememeber his name." And I was like, "ermm, why would Ophidias not be able to remember his own name?" Now I get it! DUDE. I need to meet your friends. (Don't worry, I'm not a creepy online stalker, I just think that idea is cool.) I would probably dress up like SIR PERCY BLAKENEY from "The Scarlet Pimpernel"-- that's who I was for Halloween. Year before, I was King Arthur from Spamalot. Next year, I think I'm going to be Ursula the Sea Witch, because I really, really loved The Little Mermaid.
I'm having the same problem, summary no chapter. But a funny summary as always! Ohh. Some one gets killed. That's very bad.
Author's Response: This keeps happening to me. :( I'm going to go talk to those mods. *Macho face*
Yay! Another chapters up! This would be so much easier if my computer would let me put your story in to my favorites! But it won't, so, disappoint. I'm so glad Giorgi got to go shopping with them *crosses first thing of list of things on summary* I'm also very proud of my self because I got the Beatles reference about the four men crossing Abby road, it would actually be kind of hard for me not to, seeing as my sister, Rhian Elizabeth, has a t-shirt with the picture of them crossing Abby road.
OH NOOOO! Trouble for dear sweet little Ivy! My favorite character!
I'm sorry, I'm just not as worried for Ron. I know, I know your going to say I'm evil and all that, but Ivy's just a kid, well, kind of. It would be really nerve racking to go to court and possibly (But definitely not hopefully) have to go and live with some one who hates you and is just trying to cause trouble.
I keep going around and quoting "Hey Ted! Hi Ivy! TOADS ARE COOL!" That's so awesome, but it all so made me laugh with the bit about him jumping up in down with the chines take-out box.
Happy birthday ringobeatlesfan4! That's so cool that your birthday is the day after DH came out. Also I can totally sympathize with relations forgetting your b-day. My aunt and uncle forgot mine last time, even though it's the day after they're sons and we sent him birthday greetings. Ah well.
Another cool, awesome, and completely wonderful chapter (if I seem more weirder then usual it would be because I got up at 6 today on account of a thunder storm, I don’t wake up for them, I wake up because of them)! Good work! Keep posting!
Author's Response: Your computer won't let you favourite my story? That's pretty weird. I wonder why that is... I wouldn't bother with the crossing out things in the summary-- at least one of them doesn't happen 'till the Epilogue! Congrats for guessing about Abbey Road! *Blows an obnoxious party blower in your face* I'm glad you like Ivy... she's always been my least-favourite of the bunch, and I think it shows a bit too much sometimes. I still like her, but not as much, so she doesn't get as much love and I worry about that sometimes. She does some pretty awesome things later in this story-- definitely her best moments are in this book. I won't say you're evil for saying that about Ron... don't you worry. Just because I'm madly in love with Ron doesn't mean that everyone else in the world needs to be.
My friends and family all know my birthday, April 14, because I'm constantly walking around saying that it's the same day as the Lincoln Assassination, the Titanic crashing, and Napoleon's exile. After hearing that so much, people tend not to forget it! Find out cool stuff that happened on your birthday and annoy people with it, and they'll never forget! So glad you liked the story!
Sorry, another thing. I LOVE the chapter title. It was, of course, the first thing I saw and I went: "Oh, this is going to be great!"
Author's Response: Awww, thanks so much! Honestly, if Tyrone weren't so attractive and athletic and popular, he'd be the biggest dork in the school, I swear. If you've ever seen the TV show "Reba," he reminds me SOOOO much of Van Montgomery.
Hello! I fell like an awful reader, this has been posted for over a week and I haven’t reviewed. Yikes! The only excuse I can give is that I got the newest book from the Inheritance/Eragon series and have been reading that. Booooookkkkk…
POOR TEDWARD! Every thing seems to happen to him doesn’t it? And my friend was right, but pie is good any way. I thought that Tyrone and Emma’s conversation before going to the hospital wing was kind of fake, it seems more likely the Emma would just knock Tyrone out and drag him off and Ted off to the hospital wing. Must I be so picky? I don’t actually now the answer to that question, but THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT! Ivy’s so protective, and Anatoly was so nice! Bad Haley should…do…some thing…. Sorry, writing reviews and listening to music obviously isn’t one of my strong points. *Starts singing The Music Man*
RETURN OF THE MIDDLE NAME JOKE! And the mustache/spliching thing was great, I’m glad the mustache is gone. ^_^ I don’t really like mustaches in general, but on a 16 year old? *Shudders* that’s just scary. I can only hope that none off my guy friends decided to grow mustaches (That means YOU Ryan!). ‘Overachiever Bandit’, hehehe. But, I do find it kind of amazing that they any of could actually apparate that soon, excluding Jordan, considering how long it took the group in Half-blood Prince. And, yay, art contest results! Congrats everyone who won and sent stuff in, it all looked great!
The ‘jello’ thing was because when I first typed ‘hello’ at the top; of the review I hit j instead of h so it said ‘jello’ and I thought it was too much fun to leave out. ^_^
Author's Response: Now, now, don't make me feel like a whip-cracking dictator who forces people to read my stories! Hahaha, your friend is right. I always say 'I like pie' when I don't like a question, so keep an eye out for when I say that... As for Emma and Tyrone, you have to remember that Emma and Tyrone are now friends (at least, for the time being). She doesn't always hate him. Right now, she's at that stage where she feels like there's no harm in simply being friends for the time being. But yeah.
I love the Music Man. It's such a fun show to be in...
Unfortunately, Tyrone's "mustache" will grow back. The Overachiever Bandit is from Teen Girl Squad, hehehe. Yeah, Jordan Apparated really quickly because he's a flippin' genius, but as you'll see from the next chapter, no one else managed it, over several months. I think the only reason why Tyrone came close is that he's really athletic and good at focusing and controlling his body like that. And also because I thought it'd be funny to splinch his moustache.
My friend asked me if I could post her review for her, because her computer is having problems with signing on to MNFF. Here's her review:
I reread the scenes where Ted almost passed out in potions, and then bends over to get water out of the faucet, (Which I've done a few times, funnily enough...) then I went and looked in the encyclopedia, and I discovered that he shows a lot of the symptoms of diabetes! Am I anywhere near right?
Author's Response: I like pie.
Freaks out WHAT? The nominations closed before I could nominate my favorite author! Shock! Now I feel like my friend, Bedila (that’s not actually her name) she used to do that all the time, stand up straight, which is really tall, because she’s insanely so, and put one hand in front of her mouth and say ‘shock!’. Ok, that was completely random rambling. To the story, I found this chapter rather unfulfilling and just one of those things that are needed to move the plot along (which is always a good thing…right?). I don’t even really like songs in musicals like that, for instance ‘Something Bad’ from Wicked. I think this just goes to show that I’m even MORE weird, if that’s even possible, in a sort of all-bad-things-can-come-and-conquer-as-long-as-Tyrone-marries-Emma, sort of way; these chapters are definitely needed, even if I don’t like them pouts.
I must have been have asleep, or some thing, when I read this chapter, because after reading through some reviews, it was sort of a revelation of, ‘What? That was in the chapter? That’s so funny! Why didn’t I remember this…’ And also, from reading the reviews, I was a little confused by the ‘hp in purple letters’ too (from when Haley turns on the computer). After reading a review (forget which one) I now understand, but, as this person pointed out, the ‘hp’ sign is usually white.
The genealogy sounds so cool! I think genealogies are awesome and fun to look at. I also love Antonaly’s sarcasm, ‘Hi Haley!’, sarcasm is too much fun. “Well, I liked working with Tabitha. She’s cool.” Tyrone grinned. “Yeah, I know. It’s a family trait.” Tyrone is extremely full of him self, but, some how it’s funny, which reminds me of a quote (a lot of things I do start this way) that goes some thing like: “I’ve been fighting for eternity, kid. My strength is unlimited and I can not die. What have you got?” A smaller ego, I thought, but I said nothing. And one last note, I’ve almost officially decide that Merlin is going to join the ranks of fictional characters I ‘love’. There are actually only two currently; Consider your self lucky! :) (Can you tell I’m extremely tiered?)
Author's Response: I'm prety surprised that we had such a short time for nominations... there were like eight people and stories I wanted to nominate, and I never got the chance to. It made me feel like a horrible person. I think I know what you mean about this chapter being just there to move the plot along, and I TOTALLY agree about "Something Bad" from "Wicked." However... I have to tell you-- this story is REALLY, REALLY long, much longer than either of the first two Potter's Pentagons, so the majority of the chapters will be this type of chapter. I promise that there will be some interesting events coming, though.
Ah, the 'hp' sign being white... hmmm... it's been awhile since I've had an hp computer. This is set in the future, so I'm guessing that future computers have a different colour logo? ^_^ I'm so laaaame.
I love that quote. I have no idea what it's from, but I like it. And it's great that you like Merlin, because he's a character I've always been fascinated with.
Oh no! After my completely wayyyyy to long review I forgot to say, “I LOVE SPINY CHAIRS!” There, now I’ve said it.
Author's Response: Hahaha, who doesn't?
Hello! For starters, awesome chapter! I will try and review in full later, but I had to say these two things really quickly before I forget them. One, I was thinking, maybe Jordan sees alternate endings to things that have already happened. I dunno, it’s a really a really odd idea and it doesn’t really work all that well. Or maybe some one is putting these dream things in his head? Like with Harry when Voldy put the picture of Sirus. Ok, that was ALL really weird, but moving on. Two, the other day I was playing Cruella DeVil on the piano, and the weirdest idea came to me, a sort of spoof of 100 and 1 Dalmatians where Ron and Hermione are the dogs, but human, and the puppies would be their kids (ok, that was kind of obvious) and Victor Crum (I don’t think that’s how you spell that) is Cruella DeVil and he’s perhaps a cannibalist. Which reminds me of a quote…AH NO! Bad me, getting back to review. There is actually no more on that last thought, that’s really as far as I thought. Both of those ideas were rather odd, but it’s been a loooooong day and I think I have swimmers ear, and it is very painful, but not meaning to complain. ^_^ Good luck on the audio auditions, I’d be really interested to find out what your voice sounds like, not that it really matters! And now I will say ‘adios’ before I come up with any other weird ideas. Really quickly, Tyrone and Emma’s birthdays are really close to mine. Yay, I’m no officially a year older! But what year? *queue sinister music* SO, Todalo! I must be really tiered….
Author's Response: HELLLOA! Oooh, I really, really like those ideas. Can't tell you how accurate they are, but mhmhmhmhmh. OH MY GOSH. That weird thing about Viktor Krumis the strangest thing I've ever heard, but I really love it. I won't be able to stop thinking about that for years.
Sorry about your ear! Weird, weird things are always happening to my ear-- usually the lobe portion because I wear humongous dangly earrings everyday that KILL my ears-- and they are NOT FUN! Oooh, it's cool to have Tyrone and Emma's birthday's so close to yours. Ivy's is close to mine (mine's April 14th, hers is... the 19th, I seem to remember?) By the way, my voice sounds like an ill elephant impersonating Elvis!
No it doesn't, but I'll let you go around thinking that forever now, mwahahah!
