Monty Python and the Goblet of Fire by Rosemunde
Rated: [Reviews - 101]
Summary: "Monty Python and the Goblet of Fire" explores the profound question of what scenes from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" would be like if they were done as Monty Python sketches. Here the fic begins. A parody of the "Swedish subtitles" bit during the beginning credits of "Monty Python and The Holy Grail." Written for a GoF parody challenge. Rated PG-13, because I'm unsure of the language factor. (Disclaimer: I don't own anything related to Monty Python, JK Rowling, or the owners of the Unofficial Monty Python site, who helped me out enormously. I'm making no money from this)
OMG this is soooooooooooooo hilarious already and I just started reading it!
Dark Lord Voldy's Shattered Soul Club Band by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 84]
Summary: Well... it's high time that I did something so completely insane that the wizards in white robes dragged me off to the closed ward in St. Mungo's.
So, I spoofed the entire album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles, to be performed by your favourite Dark Lord and choice Death Eaters in the style of a rock opera. Eat your lonely hearts out!
I don't recommend this fic to those who are not at all familiar with the Beatles.
It was exellent . I absoluly adore The Beatles. I was listening to the record while i was reading the story. I used my Dads record player.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I adore the Beatles as well! Too bad you didn't leave this review yesterday, or I'd be wearing my Beatles t-shirt!
Killer Instincts by Ginny Weasley Potter
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 228]
Summary: London: Four murders have taken place under bizarre circumstances, for what seems to be an equally bizarre reason.
Harry, a happily wedded man with a wonderful wife and a cute daughter, is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and is now given a new case to solve with Ron and four other Aurors. Incidentally, the four Aurors include Ginny, Harry’s ‘schoolboy crush’; and it turns out to be much more than a crush when Harry sees her again. What’s more is that Harry is working upon a case that seems to connect to him directly. And once again, it opens up old fears: fears of losing loved ones.
Ron, on the other hand, seems to be tired of Hermione. Tempers are running high and fights are breaking out more often than usual. Are they really falling apart? Or can they sort this out before it is too late?
Then there is the case itself. Who is trustworthy, and who is not? Who is deadly enough to murder four people in cold blood?
Indulge into the gut-wrenching action, combined with warm romance and tingling suspense; while I tell you a story of love, ambition and obsession… a story of what those killer instincts can do.
EDIT: MAJOR revamping going on, with regard to plot, characterisation, and general style of writing. I would urge you not to read this until I've removed this notice because I wasn't very good six years ago, and this is as bad as I was. *Places traffic cones*
I still love your story great really. anyway you sould read George's book I Me Mine I got it for Hannukah ( I'm 1/2 Jewish) and it is a really good book not as god as Harry Potter but good. You also might like John's book John Lennon In His Own Write which I also got and that one is plain hilarious.
Author's Response: Hey! It's really nice to hear those things about The Beatles, but could you also tell me more about the story? Don't take me wrong, you can still put in your snippets about The Beatles, but I think Mods could treat your reviews as spam O.O
So, what exactly do you like in my story?
I will check out on both your recommendations as soon as I find time. Thank you!
Do you like The Beatles? If you do you might know this. In 1967 George Harrison begang to become interested in Hinduism. So in 1968 he dragged the other three off to India for a retreat. He was the only one who stayed for the whole retreat. George never ofically converted to Hinduism but he practiced it for the rest of his life. his request before dying was for him to be cremated and for his ashes to be thrown into the Ganges river in India.
Author's Response: Oh yes, I like The Beatles! Gosh, I never knew that...! Thanks for the info (and my 100th review!!!) Three smileys and a huggle for you!
:) :) :) *huggle*
Oh by the way really good story just had to say that stuff about George Harrison. I got so caught up I frogot to tell you what a good story it's turning out to be.
Author's Response: Thank you! *squee!*
You're quite welcome for both reviews
Author's Response: :)
Did you know that George Harrison also knew how to play the sitar(an Indian insturment) and he played it on quite a few of the Beatles songs. To mention a few Norwigen Wood ( ThisBird Has Flown),Inner Light, and Within Without You.
Author's Response: Hmm, I knew that, but thanks, anyway! :)

Challah and Pumpkin Juice by Calico
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 119]
Summary: Tzipporah Stein, a Jew living in Vienna, Austria on the eve of WWII, is shocked when she gets a letter telling her she is a witch. The volatile state of Europe as it waits for both a muggle and a wizarding war to begin has prompted Hogwarts to take in students from many countries. How will Tzipporah handle magic, mischief, and even a little romance while trying to be true to her religion and culture at the same time?
This is an exellent story. I too am Jewish but I am reform. From what my Orthadox Jewish friends tell me this refelts Orthadox Jewish life very well.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re getting the Orthadox feel from my story. It\'s been really hard to do so because I\'m reform too, so I have to look a lot of things up before I write. Still, it\'s worth it if my readers can sense the level of Tzipporah\'s Jewishness, which is what I\'m going for.
Where Are You? by Ginny Weasley Potter
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 32]
Summary:
I like it! I don't usually read OC based stories, but after reading Killer Instincts years ago and loving it I decided I must read this as well. I can't believe you've killed him! Oh my gosh, this is horrible! But great ;) Please update ASAP because you've definitely left it hanging here and I absolutely can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Hey! I'm so glad you decided to give this a try! I have written like four more chapters already but my Beta seems busy. So once she has time to go through the next chapter I'll submit it!
Family Matters by LollyLovesick
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 35]
Summary:
Barty Crouch Jr. and Regulus Black; two boys with different expectations thrust upon them.
This is the story of how their paths cross, merge and then divide, leading towards two different endings; one tragic, one heroic.
"The Death Eaters, I want to join." I stared at him. His blue eyes were steady, his mouth set. He looked resolute. He had thought this over.
And then I got it. I finally got Sirius.
Nominated for Best Dark/Angsty Story in the 2011 Quicksilver Quills and for Best Marauder Era in 2012. Thank you so much!
I love it! It's so... interesting. They're both so innocent still, and it's quite odd to think of Barty that way. I enjoy the way that you're portraying Regulus and Sirius's relationship, it's an intriguing level that I've never quite seen before. I'm very excited for more as it's an amazing story and you're a wonderful writer.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and leaving such a wonderful review! I'm glad you find the story interesting and thank you for all the other compliments!

All That Is Gold Does Not Glitter by ljmckay
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 9]
Summary: An eleven-year-old boy residing at Number 4, Privet Drive, receives his Hogwarts letter in the summer of 1991. That boy is Dudley Dursley.
AGH!!! I love it... It's sooo... umm great! You really should consider going back and continuing it because it's an interesting concept and t could probably go very far. You have an excellent sense of style (hehe puns) and your grammar is impeccable which improves any story. Again this is such a great chapter with so much potential to go further. I hope you see the potential that I do and continue, eventually.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! You made my day. :)
I'm currently working on the sequel/second chapter, with possible plans for more. So stay tuned! No promises on timing, but I am intrigued by the possibilities here and am encouraged by positive reviews to keep working at it.
