Heya! I'm Katherine and I love Harry Potter, as you can see. In my spare time I like to goof around with friends, write screenplays and scripts, make and edit my movies, play with my pet cats and annoy my younger brother.
Here are some of my story banners and story art(all story art is by me):
I can't put up any art right now, server issues *sigh*. I'll try to get it up ASAP!
Please R&R all my stories, and have a good day!
Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.
Very funny. There were quite a few grammar errors though. Have you ever seen the "Things I'm Not Aloud to do at Hogwarts" list? You should check it out, it's funny.
Summary: Post-OOTP. When Voldemort attacks Harry and Dumbledore comes to fight him off, Harry accidentally casts a strange spell that turns Dumbledore and Voldemort into 16 year olds-Harry's age. Now both of them must live with Harry and the Dursleys...Please R&R!
I LOVE LOVE LOVED the story. It's such a strange idea, how did you come up with it? Good job, keep writing!
Summary: Parody of the Harry Potter series written and completed before the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It looks at the lives of some of the major characters as they wait impatiently for book six to arrive. Naturally, chaos ensues. Suitable for all.
Winner of the first annual Quicksilver Quills Award 2006 for best humor fiction. Thank you!
That whole story was the funniest thing I've ever read! I can see why it got a QSQ Award! It was very funny, I rarely enjoy OOC humor unless I'm writing it. Keep on writing, and I can't wait to see more from you!
Author's Response: Thanks for your review, I\'m glad you liked it so much. This has an unfinished sequel - Tom Riddle and the Deadly Mallows, which is posted here. However, as my life is so hectic at the moment it remains unfinished and will probably be scrapped in favour of a completed parody when I get the time. Feel free to visit my site for more details - http://zetera.webs.com/
Summary: It's eight days until Hermione leaves Hogwarts and she is faced with a difficult situation to make that has nothing to do with her graduation. Seeking the Astronomy Tower for its isolated comfort, she finds none of it when he chooses to pay her a visit.
Will she let him go, or will she stay?
Wow! That was brilliant!
Summary: As you might be able to tell, I really love Ron and Hermione. So to show my love, here's my view on their relationship!
~*~*~Can be from either Ron or Hermione's POV.~*~*~
Very, romantic. Good job, it's hard to write a poem that can be from more than one persons POV. Keep writing!
Summary: Hermione feels she's no longer a close friend to Harry Potter. After she discovered that everyone at the Burrow knows about the prophecy except her.
Good job! It was a nice little one-shot. One thing that was annoying is how you always spelt "prophecy" with a s. You might want to check that next time. Other than that, it was great!
... And he Turned Around Snobbily and Strutted Away by Mind_Over_Matter
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 63]
Summary: "Strutting around the place with his friends and admirers..." ~Professor Snape, PoA
There may be some reason behind Snape's words.
Very funny! I never thought of it that way! Good job!
Author's Response: Aha! Well, I aim to bemuse.\r\n^^ Thank you.
Summary: Three-year-old Draco goes trick-or-treating for the first time. His mother takes the opportunity to teach him some lessons and Malfoy family values that she believes will be important to her son later in life. This depiction of Draco is VASTLY different from the version of him that I write in "The Dark Lord's Blog."
Ridiculously short one-shot.
Oh, that's so cute! Little 3 year old Draco! Would the little girl happen to be Hermione? Another one of your great stories!
Author's Response: Nope, the little girl is my little sister, inserted into the story! I\'m so glad you liked it.
Summary: "Some mistakes are too much fun to make just once."
After Lily Evans, Head Girl of Hogwarts, starts a food-fight with James Potter, Head Boy of Hogwarts, they are both given detention for the rest of the year, and are assigned a 'detention journal', which the staff say will help to settle their 'overwhelming and disturbing differences'. We have come across Lily's journal; her take on why the whole affair ever started, her intriguing relationship with one ‘supreme git of the galaxy’, the extents to which she will go for revenge and where it will lead her...
"And if for some unknown reason you come across this, Potter, and the paragraph above does not manage to penetrate your unusually thick head and convince you of my stupendous dislike of you, I hope the following sentence helps: I HATE YOU!"
I loved this chapter. I was reading it so fast with my mouth open so wide, and I was trying so hard to stop myself from laughing! Awesome job!
I can't belive Terry did that! Really good chapter, almost as good as the food fight. I'm very sorry about your RL issues, and I'm happy everythings better.
This story has made me want to read all your other stories too, by the way.
Summary: The line that probably best describes the legacy that the Weasley twins left behind after their Great Escape, during Umbridge’s brief rein at Hogwarts. Their legend lasted years afterwards ... but eventually, the only permanent physical reminder was the roped off corner of one corridor, containing a small part of swamp. The mystery of its origins is merely smiled at reminiscently by teachers, and the students can do nothing but spread rumours of how it came to be. When little Janey Weasley starts life at Hogwarts, the mystery is still unsolved. On a whim, and desperate for recognition, she writes home to her father, asking how it came to be. When Ron replies with the true story, a chain of events begins that might just be the making of the next true Hogwarts mischief legend ...
**One-Shot, Post Hogwarts** Now available as AudioFiction Episode #95!
Great work! What do you imagine that she did? I think she turned everyone's hair blue.
Author's Response: If that\'s what you think, then that\'s what she did. I\'m still trying to work it out! =D
Summary: This is a little fic about Hermione showing her feelings in writing about her best friend. The ups, downs, twist, turns, and obliviousness of falling for her best friend.
P.S. This is based on actual events.
Aww, that's so sweet. It's a very good idea too. Good job!
Summary: Do you have what it takes to be a Death Eater? In these "short" guidelines written by the Dark Lord himself, you'll find out all the do's and don't's and other info of being a Death Eather in Voldemort's service....
Wow! How can you write dark fics, but still manage to write a great humor fic too? I love it and all your other fics!
Author's Response: I really don\'t know how I do it, lol. I guess it just depends on what kind of mood I\'m in when I\'m writing. :-) I\'m so happy to know that you like my fics. :-) Thanks!
Professor R.J. Lupin ... Previously Known As Moony by Pussycat123
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 25]
Summary: Professor RJ Lupin has had a rough life ... except for those precious years he spent as a teenager at school. And now, as he waits to start yet another new life working at the school where he spent so many good times, he looks back on those golden days, and it’s almost as if he’s reliving those times all over again ...
That was so sad! But it was wonderful! It sounded like J.K herself!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you, I\'m glad you enjoyed it!
Summary: Loving someone is never easy. Let alone when you are supposed to look down your nose and scorn him. And when you mix in the public job factor...well, life can become complicated.
I loved how you wrote in second person. Not many people can pull that off!
I liked how you used description in the story, too. There was enough for us to feel like we were actually there, but it wasn't too boring either.
The way the Purebloods talked was a bit strange, but I can imagine that they would actually talk like that. You could also tell that they were in love, just by the way they talked to eachother.
I'd love to see more of the story someday!
Author's Response: :) I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?
Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.
This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.
Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!
That was great! It was very funny, and a very nice short little one-shot. Keep writing Humour, you're great at it!!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I\'m rather proud of this one.
Summary: The Dark Lord pays Professor Snape a late night visit, with the intention of teaching Snape to fly.
Nominated for the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Best Humor Story!
That was one of the most FUNNY fics ever! I'm amazed that it didn't win the QSQ!
One little thing, I think the characterizing of Voldemort was off in the end, once he got the potion.
But, I do think the charecterization of Snape was spot on, and you should try to write him again!
Good job, and keep writing!
This is the first Historical Fic that I've read, and I loved it! I was at first just looking for a story for class on the forums, but I had to stop and read this! Good job, and keep writing!
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! =)
Summary: What happens when Luna challenges her friends to a game of Truth or Dare?
I LOVED IT! I was laughing out loud for some things, and my brother thought something was really wrong with me. I would be SO happy if they pranked Dumbledore! Hogwarts is so crazy!
Bye, and keep updating!
~Katherine *does the Draco-Worm-Dance*
Author's Response: I always love hearing when I made someone laugh! This is why I can\'t wait to read reviews on here. Because of the suggestions I\'ve been getting, I\'m seriously considering putting Dumbledore in the mix! Is there anyone as good-natured as he?
Of Pureblood Dances, Secret Disguises, and Glass Slippers by R_Ravenclaw
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 30]
Summary: In this spoof of Cinderella, Ginny is sent on Auror business to Draco's party in which he has to find a wife. He becomes entranced with the disguised Ginny, who finds she doesn't hate him as much as she thought she would… or at all?
First ever H/G fic I've read, and I love it! Keep writing! (and write fast!):P
Author's Response: Thanks so much! You should really consider reading \"A Tale of Two Matchmakers\"—it\'s the best D/G fic ever!
