Hi, I live in Southern California, I'm 14 yrs. old, and I'm in 10th grade. I'm in color guard at my high school(just got chosen to be co-captain for my sophomore year), but I used to be in gymnastics and wish I still could be. I love reading, I'm a bookworm and always have been, always will be. I love fantasy, and my favorite series is Harry Potter, of course! I love reading fan fics- especially romance, my favorite ships being R/Hr, H/G, and J/L. I also like reading Hr/D and D/G, but I don't think they're very plausible.
I'm currently in the process of writing my own fic, about the child of Ginny and Harry (don't worry, they're married; it's just gross otherwise), but i'm going to wait until I have at least two chapters completed before i start posting them.
Alexandra Quick returns to Charmbridge Academy for eighth grade, angry and in denial. Unwilling to accept the events of the previous year, she is determined to fix what went wrong, no matter what the cost. When her obsession leads her to a fateful choice, it is not only her own life that hangs in the balance, for she will uncover the secret of the Deathly Regiment!
This is the third book in the Alexandra Quick series.
Oh, Anna. Of all the things... she must have known that this will destroy all of Alexandra's trust for her. It's kind of understandable, since she probably thought it might help her father, but I still don't see why she would throw away their friendship for so slim a chance.
Summary: What if the characters in the Harry Potter films were portrayed—not by actors—but by the book versions of themselves, as created by Rowling? How might things unfold on that set? What would the characters think of the changes made from the stories they’d already lived out… to the ones written for the script?
This fic is a series of one-shots, posted as chapters, each from the perspective of a different character who is dealing with the changes occurring between the book and the script.
Holy Movie Canon, Batman! This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Chaptered Humor Story. Thanks so, so much!
Brilliant! This is hilarious-I can't stop smiling while reading it. I think you've done the characterization well. And it's a wonderful way to point out the differences between the books & movies with humor and without sounding overdone or whiny. Great job!
Author's Response: IThanks a lot. Though I must admit I've done my share of whining on the matter as well. More chapters coming eventually. Thanks for taking the time to review. :)
Summary: Rose Weasley didn't mean to be different. She didn't intend to stand out in her family. She didn't expect to be Sorted... into Slytherin.
I like this story so far. The characters are intriguing- I hope we get to see more characterization in future chapters. Incidentally, is Tony gay? Only, I don't think most straight guys would use the word "adorable," especially not when referring to another guy.
I like the names you've picked out for the characters, "Aurelia" and "Liatris" especially.
Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: I do believe that you are the only reviewer ever to catch this, but yes, that has been my plan for Tony from the beginning. :)
