Hey everyone! :)
I'm not sure if you remember me or not (more than likely you have stumbled upon one of my fics and ended up here), but I have been a member of MNFF for about three years now, and slightly unactive this past year. eeek!
Today, however, I had an epiphany and realized how much I missed writing and decided to pop on over here and check out the old site. hee hee (old habits are hard to break).
Anyways, I feel terrible that I haven't been able to finish my stories, especially TFY. I'm going to try and a couple of chapters this summer so keep checking for updates. Hopefully I'll see you all around the boards once and a while! :D
Keep writing!
Sarah
As Happily Ever After As They're Gonna Get by cjbaggins
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 646]
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.
Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.
Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.
what a great chapter! I wonder what Harry's going to buy in the bookshop? I can't wait for the next chapter- hope it's up soon. Keep up the great writing!
Author's Response: Thanks! You\'re so sweet. Hmmm...I wonder too. Hey! I know! Maybe it\'s a book? cj

But Esau Have I Hated... by OliveOil_Med
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 20]
Summary: All here life, Petunia listened to people say how special her little sister, Lily, was. And getting that letter and running off to that school only made things worse. So through the years, she sat on the sidelines and watched Lily become more and more amazing.
But what about her? A story through Petunia Evans' eyes on the subjects of Lily, Hogwarts, and a war most people don't even know is happening.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. It is very well written, and is very entertaining. I hope you will update soon, and am quite excited to read the rest of this.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like it. I'm hoping to have chapter 7 done very soon.
I'm so glad that you updated. This was an excellent chapter, and I love how Petunia put aside her jealousy during the funeral (for the most part anyways).
I think that Lily seems a bit too happy(if you get what I mean. She is never seen crying or anything), but besides that I really have enjoyed this chapter.
Update soon!
--ginnygirl16
Author's Response: Yeah, people are reading! I'm sorry you thought Lily was happy. I was trying to make her appear numb, you know, from shock. The flowers from Snape were just a nice gesture that made her feel better for a little while. Well, at least until anger took over.

Winner of the 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Romance Between Other Characters.
As a writer, I love to get reviews. Sure, having a high read count is nice, but when I see a review I feel great that someone took the time to tell me what they think. Whether it is praise or not, it makes me feel good. Which is why, I am taking the time to tell you how much I loved your story. I can't believe that you only have fourteen reviews! Congratulations on the award--very deserving. I loved how you referred to Potters and Weasleys throughout the fic without talking about how famous their parents were or anything. Making Scorpius an auror--kind of ironic isn't it, that his father and grandfather were death eaters?
Anyways, mainly I wanted to commend you on doing such a fine job. Oh, and by the way, wonderful job with an OC.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!
Its funny, Scorpius was certainly not going to be an Auror when I started the story, in fact, he wasn't even going to be all that nice. He kind of asserted himself as I went along, though. Being an Auror turned out to be his idea, not mine!
