"Love is unexplainable. There are no words for it. You can’t express why you feel so. It just happens," James said. "“Don’t you think that if I had the choice I would have chosen to love someone who didn’t hate me in return?”
“No,” Sirius said simply.
“You’re right.” James said, sighing. “I’m so screwed up, Padfoot.”
The drama-filled romantic tale of Lily and James's mysterious but unfortunate tale. It started with love and ended with death. It makes you wonder about the things they tried to live for. Pre-HBP
Good, but why isn't James sadder about his parents deaths? He seems just fine.
What. The Hell. Happened. TO THE PLOTLINE!?!
1. Not sure. Too many.
4. All of them.
5. All of it!
6. Doesn't matter, it's already written.
8. You dropped the plotline where james is kidnapped by Lucious completely in the middle of it!
All's fair in love and war
Lily thinks herself too clever to fall for James Potters charm. Yet, as the two of them are appointed Head Boy and Girl, will Lily regret her negative feelings towards James? Pre-HBP
"I'm feeling spontaneous right now."
Summary: This story is about Harry's struggle...his struggle to obey his mind when his heart is screaming out in protest .
It's about Ginny's secrets, her aching heart, and where her loyalty lies.
Mainly, this story is about friends, those you can trust and those who can't trust you.
Reviews are fun and easy! So don't shy away from stating your opinion...trust me, it feeds the fire so I'm not left out in the cold! ;)
I don't know if you knew this, but
Grand-pere (pronounced "Gron-pear") is french for grandfather.
Summary: James Potter: Marauder. Lily Evans: Prefect. They're both seventh years at Hogwarts. They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.
Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!
Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)
Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
And yes, this story is up on Fanficition.net under the penname: Io.Sono.Emilia.
Of course, as a disclaimer, I’m not JK Rowling. The Potterverse does not belong to me, but I am in it and love it.
I'm a guy, and I love Lily/James fanfics. Finding a 50-chapter one made me think "Wow, I've hit the motherlode!" And incidently, you've mentioned the phrase "OoC" before, and I believe it means "Out of Character," not "Out of Canon," but I may be wrong. Great fic!
Author's Response: Hahaha! Glad that you do! I think I\'ve realized that too- But, both ways, they kinda mean the same thing... Eh. :-D
Summary: Tonks and Remus love each other, but Remus has been afraid of hurting Tonks, so for a long time he denied his feelings for her. Now that they've put their issues aside, they're married and happy, but for how long? Voldemort is rising in power by the day, threatening to destroy good magic. Will Tonks and Remus be able to survive the battle?
Great story! I thought it could have been longer, if you'd wanted to go into more detail. If you were worrying about length, it was fine. It was great the way it was, but I would like to here about what happened after the baby. If you want to expand, please write a sequel! I'd like to read one, at any rate.
Summary: Glimpses into Remus Lupin's life at Hogwarts, all trying to answer the question: Is Remus a normal wizard who just has a “furry little problem”, or is he a werewolf among wizards, trying to fit in where he may never truly belong?
Now with more Snape down the Whomping Willow! Check out Chapter 10: A Highly Amusing Joke and Chapter 11: Skyfall
Wow. This was a great chapter. BUt you know, I think you're really going to have a hard time beating "Omelettey goodness."
Author's Response: Just watch me. Thanks for reviewing, Matt.
Brilliant idea for a chapter! I never would have thought of the whole silver-werewolf thing. I hope the next one's up soon. (Don't worry, I won't bug you about till it's been at least 3 weeks.)
Author's Response: You know, you\'re only going to be able to bug me virtually when I\'m off at college next year.
"Stupid Ideas." *chuckles*
Author's Response: Because smart ideas aren\'t half as entertaining...
Best. Chapter. Ever.
Author's Response: Wow, high praise when I remember how attached you were to chapter two. I\'m glad I didn\'t disappoint! Thank. You. Matt.
YES! YES! YES!
(I will now commence reading the story, assuming I can stop my throes of joy of this bieng put up.)
Author's Response: Always glad to make you happy, Matt.
Excellent chapter, as always! Out of curiosity, what story did Kytalin's name come from?
Author's Response: Much thanks and happy 14th birthday Honorary Lil Bro!!!!!!!!!! I hope your 15th year of life goes better than Harry's. If I recall correctly - which I always do - there was a dragon, some merpeople, and way more Death Eaters than anyone ever needs in their life. So just keep that in perspective as you battle out the rest of the year. :) Regarding Kytalin's name: it came from the same place Delangela's came from, which is to say I made it up. I miss you and I hope you had a great birthday. We should hang out when I'm home for TG and have long conversations lamenting the fact that we can't have long conversations about the HBP movie and I'll probably resort ranting about how much I hate the PoA movie (we must keep with tradition), and I probably should have just written this all on facebook but oh well too late. Love and hugs from your crazy Harry-Potter-obsessed runner-up favorite older sister Anna
Brilliant idea, having a snowball fight like that one. Excellent chapter. I'm hoping the next one is up soon.
P.S. It was nothing. I'll bug you for more chapters anytime you want! ;)
Author's Response: I was just asking for that one, wasn\'t I. I\'ll put chapter four in the queue tonight.
