Hello there. =]
You've [probably stumbled] come across the author page of Caitlin. I'm a fourteen-year-old Australian Ravenclaw who spends a lot of her time reading, writing, listening to music, playing guitar and piano, being on her computer and swooning over Edward Cullen [and Rob Pattinson, on occasion :D][ETA March 2009: How about we reverse that last sentence, yeah? Swooning over Rob, occasionally Edward. >.>].
My first big love is Harry Potter, of course, shortly followed by Twilight, and music, too.
Friends and family come first in my life, and I don't know what I'd do without them.
Within the fandom, I adore Romance, and ship canon... and Dramione [yeah, yeah, weird, I know...]. I also love Poetry, and have developed a love for Next-Gen. :)
I love to watch Top Gear, Spicks and Specks, The Hollowmen, Rove, Packed to the Rafters, Good News Week and Grey's Anatomy. And yes, I know most people would have only heard of one, maybe two of those shows. XD
I love music, and listen to a lot rock and alternative, but nothing too heavy. [Metal = blergh]. However, my taste goes from the electro-pop stuff they play on the radio, to the stuff of genius created by Muse and Paramore. :D Said bands are my two favourite in the world.
I have LJ, AIM, and MSN, so if you like the same things as me or just want to make a new friend, add me, or drop me a PM on the forums, because my inbox is always open. :)
Summary: For Lord Voldemort, life is going swell, and everything is juuust peachy... until a ghostly visitor arrives. EXTRAORDINARILY silly.
EDIT: For some bizarre reason that I can't fully comprehend, this story WON the "Things that Go Bump In The Night" challenge in the Winter's Tale Challenge.
Oh, Schmergo! Wow wow wow wow wow! Sooo funny... You made me laugh. A lot. Of course! *hops back to Schmergo's author page to read more of her splendiferous fics* :D
Author's Response: AWww, thank you, Caitlin! You always make me smile.
Summary: Draco and Hermione meet again after ten years. But between friendship and possibly something more, they must both learn to trust in each other and in themselves or it will all fall apart again.
Wow. I've read what you have of the sequel already, and this first part was great! Yay! Draco and Hermione are really in character, and the ship is really believable! I loved it!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your kind words! I really try to keep people in character, especially interesting ones like Draco and Hermione so it is nice to know that I have suceeded.
Summary: Hermione stood, watching the sea dance up and down the beach. As she watched, tears trickled and dropped, one by one, down to the ground.
The Mental Disorders are only slightly suggested at the end.
Well done, Ema! It was a very well-written story and intrigued me right to the end. Can't wait to see more of your work soon!
Author's Response: Thanks. :) As you probably know by now (I PMed you about it) I won\'t be doing a lot more writting for here in the near future. But maybe I\'ll come back to it. Thanks for your support. \r\n\r\n-Ema
Summary: A collection of short poems written by the characters of the Potterverse.
They're amazing Roxy! I especially love James' Poem -- it's beautifully written! I loved them!
Summary: One month after 'The Battle of Hogwarts,' Harry Potter finds a mysterious owl on his windowsill with a single scroll attached to its leg.
A poem of reflection and repentance.
Roxy! Such an amzing poet -- I loved it! It has great rhythm, like Sammy said. More more more!
Summary: Above all else, the form love takes depends on the circumstances. Albus/Scorpius, implied Harry/Draco, DH epilogue compliant. This is a follow-up to "After the Epilogue".
Woah. I. Loved. It. I hope you're planing a sequel!!
Summary: Hermione is stressed from the DA, and George listens to her as she vents about all of it. At least until a slightly angsty Ron confronts the two about their so called "relationship".
Wow, Hannah! I don't normally read any other Hermione pairings except RW/HG and DM/HG, but this was fantastic! Your characterisation of all was great. =] I loved it! Keep the great writing up. =]
Author's Response: Thanks, Caitlin. I\'m working on developing a chaptered George/Hermione, maybe based off my gauntlet. *hugs*
Summary: Nominated for the 2009 QSQ award for Best Male OC.
Harry's life is quiet now. He has a loving wife, a beautiful son, a career along side his best friend, and everything else he could ever want and never imagine having. But now, his career as an Auror will lead both him and Ron halfway around the world to investigate a mysterious school known only as the Skat-Hatokha Academy of Magic.
But from the beginning, something seems off. No one in the wizarding world has heard of this school, the board of directors can contact you, but you can't contact them, and the accepted students have all been in some trouble with the law and take their right to remain silent very seriously. Not to mention Lucius Malfoy's near obsessive interest in this case and his close involvement with the Ministry.
But as more time passes, the more the case begins to take on a life of its own, and not just for Harry.
Ooh, I love it! Can't wait for more...
Sounds like an interesting story, interesting plotline, interesting everything!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you love it so much. I just wish I could get it updated faster so everyone could have a better idea of the plot!
Summary: Written around the lyrics to Angela by Missy Higgins, this one-shot explores a few "what if" questions: what if the places were reversed and it was Lily whose feelings for James were unrequited, what if Sirius had a sister and what if she happened to be Hogwart's very own Mean Girl? Well, if you feel like some light reading, try this story!
I don't know what to say! No words can describe it! Wow wow wow wow wow wow!!!!!!
Alternate Universe can be tricky, but it was really creative and a really cute story. Well done!
Author's Response: Tehe, thankyou! It\'s my first ever AU fic and I did try hard not to cross the line between creativity and being over the top. Thanks for the encouraging review, you\'ve made my day!
Summary: All the joy that Hermione possessed had been extinguished by the loss of one person: the one person she could never have thought of losing.
This is Phily of Hufflepuff for the Colours of the Spectrum Challenge - part 1
First review? Phily, this deserves heaps of them! Wow, wow ,wow! I loved it from the first time I read it! :D Sad, but beautiful...

Summary: “But I don’t understand. Ginny told me that you and Hermione broke up by mutual agreement,” Luna said, confused.
“We did. And it’s not that I want to be with her again - it’s just...hard to explain.”
“Unless you’re with someone who is actually listening.”
When one love is lost, another is found.
Wow, Sarah! That was amazing! I've never read any Ron/Luna, but that was fantastic! Beautifully written, extremely romantic. Well done!
Summary: The war has been over for five years, but the world is still treating Harry like he defeated Voldemort yesterday. Why doesn't anyone realize that he is a hero for other reasons?
Hannah! I loved this fic of yours! Thanks for letting me know about it. =] I, like Chante', know who the OC is, but I can see why you would think it is Ginny too. Then again, that why it's in Harry/OC, right? =P
Your characterisation was great, and it was a very nice fic -- I hope you write more on this pairing ;-)
Summary: (1946)Tom Riddle is nineteen years old, and has already created four Horcruxes: the Cup, the Diadem, the Ring, and the Locket. Anupama Patil is the perfect woman for him. Nineteen herself, only she has the power to make this handsome young man angry. Only she can resist his charms...but will he be able to resist hers?
Violence is ripping across the country as the natives try to drive the British out. In the middle of this havoc, can two teenagers fulfill their wishes?
Arya! :D :D :D You never told me it'd been validated, you archived author, you! =]
Absolutely stunning Prologue -- I'm definitely hooked! Your characterisation of a young Tom is fantastic -- you obviously have thought about his character and you've got it spot on!
I love the legend of the Kalinag too -- it's a great touch and adds even MORE interest into the story!
Brilliant start -- can't wait for the first chapter!
P.S. You're Indian? I never knew! Awesome! =]
Author's Response: *blushes* Thanks!! I thought I\'d told you...thanks for the wonderful compliments...:D I was worried mostly about characterization, but well, now I\'m reassured *squishee*....I\'ve already submitted it to the queue...:D \r\n\r\nI thought you knew I\'m Indian!! LOL, Well, I am!!:D:D *huggles*
Arya! =D An absolutely fantastic first chapter! If I wasn't totally hooked before (which I was) I most definitely am now! I know that might not make a lot of sense, but what I'm trying to say is... I love love LOVE your writing, and your fic so far! Can't wait 'till the next chapter is up!
Author's Response: Hello, Madam Faithful Reviewer!!! I\'m flattered!!! The second chapter is in beta-ing, so it\'ll take a while-two or three days, maybe, which would mean a total of ten days ;)...you\'ll just have to bear with us [me, Tom, and Anupama] in the meantime!! :D :D :D *huggles*
Summary: Cedric and Colin have a talk about the Triwizard Tournament and how it was from Cedric’s point of view. Lots of secrets and unknown things will unfold…
*is shocked* Arya! I didn't know you had another fic up! *loves* It's so good! I love this plot -- so very original. I agree: Ced needs a bit more love! *hugs* I LOVED this, and can't wait fro your next update... on both of your wonderful fics! =D
Author's Response: Lol...that\'s me, modest old Arya! ;) Thanks!! I know that the other fic is taking some time, but I think something is up with my beta...she\'s not sent it back... :(....I\'ll update this one ASAP! I\'m writing the second chapter, and I hope it will be up soon! =D *huggles*
Summary: Night time has once again taken its toll on a child who needs to hear a story before bed.
“I don’t want any of those books, Daddy. I want a real story. Please.”
“All right, what real story would you like?"
“I dunno, something with a prince and a princess in it.”
“Would a Half-Blood Prince suffice?”
I am MissyQuill of Gryffindor enterring the May One Shot Challange .
Sammy!!!! =D Oh. Mygosh! All hail the co-queen of Sev/Lily! :P Sammy, that was a-maaazing! I haven't read much SS/LE besides your drabbles, and this was so cute, so sweet... I'm pretty much converted! =D Little Lily was so sweet (quick question -- why a Lily junior? To make us think it's Harry and Ginny's Lily?)! Sev was of course IC -- I wouldn't expect any less from you!
All in all, a stunning one-shot and fantastic take on the contest prompt!
P.S. Did you notice I'm your fourteenth review again? =D
Author's Response: Caitlin, saving authors from the unlucky 13.:D Thanks for the review love, you are as sweet as ever. *squishes* Actually no, I didn\'t mean to confuzzle anyone. I always imagined Sev and Lily would have a daughter called Lily. And YAY, you\'re one of us now.:)=Sammy

Nice new fic you've got there, Hannah! :D It's very interesting; not an AU theory I've ever really considered. I loved it! :)
Author's Response: Now everyone can see my joy of writing AU. It seems everything I write turns out that way too. :]

But one was affected more deeply than the rest.
Alone now, Rowena Ravenclaw grieve.
Who, Salazar, who, can mend Rowena's shattered heart?
A short poem full of creative imagery.
:O Phia, my dear! I bow down to your poetry prowess! I love this. A lot. It's very sad, and dark, and the language you've used simply blows me away. It's a wonderful poem! I really need to check your author page more often. o.o

This was originally written for the Summer 2008 MWPP class final. This is harry4lif from the forums.
Alyssa, darlin', that was a wonderful fic. :) I love your characterisation of Sirius and Peter, and the way you've interpreted the story from Sirius' POV.
Overall, well done! :D
Author's Response: Thanks, Caitlin! Glad you liked it!
