Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: 2007 QSQ Awards Runner-up for Best Post-Hogwarts

Petunia Dursley is enjoying dinner with her family when someone starts pounding on the door. Ready to tell them off for being so rude and refusing to leave when they didn't answer at first, Petunia opens the door to have a baby shoved into her arms and told she is his only family. Years after the great Harry Potter defeated Voldemort, Death Eaters have risen to power and taken over Hogsmeade, Hogwarts, and even the Ministry of Magic. Their marriages announced invalid, their children in danger and their lives hanging by a thread, the heroes of the war with Voldemort must once again take a stand against evil.

*Quote from The Epilogue*

Suddenly Harry was kissing her as if he couldn’t resist the temptation. There was a kind of frenzy to the kiss at first, a kind of desperate need, but it melted into something soft and sweet and gentle, a promise of a future when kisses would never be limited. When they broke apart he rested his forehead on hers, sprinkling a few affectionate butterfly kisses across her face. “I love you,” he murmured.

Oh God, where's Harry? I was kind of hoping he'd run into James and Sirius, (which would probably be pretty amusing if the situation wasn't so grave haha), but I can't wait to see what you have in store. Update as soon as you can, please!

Author's Response: It would have been pretty amusing if he'd run into James and Sirius, and of course, you never know what the future (or the past, as the case may be) holds . . . ;) Thanks very much for the review; I'll try and update as soon as I can!

As Happily Ever After As They're Gonna Get by cjbaggins

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.

Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.

Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.

Nooo not the Habs D:. Haha just kidding. They'll have a good team this year, as much as it pains me to say it :P

I do like the Penguins though. And a bit of a nitpick, but the books take place in the 90s, so Crosby wouldn't be in the NHL yet. Not a big deal really but eh.

Also, I loved the way you incorporated Dean's backstory. I'm really enjoying this.

Author's Response: Arrgghhhhh!! Timeline error! Timeline error. *klaxon sounds* Crap. And I do so like my details to all be correct. {sigh} Oh well. I take comfort in the fact that Ms Rowling herself made Hedwig nocturnal when Snowy Owls are actually diurnal! *phew* I make mistakes with the best of 'em! Glad you like Dean's story inclusion and are enjoying the story! Keep reading. cj

The Defenestration of James Potter by hlf_insn_insmnc

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Dumbledore has a very good idea. True, it may be termed as 'illegal,' but when it concerns the happiness and futures of two sixth-years, James Potter and Lily Evans, 'illegal' isn't really important, is it? His portraits agree.

And while it could be said that two inexperienced students should never be responsible for a mass construction project and the hosting of an international festival... well, the teachers of Hogwarts have never really paid attention to propreity, have they?

The Line Between What is Right and What is Easy by eternalangel

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The year is 1945 and Albus Dumbledore has been asked by the Aurors to identify the body of a student of his who has died under suspicious circumstances, but this student was no ordinary student. Tom Riddle was extraordinary. As Albus begins to search for Riddle’s murderer, he begins to understand the true depth of Riddle’s involvement in the Dark Arts and why it was he was murdered. The murderer may be closer to Albus than even he suspects. Thanks to Butterbeer Drinker for being a wonderful guide and encouraging me to finish this gauntlet when I was about to quit!

I am eternalangel of Ravenclaw and this is my submission to the seventh round of the gauntlet.

This is fantastic. Very powerful and suspenseful, but also kind of sad. I really feel for Dumbledore.
