I am an avid reader, and possibly the biggest Potter fan. I have been reading Harry Potter since I was a small child and since then have read each and every single book, and not only one but I beleive I have read each one over about 50 times each. :) It is a huge part of my life, without it I would be incomplete. I enjoy reveiwing stories, and have come across a few astounding ones. I am also considering writing a story, being as I am a writer myself. Also, for all you potterfans I host a Potter podcast, check it out at : blogtlakradio.com/PW
in this chapter you say James apparates downstairs to find lily...you can't do that in hogwarts...
... I am crying .. :) I have read this entire fix today, couldnt un-glue my eyes from the screen! I can't beleive its over, I dont want it to be! But alas all good things must come to an end. Ugh, I really really wanted joc' and sirius to end up together, but deep down I knew you wouldnt do it. I laughed cried screamed so many times today from reading this story, this is truly an amazing peice of work, and Id like to thank you for writing something as beautiful as this! BRAVO!
It was full moon when the Dark Lord sealed a part of his soul within a magical amulet, and then broke it in half. One half was left to the faithful werewolves to guard. The other half was tossed into the impenetrable depths of time where no one but him could get it. When the first half has been found, the Order of the Phoenix selects Hermione Granger to go back into the past to search for the missing piece. What is waiting for her is a brutal task that will test her beyond her limits, and an undying love that extends beyond the boundaries of time.
No werewolves were harmed in the making of this story.
Update (9 May): Chapter 17, Burning, is up! Enjoy!
ive officially fallen in love. update ! , please ?
Poor Jocelyn... :( I'm in a rather sour mood now. Really, must you be such a damned good writer ?!
Ok so this might sound horrid , but I'm actually smiling at the thought of Hector dead... I hated him since the beggining! As for Joce' , Im happy and sad, she doesnt have to deal with that dunder head anymore yet she can't pursue Sirius any longer.... I truly think I might cry. Bravo once again trinity !
Amazing series, I love them! But whatever happend to Severus and Eris...?
Thank you! Since you asked.... ^_~
I have a story, Beauty for Ashes, that's a different pairing in a different dimension of the Potterverse, but I'd like to think this is what happens for Severus in this series, too.
The body was far easier to control than the mind. It took no great effort for Severus to make his stare fixed and empty, to halt his breath and allow his hand to thud to the floor. He lay still and unmoving while Voldemort's voice echoed in the shack. Inwardly, he cursed the Dark Lord's expedient generosity in allowing enemies one hour's respite from battle to dispose of their dead. What if Granger, out of girlish pity, insisted they bring his body to the castle? He was in no condition to perform extensive Memory Charms.
Voldemort's subsequent threat against those who had tried to conceal Potter turned the trio's attention from the dead to the living. They rushed toward the tunnel entrance, leaving his "corpse" behind.
It was almost too late when Severus retrieved the vial of Phoenix Tears concealed in his robes. He could feel his life force ebbing away. For an instant, he was tempted to die. What did his life matter to any on this side of the veil? Beyond, he would find Lily, and forgiveness.
In answer, he heard another woman’s voice. Whenever I start to worry about you, I remember that stubborn determination of yours, and take comfort that you're too proud to die easily.
In "Ashes" Severus leaves England to start a new life as a village apothecary in Eastern Europe.
During one of his drunken ramblings about his summer travels, Igor had mentioned Braslavskiye Ozera national park in Belarus. Scenic and remote, the place had bored Igor, but he remembered the pretty guide raving that among the lakes and hills were over eight hundred varieties of rare plants. He suggested Severus flee there when the Dark Lord returned. "Think of the potions you could brew!" he had said laughingly.
How shocked Igor would have been to know his careless words had borne such fruit.
Unlike the alternate story, in this dimension the apothecary would would have a wife, and one day, a son.
Truly frustrating to know that Dumbledore neednt of died that night , that Harry Ron and Hermione didnt have to go through all that trouble at the ministry. That Sirius could have held the very key to destroying Voldemort, altering the future. He could have saved Lily and James and so many others, he could finally be with Joce' . Ah how things would have been so different , but alas Sirius must be the git that he is and Regulus, that coward that he always had been. Amazing job !
It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn't a hag, and Scorpius didn't expect to call in the favour.

So you said you'd love it if I read this, and so I have :) I was so thrilled to see the tie in of Crouching Father Hidden Dragon, I always love those one-shots for some reason. Your writing style is fantastic, and I have been a fan of yours since my beggining her at MNFF. Sirius/Cami = love. The one thing that I truly adore is that you just don't write the story, it seems as if with each chapter you write you personalize with peices of yourself. You go out of your way to research the little things and add them in there. One of my favorites was the Les Miserables pun on Hugo, very funny!
I enjoy this story very much and am looking forward to your next update!!
your loyal fan- V
I do love it! Thank you so much! One shots give the chance to see an aspect of the story from a pov you'll never see in the main story, like the Sirius ones you mentioned. I have another one that should post soon in Draco's pov. He's not the Draco of Matchmakers, but I still heart him. ^_^
Yay for you liking the little details! They make a story even more fun to write.
It's official. Malfoy has murdered sleep.
*A Ron pov outtake to Our Little Secret.*
Excellent one-shot! I recognized the quote from Macbeth instantly when I read the info on this :) We actually just finished reading it in my Lit class, so it was pretty cool too be able to recognize it. it's a great play, one of Shakespeares greatest.
I really liked the part where Ron admits what's bothering him, and Hermione (ever the sensible one) tells him that they will have to put the prices of her heart back together. Excellent all around...perhaps you should consider writing a Rose/Scorpius fic? I know it'd be brilliant ;)
Did you have to memorize a soliloquy? I chose the Dagger one and still can quote it, :D.
I have a Rose/Scorpius story called Our Little Secret (also in the Post Hogwarts category) that I'd love you to read!
