Summary: Before finding out he was a wizard, Christmas was just another day for the Dursleys to treat Harry like something that had been dumped on their doorstep. That was just lovely! I read and thoroughly adored The Letter (which I always tried to review on ginnypotter before I found it here) and was so glad to see this posted as a bit of holiday cheer. I do look forward to a possible Teddy Lupin story in the new year!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you found me here, because I don\'t think I\'ll be posting on ginnypotter again. I had way too many problems updating chapters and I couldn\'t respond to reviews on that site, which I found really frustrating. I\'m so glad you enjoyed The Letter and my Christmas story. I\'m making progress on my Teddy story, but it\'s coming slowly, not just because of the holiday rush, but because I\'m dealing with a relatively new character that Jo hasn\'t already fleshed out for me, so it\'s a bit more challenging. At any rate, thanks for your review and your kind words. Have a very happy holiday season.
Summary: A weekend trip to the mysterious Rose Cottage leads to Ginny's second pregnancy and Hermione's first. The Potters and Weasleys take on “The Next Great Adventure” as they anticipate the births of Albus Potter and Rose Weasley.
You're back! How repetitive would I sound to commend you on the eggs and omelet line when most of the other reviews before me have done the same? Alas, I must continue in the same way, however, because it’s bloody brilliant (as Ron would say!). You have such a talent for creating dialogue and stories that personify the characters we all know and love. How natural it seems that our perfection loving Hermione would take her inability to get pregnant as a personal failure. Or how easy it is to see Mrs. Weasley, her eyes sparkling slightly, bouncing her grandson on her knee as she told her daughter to take care of her wistful husband…you can just imagine the shocked look on Ginny’s face and her ears tingeing red with embarrassment – a signature Weasley trait! Okay…I’ll stop my ramblings for now and await the next chapter…best of luck with your writing!
Author's Response: I originally posted this story on Jan. 3, but it\'s taken this long to get it approved. It was rejected twice, once by a moderator who claimed my characters were too \"out of character\" for this site. I resubmitted it - without changes - and finally found someone to approve it, and according to you (and several other reviewers) my characters are spot on. I\'ve already written quite a way ahead, so if you\'re impatient you can hop on over to fanfiction.net and read the 11 chapters I\'ve already posted there. Otherwise, let\'s hope whatever issues this site has had have finally been resolved. Thanks for your review. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story.
