"The thing about growing up with Fred and George, is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve."

Hello! I'm Padfoot, or PnP if you're in a rush. I like Harry Potter. I write fanfiction. I read fanfiction. You read fanfiction. Read my fanfiction.

The website above is my friend Orii's. I've got a few poems up on there-- feel free to check them out :D

Random info for stalkerish stalkers:

Hogwarts House- Gryffindor

Fav. HP Book- Sorcerer's Stone

Fav. HP Characters- Sirius, the Marauders (which includes Sirius, of course, but he's my favorite so he gets special recognition), the Weasleys, Luna, Neville, Tonks, Hagrid, the Trio, and Lily. Funny how a bunch of my favorites end up dead, isn't it?

Fav. Ships- Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, James/Lily, Remus/Tonks, Neville/Luna

Fav. HP Movie- Sorcerer's Stone (gotta love consistency), Goblet of Fire

Fav. Fan Fic Authors- Schmerg_The_Impaler, Pussycat123, MagEd

Fav. Authors- J.K. Rowling, Harper Lee, Cornelia Funke, David Lubar, Ellen Raskin, Sarah Dessen, and many more

Stories:

A Weasley Christmas- first fic ever. Based off 'Twas the night before Christmas', only with a bunch of the lines changed so it pertains to Harry Potter.

A Letter For Fred- another poem. Rather sweet, from George to the recently-deceased Fred. I'm quite happy with how this one turned out.

The Trouble With Being Trusted- My very first Gauntlet, where a I wrote as Tonks. Includes younger versions of older characters, and the protaganist escaping death many times.

Who Killed the King?- My murder mystery WIP. I'm finally working on some more chapters, so hopefully they'll be up soon!

The Marauding Roses of Gryffindor- joint fic between me in a couple Gryffs. It was set up and put together by Michelle. And although I didn't win the date with Sirius, I got Remus instead, which is pretty awesome.

When Love Prevails- my second Gauntlet, co-written by the fabulous Brittany. Probably the weirdest James/Lily story you'll ever find. I wrote the wacky Lily ^_^

I hope to have more up soon, but feel free to drop a review for any of those!

My favorite HP quote of all time is as follows:

"--but you get these massive pus-filled boils too," said George, "and we haven't worked out how to get rid of them yet."
"I can't see any boils," said Ron, staring at the twins.
"No, well, you wouldn't," said Fred, "they're not in a place we generally display to the public --"
"-- but they make sitting on a broom a right pain in the --"

Yes, I have barely any emotional depth. Why do you ask?

Other favorite Quotes:

"You know, Minister, I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts...but you cannot deny he's got style..." (I liked it better when Kingsley said it in the movie. That was hilarious!)

"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!"

"I'll join you when hell freezes over."

"Hello, Minister!" bellowed Percy, sending a neat jinx straight at Thicknesse, who dropped his wand and clawed at the front of his robes, apparently in awful discomfort. "Did I mention I'm resigning?"

“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love. By returning, you may ensure that fewer souls are maimed, fewer families are torn apart. If that seems to you a worthy goal, then we say good-bye for the present.”

"If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

"Keep muttering and I will be a murderer!"

Oh, and don't forget Elvendork! It's unisex!

"And, quite honestly, I've had enough trouble for a lifetime"

Changing the Past by PEMDAS
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 429]

Summary: Harry would give anything to have his parents back...what if he got the chance to? Harry, Ron and Hermione get mysteriously sent back in time to when the Marauders were in school, and Harry attempts to alter history. Can he get his parents back? Or will he only end up messing up the future forever? (Note: Rating and Warnings will change in later chapters, while the first few chapters are very mild.)

Oh No, Nott Again! by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 39]

Summary: Our boy Theodore Nott thinks he’s signed up for a position in the Department of Mysteries. Little does he know that he’s been roped into something a bit more… deathly.

Rollicking fun, dry commentary, suspense, and heavy doses of surrealism with the Grim Reaper and company, including a surprise guest at the end. Written for the Gauntlet challenge by Schmerg_The_Impaler of the grand house of Hufflepuff.

Technically a companion piece to “To Be Or Nott To Be,” but who’s counting? It also stands on its own just as well.

Looks like the judges got drunk again, because they were insane enough to give this story Second Place in the gauntlet. Somewhere, all the famous dead writers are rolling over in their graves, but I, for one, am feeling very squeeful at this undeserved reward! Thanks, judges!

i like this one too! oh wait, i like all your stories! lol and YOU BROUGHT SIRIUS BACK!!!! YES!!!! MY FAV PART!!! (and if you dont know why, check my profile. he he)
i used to not really like theo but you made him such a cool character now i do! kudos to you!
~Padfoot

Author's Response: AWWW, THANKIES! I squeed when you said you liked all of my stories. I really had to bring Sirius back... his death seemed so ridiculous! (You see I did that in Dark Lord\'s Blog, too...)
I never thought much of Theodore Nott, but I had a weird dream about him going to my school after I saw a description of him on JK Rowling\'s website, and then I just had to write about him!
A third one will come in which he meets the other heads of the rooms in the Department of Mysteries (eg. Time, Love, etc.)

Summary: WARNING! This story contains a jingle-bell antler headband, a shower of potatoes, boy/girl mushiness, underwear karaoke, family trouble, an excessively adorable werewolf, death, the song "Werewolves of London," betrayal, and the word 'Jordan' five times in a row near the beginning of chapter seven.

Twenty-one years after Voldemort's defeat, five fourth-years are faced with a new threat. Will all of the five stay true to the light side? Will they all emerge whole in the end? Will Jordan Potter ever get a life? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll sigh! Part one in a trilogy!

Well, after much deliberation and consideration, I've decided to submit my future-gen trilogy! This particular installment is three years old, so it's definitely different from my current writing style, but I'm quite fond of the characters.

DH is disregarded. It's a total coincidence that one of the main characters is named Ted Lupin.

Starring Quicksilver Quills 2008 Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, and Emma Weasley, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin!

Five times nominated (once for each member of Potter's Pentagon!) for the Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards, and nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards...

well, i had this nice lovely review typed out, and then i got thrown off, so i'll havta write it again! *sigh* so, here it goes:
i love this fic. with a capital L-O-V-E! tis my fav on MNFF. my fav OC is Ivy (on harrypotterfangirl21's quiz i got her) and my leasst fav is probly Ivy's brother cuz he's bad or Tyrone cuz he was kinda annoying in this book... and the fact that he reminds me of somebuddy i know and that person annoys me lol
and on a side note, you've been saying that the mods that love you to pieces have been regecting the second book for plot??? thats crazy!!! it has to come up or else i wont know what happens! lol... good luck with submitting the truth (is that what its called?), and I LOVE THIS STORY!!!!)
~Padfoot

Author's Response: WELL ZANK YOU SO MUCH! For this and your other delightful reviews! Yeah, Tyrone is pretty annoying... though I think he gets more likeable as he gets older and (slightly) more mature.
The mods keep rejectin\' \"The Truth\" (which is called that) because an integral part of the plot involves Jordan and the internet, and \'twould seem we\'re not allowed to use the internet in our stories... apparently, this is a new rule that was made after I did Dark Lord\'s Blog.

Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?

Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.

This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.

haha, "That's it, the man's dying!" i like this story... its very origanal! and JKR never explained what happened to him... this must be it! lol
~Padfoot

Author's Response: Thank you! When I read DH, we saw Ollivander tied up in the basement, and I kept expecting to see Fortescue, but it NEVER HAPPENED! He was probably still tied up in Voldy\'s cavelike lair.

Grey Suffering by Sly Severus
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 14]

Summary: "Very few people believe in second chances, Mr. Potter. The simple truth is that there isn’t a single member of the Order who would care if I died, nor is there a single Death Eater who would care if I died. My family is already gone. I have nothing left to fight for.”

“I would care if you died,” he told her.

Well, this was original! Very odd pairing, Harry/Narcissa! I don't really like the ship, but it was a good story.

'Her once perfect, shiny hair was now matted and streaked with white. Her pale and smooth skin was showing wrinkles and scars from the battle.'
I like how you show Narcissa as a human, not some snotty beauty. I also like how you showed Narcissa's affection for her son. It shows that even people as nasty as the Malfoys can be a family.

'Nothing that felt so good could be wrong.'
That was a nice way to end the story. It was sweet, but not overly disgusting, and had its share of angst. Good job!
~Padfoot

Author's Response: Thanks! This was a really interesting story to write. I really enjoyed it and I\'m glad you liked it too.

Summary: This fanfiction writer laments the loss of her favourite dark lord in a re-donk-ulous poem.

ha that wuz haha hilarious! i made my HM friends read it and one of them was hysterical! my fav part... was the whole story! or poem or whatever you wanna call it. i can see that happening... jk... i agree w/ whoever said it, you should do a Lion King (my fav movie!)... yanno, with Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Harry's Simba and Ginny's Nala and Ron's Timon, and Hermione is Pumba... taht would be hilarious! but this was a great story and made me laugh!
~Padfoot

Author's Response: Thank you! I had so much fun writin\' it. I actually have a Lion King one somewhere, but it\'s for the film and not the Broadway musical, so it\'s really short... I\'m also working on one for Wicked and one for Grease (about Snape).

The Cause by Pussycat123
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 276]

Summary: Marty Price works for The Cause, which involves several campaigns and petitions on a weekly basis. It has become common knowledge within Hogwarts that if you see her coming towards you with a clipboard, you should turn and walk the other way. Or perhaps deny all grasp of the English language. And if this isn’t eccentric enough, there’s also her obsessive written observations of four boys in her year, which will one day make a rather interesting book ...

Remus Lupin, meanwhile, has always been a little different, too. Poor, sweet Remus Lupin is, to the casual observer, the picture of a sensible, hard working student. However, he has three friends who have done more for him than anyone knows and they have done this because of his troubled past, troubled present and troubled future. Why the gloominess? Because Remus Lupin just so happens to be a werewolf.

So what could these two possibly have in common? And how can their stories possibly connect?

“It’s not that surprising. It’s not like I have any proper friends who would care enough to write, is it?”

Ouch! There goes Marty, saying the uncomfortable truth that nobuddy wants to hear. i think that's why so many people thought she was Luna's mum.

"And somehow — through divine providence, surely — the Marauders all begin to laugh along with me."

Aww! She's starting to be friends with them! Yaay!

Yes, the story's making sense! And I love it. It's adorable! But why was Remus so awkward? is it cuz of his condition?

Can't wait for the next chappie! And Merry Christmas!
~Padfoot >.

Author's Response: Wow, Merry Christmas to you, too! Yes, I can see why there are a lot of parallells to Luna, but can you really imagine Marty with Xenophilius? Because ... o.0. Remus is probably awkward because of his condition, yes, as he doesn\'t like the thought of someone he doesn\'t really know properly get too close, and find out. Also he\'s just more naturally reserved. But don\'t worry, because I\'m sure once he gets to know her better ... well. =)

Ooh, I hint a bit of shippiness! 'Course, it'll probably take awhile for our dear Marty and Remus to figure out they like each other, but that's okay! Very nice chapter- Marty at the end was hilarious. Perhaps Madam Pompfrey slipped something else in the flu potion...? ^_^
~PnP

Author's Response: Who knows, she's got to get her fun somewhere, hasn't she? I imagine you're absolutely right about Marty and Remus ... but it would be a little boring if it wasn't that way, wouldn't it?

Reviewer: PadfootnPeeves Signed

Oh my gosh, I adored this chapter! Marty's ranting and freaking out had me in giggles, and the 'Sirius vs Serious' was a very nice break from the lame jokes other authors include.

And the line whilst making a mental note to avoid any deserted corners that could be interpreted as romantic and/or secluded sent me to hysterics. You're very good at mixing humor into a story.

The Hogsmeade tour was very original... they're all rather funny. I can't wait to read the next chapter... I want to know what happens at the protest!
~PnP

Author's Response: Hooray! I\'m really glad people don\'t seem to think the Sirius/Serious thing was too tacky ... I know how annoyingly overused it is, but I got the idea for Sirius hating it as much as everyone else, so I thought I\'d risk it ... thanks for humour comment! I love making people laugh, it feels so good, so thank you.

It's over? *cries* I'll miss this fic so much... :-(

This chapter was sweet in a sentimental sort of way... my favorite part would have to be Marty following Phyll's advice :P But I also love how Marty grows up and faces Taffy's, which is a really nice way to end the story.

I'm sad you're stopping writing, but hopefully one day you'll come back. But if you don't, just know that love all of your stories anyways. You're a fantastic writer, and good luck to whatever you're writing now. And thank you for writing this story... it's my favorite Marauder Era ever, and I'll be sure to re-read it loads of times :-)

~PnP

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! Rest assured that I'm not leaving because I don't really like fanfiction any more, because I do. And I'm so, so glad that you enjoyed the story. It was important to me that Marty faced her worst fears in that way. I wanted to prove how strong she is (and I'm sure Mrs Lupin would agree) and I wanted her to be able to move on with her life (to do that, of course, she would have to accept the past). So I'm glad you agreed. When a close friend or family member dies in a lot of fics, it's usually only a chapter or two before they seem to have been forgotten, and I didn't want to do that with Marty, because of course she would never have forgotten her mother. Anyway, thanks for the review. In fact, thanks for all the reviews, because I've loved reading them, and it's such a great feeling to know people have liked Marty and this fic. =)

Yaay for another Marty-filled chapter! I hate how all the girls were mean to her, but it was definetly believable.

I really liked this chapter... it's kinda hard to describe ^_^ I'm anxious to see what kind of 'test' Marty will have to take.

The fighting at the end was so unfair! i felt really bad for Marty, but it's typical of her to forgive them.

I hope the next chapter is up super quick! (Well, it'll be hard, since the queue is closed)

PS James was doing the summoning charm illegally, since he's in sixth year, right?

Author's Response: Well, they were in school, so it wasn\'t THAT illegal ... although they are in sixth year now. I\'m not sure exactly how the rules work, but I don\'t think it would bother him too much if it WAS illegal, to be honest. =D I\'m glad you liked the chapter! I guess you\'ll see what will happen with the test ... but maybe not for a while. I\'ll update as soon as I can, though, don\'t worry.
