Summary: James Potter usually accepts dares without batting an eyelash. However, this time, while he’s on a dare, he's also on a personal mission. But first, he’s anxiously waiting for Lily to turn up. What does Lily have to do with this dare? And what will she say when she finds out?
Before you start commenting that the dare was unromantic, please please read the 2nd sentence of the 4th paragraph. I clearly state that "James was steeling himself to do SOMETHING HE WANTED TO DO VERY MUCH EVEN WITHOUT BEING DARED TO". In other words, the dare was the catalyst, not the cause. It only served to spur him into action; it didn't give him the intention of doing what he did (I'm trying not to give out spoilers here, so read to find out what - though you can probably guess ;)).
awwwww! of course sirius would have to dare him! he wouldnt get it done any other way....
All is not well.
George uses work and Firewhisky to cope with Fred's death until a drink with a friend leads to something that dulls pain better than alcohol. Emotionally torn by grief, he struggles to allow Alicia into his life...and then comes baby....

Hestia and Mr. Dursley are constantly fighting, Petunia is avoiding the wizards at all costs, and Dedalus is trying to make them all the best of friends. Meanwhile, Dudley discovers he has an interest in Harry's world, but his parents are less than pleased when they find out.
Update update update!!!!
Summary: All may be well for those in league with Harry Potter, but this is certainly not the case for those who supported Lord Voldemort. Rodolphus Lestrange flees from Hogwarts shortly after his lord's demise in the battle . . . but he can't ever flee her, no matter how far gone she might physically be.
Character Death warning is for a death that happened in canon, and the Mental Disorders warning is just to be safe.

Author's Response: LOL, well, almost sorry is good enough for me. Thanks for the review! :)
