NIGHTINGALE, SING US A SONG of a love that once belonged.
NIGHTINGALE, TELL ME YOUR TALE; was your journey far too long?

I'm Kritchen, I'm nineteen and my birthday is May 25th. I live in America and I don't know what to tell you about myself. I have issues picking favorites so basically, I don't have a favorite HP book or movie. I do have a favorite character. Yes, that would be Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. I'm completely convinced that if Dumbledore wasn't dead, gay and about four times older than me, he'd be my soul mate. No lie. love Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Kingsley, Luna, the Twins, et cetera. Some random trivia as to how HP has affected my real life? I have a cat named Bo Kingsley (after the one in the books). I'm immensely and hugely like Luna and Dumbledore. My car is even named Luna. It's gotten to the point where my friends at school call her that.

One True Pairing: Andromeda and Ted. My story is based around them and all came about by a one shot of Teddy Lupin by Kerichi. Thank you Kerichi! Writing my story, I've simply fallen in love with these two characters and I've got plenty of story ideas left for sequels. :]

Recommended Fan Fics: anything of Kerichi's. Mistletoe's Broken Quills. KritchMis's Fuzzy Elfin Dilemmas. Padfootsgirl1981's Things Aren't Always Black and White.

Mother's Girl, Father's Girl by abovelevel
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 4]

Summary:
Andromeda Black was never as sweet or quiet as her little sister, nor as clever and bold as her older sister. Andromeda was never anything in particular. She certainly never imagined that she would someday betray her family.
Andromeda is just herself. And for Ted, that's enough.

Character Exploration Fic.

I'll start with this: my OTP is Andromeda/Ted, My stories mainly revolve around them. I'm currently reading stories by others of these two. :)

I absolutely love the set up of this story. It's unique and flows so well. It also shows a very different perspective into Andromeda than any I've seen yet. The progression of her character from just a little girl to her sorting and then her family confrontation... It's stunning really. I also love the way you portrayed her. My portrayal of the two has a lot of similiarities, such as the sorting hat wavering between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Another similiarity is Ted's occupation after Hogwarts. It's only briefly mentioned in my one-shot but I love that you see him the same. Simply put, your work is refreshing and fantastic. I enjoyed it a lot. :)

Author's Response: Hello kritchen! Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review my story. I love Ted/Andromeda as well and I am glad to hear that you think I did justice to the pairing. Andromeda is such an interesting character in my mind, because she can be written so many different ways and still fit with the canon given. And, to be honest, there is something about the Black girls that I just find fascinating. Anyways, I hadn't checked out your work before but I, too love to read a good T/A so I will definitely be heading over to your page soon. Again, thank you so much! Your review made my day :) -Claire
