NIGHTINGALE, SING US A SONG of a love that once belonged.
NIGHTINGALE, TELL ME YOUR TALE; was your journey far too long?I'm Kritchen, I'm nineteen and my birthday is May 25th. I live in America and I don't know what to tell you about myself. I have issues picking favorites so basically, I don't have a favorite HP book or movie. I do have a favorite character. Yes, that would be Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. I'm completely convinced that if Dumbledore wasn't dead, gay and about four times older than me, he'd be my soul mate. No lie. love Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Kingsley, Luna, the Twins, et cetera. Some random trivia as to how HP has affected my real life? I have a cat named Bo Kingsley (after the one in the books). I'm immensely and hugely like Luna and Dumbledore. My car is even named Luna. It's gotten to the point where my friends at school call her that.
One True Pairing: Andromeda and Ted. My story is based around them and all came about by a one shot of Teddy Lupin by Kerichi. Thank you Kerichi! Writing my story, I've simply fallen in love with these two characters and I've got plenty of story ideas left for sequels. :]
Recommended Fan Fics: anything of Kerichi's. Mistletoe's Broken Quills. KritchMis's Fuzzy Elfin Dilemmas. Padfootsgirl1981's Things Aren't Always Black and White.X

Highly Improbable by Vocalion
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 477]
Summary: COMPLETE. A woman visits Hogwarts expressly to meet Severus Snape. Her eccentric aunt led her to believe that he was the kindest, handsomest man to ever grace the earth. What will she do when she discovers the awful truth - let a few minor imperfections stand in the way of romance? Highly Improbable has been recognized by the Multifaceted Awards as Winner in the Laughter Category and Runner-Up in the Identity Category (Best Original Character), and also by MNFF's first annual Quicksilver Quills Awards. Thanks, MuggleNet!
.
i have to say, this was definitely an amusing tale. It was humorous and silly and fun to read. Excellent job! :] Your Snape simply made me giggle an insane amount and having them be a bickering couple was a good idea. I love reading about couples like that. So thank you for a marvelous read. :]
Author's Response: Oh my gosh! MNFF finally fixed my review thread! There was some sort of glitch and I haven\'t been able to respond to HI reviews since June 2006!

Thanks for reading, kritchen, and I\'m glad you liked it. :-)
By My Side by MoonysMistress
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 59]
Summary: One-shot. Remus Lupin lies half-dead in St. Mungo's, and Tonks kneels by his bedside, reflecting on what she might lose. Far more humorous than it seems! Written to the ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT song "By My Side" from Godspell. PG for mild language.
squeeeeeee! I love this pairing. Remus is one of my favorite characters and I love Tonks because of what she means to him. Excellent portrayal of them and simply stunning way of putting these two together. five golden rings for you (holiday spin on five golden stars)! lol.
The Futility of Reason by Vocalion
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 31]
Summary: A procrastinating Potions master puts his worst foot forward as he makes an unwavering, albeit unconventional attempt to prevent Hermione's marriage. Will forty-eight hours afford Severus Snape sufficient time to convince her that he is a supercilious and unmitigated nuisance? Written in response to the Spring Faire Festival's "I Want to Kiss the Bride" story option.
typically, I don't like noncannon pairings but this story was brilliance. It really made me giggle (awarding some strange stares from my parents but it was worth it) and I definitely did enjoy it. The pairing is so absurd, it works. lol. thank you for sharing this lovely story. Kudos for you! :]
Author's Response: Thanks! :-)
The Upside of Being Down by Kimberley
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 506]
Summary: *COMPLETED!*What happens when you put a hopelessly "romantic" man-hussy and a girl with a soft spot for bedtime activities (not THOSE activities, silly!) together in a dark bedroom? Well, I don't happen to know either, so I suppose we'll find out together, won't we? Come with me, Tia C. Spencer, on a lovely ride through the countryside... er, lakeside... okay, so we won't actually be riding NEXT to anything, but it will be lovely, I promise you that. How can it not be, with me as your illustrious (and quite possibly mad) companion?
And no, contrary to beliefs very likely impressed upon you by this summary, I'm not a gormless prat.
Well... not entirely.
this story was very good. I enjoyed it a lot, your Sirius is love and Tia is quite the character. :]
i simply love the way you write and the style of it. and your use of words is brilliant. I love the word "nefarious" which you have seen fit to use several times. :] go you! lol. now on to reading the rest of your story.
this chapter has no spacing at all. just thought i'd let you know.
Once in a Blue Moon by Kerichi
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 301]
Summary: Tonks is rich in family and friends, but the wages of a new Auror keep her short of funds. A side job brings something into her life money can't buy.
*Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance- Canon.*
i just wanted to say that i finally finished this story around my busy schedule and you're simply brilliant. your tonks and remus are just like i've imagined them which is always a nice surprise. i definitely loved your story. im planning on reading the other tonks/remus stories you have when i have time. :]
Author's Response: That makes me so happy, that with everything else you could have being doing, you chose to spend some of your precious free time reading my story! Thank you very much! ^_^
A Wolf in the Moonlight by Kerichi
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 545]
Summary:
When her old pal Rory calls in a favour, Tonks searches for a missing girl with the help of her new love Remus and his 'dog' Snuffles
*Sequel to Once in a Blue Moon*
*Ch 20 Quote*
It was the happiest Christmas of my life.
this is the second of your stories that i've read and i rather loved it. i have to say the first one is my favorite so far. you know what they say about sequels. lol. :] you've inspired me to start thinking about writing one of my own, only with tonks' parents.
Author's Response: How a couple meets and falls in love will always be special, but staying in love is the real adventure, and I think Remus and Tonks\' relationship only gets better, so I hope you keep reading the series. Yay for you wanting to write about Andromeda and Ted! I\'d love for you to read my one shot about them, Hey, You! I Don\'t Like Your Girlfriend! :)
A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 1385]
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.
* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *
(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)
I never would have thought of Draco and Ginny as a couple and I must say that I much enjoy it. It's definitely better than Hermione and Draco. She belongs to Ron. :] And I love your female Blaise. She's hilarious. As well as your portrayal of Ginny and Draco. Excellent as always. :]
Author's Response: I\'m weird in that while I firmly believe Hermione belongs to Ron and Remus belongs to Tonks in every dimension of the Potterverse, I had no problem imagining Draco and Ginny together. Maybe it was because this was written HBP, and I thought he would be paired with Luna...and didn\'t deserve her either! LOL.
Author's Response: I meant to say \"pre-HBP\" and Thank you!
Love, Werewolves, and Animagi by Mistletoe
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 21]
Summary: Hullo! I'm Lily Evans, and I'm starting my seventh year at Hogwarts soon. I'm Head Girl with James Potter, which I'm secretly thrilled about, emphasis on the secretly. Seriously secretly, like even to me, kind of. Well, I must be off!
Hey! Lily! Oh, sorry, so rude of me, I'm Anna, Anna Boothe. Lily's uh, hold on let me grab my trunk, it's just slipped out of my fingers. Where was I? Oh yes, Lily's best friend. We're inseperable, really. Like two peas in a pod and whatnot. Where is she, anyway? Er, well it was nice meeting you, I've got to go catch the train!
Oi! Did you just see Evans? I've been looking for her and I thought I just saw her here. I'm rather excited about being Head Boy with her; it'll give me a chance to show her the real James Pot--
What are you going on about, Prongs? Why are you even listening to this nutter? We've got to catch the train. Probably talking to you about Evans, am I right? He would talk to a tree about Evans if he could. Moony, Wormtail, help me get this starry-eyed git onto the train before it leaves without us...
You two are helpless, don't you think, Pete?
More helpless than two Grindylows out of water...
[pokes] you should work on this some more. It's cute and I rather like it. [bounces] Okay, I lie when I say rather. I really, really, really adore this. [bounces some more] See, I'm really bored. I'll leave now. :D Enjoy my random review!
Author's Response: Bahaha, kritch, you so silly. This is the one that I\'ve been trying to work on, but my beta hasn\'t sent me chapter two back for two months.... *is cross* I\'m going to work on it more though! Really!
When We Were Gods by Marauder by Midnight
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 23]
Summary: He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was hardly the first to attempt a purge of the non-magical community. The Dark Lord cannot be attributed for the devious idea of joining the gods on a pedestal of eternal fame and worship.
No, even he draws inspiration on events in the forgotten past. Even he has a teacher.
Will history repeat itself?
Takes place in Ancient Egypt
Hello. I came across this story in the Reccomend a Historical Fiction thread in the forums. It's original and interesting. I love your portrayal of the gods. I've always loved old Myths about Gods and such. I'd love to read the next chapter!
Things Aren't Always Black and White by padfootsgirl1981
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 392]
Summary:
:P Meany! Lol. That was probably one of your best romantic chapters yet. If not the very best. I loved it, needless to say. I really love how you manage to get everyone's emotions in and still not seem like you're focusing on one person in particular when you write the group scenes. I only hope I can get that. That's why I stick to first because otherwise, I like to throw in random character's emotions into the mix. :D
Author's Response: Aww thank you very much *beams*. Thanks that really is a big compliment, I always worry that people will think that I\'m only focusing on one character, I really like to try and get the emotions of the rest of the group in there too. I\'m sure you will get it, if I can do it, anybody can lol! Thanks so much for the review, chapter nine in the queue :D!
Oh my! I sense a miniplot developing! [snugs] I'm so glad you posted this! It was brilliant as always and wow, your OCs are ridiculously clueless. Must be why they get along so well! :D
Author's Response: And what mini plot would that be I wonder? Which OCs are clueless? Well,I suppose you could argue that they all are really. Yay! Glad you liked it, part two up soon hopefully *crosses fingers*! Thanks for reviewing!
Awwah, this was one of the best birthday presents! I loved it! I say that always about this story, but it's true. The scene in the dorm was the best, especially the Lily & James parts. It made me smile and squeal with delight. As always, excellent work in expressing emotion and delivering a well deserving story! Thanks for it!
Author's Response: Yay! I\'m glad to hear it, even if it was over a month late - damn rejections! Hehe, glad you liked the dorm scene, it was loads of fun to write - gotta love those cheeky Marauders! Aw thank you so much! Part Two is now in the queue!
:O poor Remus! I really want more of this Kirsty and Sirius relationship. :) Blissfully good as always. Thanks for the fantastic reading. It was exactly what I needed.
Author's Response: :O! I know :(. Hehe, bless Sirius and Kirsty. Aww thank you, I'm glad to be of service :) xx
Wow. I can't believe I let it get this long between reading! I still adore this story and man, I feel for Kirsty. I've been there.
Vibes of frustration! More like WAVES.
Vibes of frustration! More like WAVES.
I want to find out what happens to Kirsty and Sirius!
This is, fanastically, a wonderful story and I can't wait for the next chapter.
[prods sirius and kirtsy] Just go for it! I fear I've been a very poor number one fan, but you're still an incredible writer. I so enjoy reading this story. :)
Author's Response: Hehe, watch it, Sirius might just snap your fingers off lol. Aww, don't worry about it, glad to see you're still popping in :D. Thank you!
