Summary: It's the beginning of her 7th year and Jen's parents decide to move her to America. Five years later, something tragic happens and she is forced to live on her own. With no family and nowhere else to go, she returns to Britain. She meets up with her old friends, the Weasleys, and things began to look up. Unfortunately, her past comes back to haunt her and she must face it. Only this time, she won’t be facing it alone.
I liked this chapter. Isn't George so sweet? And why do they have to go to America, couldn't her friend have told her everything in the letter, or talked to her via the fire? Sorry, I'm just frightened something bad will happen. Oh, and Dumbledore gets more Dumbledore by the minute, even more secrets, he obviously didn't learn his lesson after making the mistake of not telling Harry about his profecy for years. Wonder what would have happened if Jen hadn't been attacked by Malfoy, would the profecy still hold true? If they do find out what happened to Beth I hope those responsible get their just desserts.
Author's Response: he didn\'t want to tell her via owl or fire because it is possible for it to be intercepted. as for the rest... just wait and read. i can;t tell you before you get there, now can i?
This story is brilliant, so well written it makes me laugh and after this last chapter cry. What happened to Beth, did the death eaters attack? I thought she might have gone back to England with Jen and gone out with Fred, then together they'd get Jen and George sorted out. The letter Dumbledore gave Jen as she was leaving Hogwarts seemed so much like him I couldn't believe it. He used Jen as a means to an end, just as we found out in DH he'd used Harry. Wouldn't be surprised if he'd got the American minister to offer Jen's father that job too. Don't get me wrong, I love Dumbledore, his motives are good at least. I love how George and Jen heard the same song and had the same dream and glanced at the same picture. I thought at first it was some sort of telepathy with George being a twin and all, but since it all happened at different times i guess it wasn't. I've had pleasant dreams like that in the past, wonder where my George is? Personally I always prefered Fred because being the more open of the two he'd bring me out of my shell. Anyway, I'm off to the next chapter, sorry for the waffley review, it's just once the thoughts start I can't stop them. Oh, and all the best for 2008
Author's Response: I absolutely LOVED reading your review. lol! Dumbledore purposely having Jen;s father relocated, you say? That is an interesting idea... you\'ll have to keep reading to see if that is true or not. lol! and it is just how he used Harry in DH, though I obviously did not know that since this was written long before DH was. Definitely not telepathy between the two... more like just plain old love that neither can deny nor forget no matter how hard they try. Your reasons for picking Fred are the reasons why I pick George. lol! I am more closed and private and I prefer those that are like me in that way (like my bf in real life). I am glad that you enjoyed this chapter and I look forward to seeing more reviews by you... and there is more of the story written (all of it actually), but I have not yet posted it since I still have to edit it... best of luck to you as well
Summary: Hermione is abused both mentally and physically by those that should love her the most to the point that she can't take it. During her first week of Hogwarts she is haunted by nightmares of her home. She decides to use the time turner to make a difference in her life. Though there is an accident and she ends up farther than she expected. In the time of the marauders. When she finds a life she loves, will she go back? HGRL pairing
I am really engroced in this story, it seems to have as many twists and turns as JKR's work. For a moment, before Hermione's mother and step father were identified I thought it was an adult Hermione and Snape, I thought maybe she'd grown up in the past and he'd somehow captured her. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Summary: Hogwarts is hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance, a strange Muggle tradition in America, and Ginny Weasley knows who she wants to invite. Will he say yes?
YaY, very fluffy and funny.
Summary: PRE-HBP!!! Harry starts out his sixth year in sorrow at the loss of Sirius. Ginny helps him to overcome it, and our heroes learn a lot about life and love. This story has been completed! Special thanks to my mod, Danielle and to my fantastic readers!
I've just read this entire fic in one evening, I just couldn't stop. I've felt such a range of emotions throughout this story and that proves how brilliantly written it was, as many readers will agree, if a story leaves you feeling indifferent then the author hasn't done their job. I'm now feeling very conflicted, I'm so happy it's all over and they can finally live, but it pains me to see the losses, even Snape. I'm also very apprehensive with regards to the sequel, that spoiler doesn't sound too good for someone. Right, very well done and i'm off to start book two.

I really liked the bit between Ron and Hermione, especially when they mention Fred and George. It looks as though Ginny is struggling with the NEWT work, I was hoping she'd be brillinat and when she's done her exams, she'll go after Harry and help destroy Voldemort. I know it's not my story, I'm usually wrong, and the real plot is always so much better. Glad Petunia isn't too bad.
I'm going to move on to the sequel, but first I'd just like to say that this was one of the most heart breaking things I've ever read. I know Harry, Ginny and Gwendolen are to be a family, but the rift with him and the other Weasley's might never fully go away. I wish he'd done memory charms on them all and pretended. I commend your imagination, such a complicated plot but everything still made sense. All the characters were still recognisable as themselves, despite the imense
All the characters were still recognisable as themselves, despite the immense strain each new situation placed them under. I hope they all forgive and forget. And I hope too that Petunia gets to see her great niece, she did turn out to have a heart after all.
I'm almost in tears, what a sacrifice. Could Ginny not have completed her NEWTS then used the time turner again and gone back to care for her child so she didn't miss anything and knew it was safe? Oh God! They haven't left the child at the orphanage where Voldemort grew up? Guess I'll find out soon. I'm a bit sceptical of percy's letter, hope he's not being false. Sorry, I haven't any criticisms, best press on to the next chapter.
I almost fainted in shock when I realised Ginny was sent to the Dursley's, but after the tardis like wardrobe, I didn't think it'd be so bad. It's still awful having to go through all that herself. Will Petunia help with the birth or anything? I still think she could go back after NEWTS, or even take them early, she can do all her studying and probably get more done alone. My immediate thought when the wardrobe's secret was revealed, was that if only JKR had allowed Harry such a luxury, after he'd started school of course. I suppose Petunia was obliged to provide adequate meals because of Ginny's condition. Right, must go, next chapter awaits.

Well, I knew it wasn't the obvious, Lily and Remus would never try and push someone into that. And also, what do they have against broccoli? I love broccoli! That charm bracelet sounds lovely, if I ever had a daughter I'd get her a charm for each special memory. Yeah, I'm a sap, and I like it. Great lighthearted fic, apart from Malfoy, he makes my skin crawl.
Summary: Every story written about the Marauders has always been the same. Pranks, love, mischeif...But, what if there was another side to all of it? Another side to the fun? James Potter finds out sooner then expected that reality isn't just a bedtime story. It's real. And it's haunting him. How can he live out his days in Hogwarts as a regualar teenager when things start happeing that are beyond his control? Not to mention, the love he possess is slowly being taken from him...
CHAPTER 10 IS UP!!!!
I'm really enjoying this fic, there's a lot of funny stuff going on. Just thought I'd mention that in this chapter you've got Madam Pomphrey running the library, did she and Madam Pince switch for the day too? Anyway, I thought the body switching prank was excellent, but very cruel on James as he hadn't known what Sirius had done and wasn't to blame. It was also very harsh for them all to laugh when he got punched by those other boys. I think Lily should be his servant for a week to make up for it. Anyway, hope to see more soon.
Summary: Dealing with girls had never been Ron Weasley's 'cup of tea'. So, he will seek and find some advices from his most reliable sources: his brothers (!) to solve his personal riddle, as known as 'Hermione Granger'.
This was excellent! I really liked Bill's little story that turned out to be their parents beginnings. Charlie's advice would have taken Ron forever, what was he thinking? And Ron's letter to Percy was hilarious! My favourite advice came from Ginny, but i got quite a laugh from the twins. And I don't like Krum much either, so call him what you like. Ron's last letter, to harry, was so IC, great stuff.
Don't read if you are offended with rape and abuse. Contains events that will be quite offensive and possibly "disgusting". You have been warned.
Runner Up in the Dangerous Liaisons Awards and He Had It Coming Awards.
~The story is now Complete!~
Thanks for reading!
This was a very difficult story to read, and I'm guessing here but I doubt whether it was particularly easy to write either. The psychological aspect of the situation was fascinating however, it reminded me of kidnap victims developing strange attachments to their captors and yet it was much more than that too. I'm not sure if the purpose of your story was the psychological implications, but that is what struck me most when reading.
Summary: Two days after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, Ginny Weasley sits at the banks of the Great Lake, remembering a game she once played with Ron, and contemplating who she is, what she was, and her decision to reclaim her innocence.
I liked this, although I'm not sure where Ginny got the fragment of Diary from. I loved how perseptive she was regarding other people, their natures I mean. And the memory of Ron letting her fight the dragons with him, this doesn't seem to fit with his not wanting her to go to the ministry with them, but perhaps their game wasn't as real to him as it was to her. I think my favourite part though was the idea of Ron beating Voldemort at a game of chess. Reminds me of my idea that there'd be peace in the world if the Prime Ministers, Presidents and Dictators faught among themselves, then none of us would have to go to war. Anyway, interesting concept, well executed.
Summary: One chapter story about draco and hermione... cute ending! Please read and review!!! This is my first fanfiction, so tell me what you think!
This was quite cute, I just can't get their previous years out of my head though. I could accept them being allies against Voldemort, even being civil, but married? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, but perhaps further flashbacks to past events that made them, particularly Draco, change their point of view.
Summary: A continuation of A Long Wait and 2nd in the series. - Severus and Hermione are having another baby. But, he gets called away to help an old friend, and leaves her in the care of Osiris and Crookshanks.
I love the idea of Osiris. And he and crookshanks are so funny, bickering between themselves but creating mischief together. The last line of the story, was my favourite. Snape still isn't too keen on Harry is he? I think what happened to Filch was very fitting, let the punishment fit the crime. Great fic!
Author's Response: Osiris and Crookshanks were my favorite to write. Thank you for reading this. I\'m glad you liked it.
Summary: Draco never really had a mother. Will Hermione Granger show him what he was truely missing? One-shot, written for a Tom Felton birthday challenge
This was excellent, but I can't imagine this ever happening in canon. Perhaps though without anyone else around Draco might let his guard down? You've made me feel so sorry for Draco, I just feel like reading him a bedtime story now instead of slapping him silly.
Summary: Harry has just lost Sirius, runs from the Dursleys into the wizarding world where he experiences people and creatures he's never known before. Do they help him to prepare to meet Voldemort? Read and see. Follows Cannon, No Slash. The first in the trilogy. Reviewers have given this a ten out of ten.
I'm sure I've read a sequel to this. It's an excellent story. I love all the different characters, the elf, the gypsies, the slightly less annoying Snape. This chapter was particularly good, the travelling soul, setting Nagini free. Trust Hermione to know it was Harry, but won't she and Ron knowing weaken the position somewhat? Anyway, can't wait to read on so I'll end this for now.
I loved this fic, Snape is brilliant, I'm glad to see he has feelings in there somewhere. The last chapter made me smile, that for all the evil in the world, they still could have some joy. Also, the escape scene was so confusing until they got back to the shack and explained it was all done with mirrors. The snow storm was brilliant. I love unusual magic like that, not caused by a wand i mean. I think I've already read another in the series, but if i can find it, I think i'll go through it again. Excellent fic!
