Summary:
It's a rescue, really. At least, that's what Fred and George Weasley manage to convince him of. After all, Hermione is sure to be a target for revenge seeking Purebloods - what could any right-minded Wizard do but step in to help?
But with the shadow of Voldemort still hanging over a frightened community, Oliver is about to find out that the consequences of doing the right thing can get very out of hand!
An Oliver Wood/Hermione Granger Romance
I do so love the velvet menace of a well-written Malfoy *sigh*
Congratulations on ending the story. It's a mighty bed of laurels to rest on! I have to agree that this chapter does provide a fitting end to the story, everything's tied up nicely, and there's also the hint that life goes on (to adventures that may not be bigger or better, but will at least be different). Candy-coated happily ever afters just grate sometimes, so I'm well pleased with an Obliviately ever after. lol Of course, I'd never say no to a nice dose of fluff, either... and it will undoubtedly be some high-quality fluff.
It's been a long, but thoroughly enjoyable journey! Thanks for sharing your divine imagination with us mere mortals :)
Again, thank you for these epilogues. They may not be strictly necessary, but they're always a pleasure to read. I'm sure the rest of your audience will agree that this is such a sweet little vignette. It sort of makes you appreciate the rest of the story, having short moments of domestic bliss after you've dragged everyone through the ringer (in a good way) throughout the rest of the story. Thanks for indulging us :)
The Other Half by Hope Hollowell
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 70]
Summary: George Weasley was lonely. It was an odd feeling, because George was never alone. He shared an apartment with his twin, but as of late even his relationship with Fred had been strained. Crediting his sudden change in behavior to a "mid-life crisis several decades too early," George embarks upon a journey of self-discovery, and he finds a kindred spirit in an also-lonely Hermione Granger. During his search, George hopes to find himself as well as the person meant to be his other half. George/Hermione
Warning mostly due to some swearing and innuendo in later chapters.
