Severus Suffering by GryffindorGoddess
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 16]
Summary: Lily Evans was the only woman Severus Snape ever loved. During school she was the only person for whom he felt anything other than contempt, but leave it to James Potter to crush his dreams of ever having her. Now, when he is shocked to be invited to their wedding, what decision will he make? Will he stay isolated in the shadows of his despair, or use the opportunity as a chance to say goodbye?
Argh. That was painful to read - but in a GOOD way.
Author's Response: yes, sad isn\'t it?
Argh. That was painful to read - but in a GOOD way.
Author's Response: I know, sad isn\'t it? I\'m glad you liked it, Hazzel. And thanks for the review! ~GG
The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 1352]
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.
WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.
RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!
Hahahaha. You are quite possibly insane, but in a good way. Very imaginative writing. :)
Author's Response: Only \'quite possibly?\' I\'m insulted! ^_^ I\'m kidding. Thanks!
... And he Turned Around Snobbily and Strutted Away by Mind_Over_Matter
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 63]
Summary: "Strutting around the place with his friends and admirers..." ~Professor Snape, PoA
There may be some reason behind Snape's words.
Quite amusing. That is reallly the most important thing to say. :)
Author's Response: Oh, but of course. I aim to gently amuse, and perhaps even slightly entertain.\r\nThank you!
The Werewolf Prank by capella_black
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 34]
Summary: There are two sides to every story. See the events of the infamous werewolf prank as they unfold through the eyes of both Sirius Black and Severus Snape.
Very good story. The writing the two of you did flows together well, and your version of events is very convincing.
A Quest For Ice Cream by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 122]
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?
Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.
This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.
Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!
Now I wabt ice cream! Oh, and yes, you are funny. Rather.
Author's Response: Thanks! This story always makes me want ice cream...
Six Roses by Vindictus Viridian
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 27]
Summary: Lillian Howell, sixth year Ravenclaw, is one of Hogwarts' entrants in the Triwizard tournament. She travels to Durmstrang to face conundrums, explore new friendships, and dare that biggest mystery of all -- boys!
This was an entry in the Triwizard challenge by Vindictus Viridian of Ravenclaw House. Everything and a hamster Animagus may occur within these screens.
Well, first of all I'd like to say that I've read almost everything you've posted, and I love your style.
And second, damn you, write more so I have something to read!
Amortentia by Amara Anon
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 16]
Summary: Severus Snape resorts to desperate measures to win Lily back after the "Mudblood" incident.
I realised after about the second sentence that, after searching for Snape stories, I have read this one before. That said, I re-read it. I really like it. It is not overly dramatic, and I think your style fits Snape's personality well. :)
Veiled by greengecko
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 11]
Summary: Voldemort has set his snake, Nagini, upon Severus Snape, killing him. What will become of him?
I love this. It is very entertaining and well-written. :)
Severus Snape and the Sorting Hat by Sariana
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 8]
Summary: This is a one-shot about what Severus was up to while Harry and Luna were in the Ravenclaw common room. It is canon-compliant (I hope!) and contains DH spoilers.
Disclaimer: The Harry Potter universe belongs to J. K. Rowling. I am just borrowing it for a while.
Nice work. I found the sorting hats perspective ratehr interesting. :)
Author's Response: In OotP the Sorting Hat sings the song with the warning. Ron asks how can it know that Hogwarts is in danger if it\'s a hat. Nearly Headless Nick points out that since the SH lives in Dumbledore\'s office, it is bound to overhear things. I sort of expanded on this idea and added the thought that the Sorting Hat is sort of omniscient. It can\'t control anybody\'s actions, but it can influence events by how it places them in their Houses.\r\n\r\nThanks for the review. Sorry I was so long in responding. I was offline for months when I was pregnant and recently have been busy with a newborn and a preshooler.
That's What Friends Do by Vindictus Viridian
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 10]
Summary: Sometimes the truth is slick, evasive, and hard to capture. And sometimes it's worth catching all the same.
An entry in the November one-shot challenge, in which Severus must give Lily a homemade present and she must kiss him on the cheek, by Vindictus Viridian of Ravenclaw.
Eeeh. It isn't fair. Everytime I read one of your stories, it makes me want to keep reading, but then...there's nothing more to read because I believe I've read all of them up 'til now...so I have to wait. :(
But seriously, I love your writing. And this story is adorable.
Author's Response: Aww. Thanks. There\'s a fair number of readable writers on this site (including the ones on my thank-yous for betaing) so they may be able to keep you contentedly reading while I write my pesky end-of-semester papers. Enjoy! I\'m glad you liked this one!
